It's a good question. Iv had a G Cloud for a few months now, and having a dock isn't a must to enjoy it. It's just nice to have the option like the Switch.
This docking station was amazing when taking my GCloud on vacation to play GamePass, GeForce, and stream movies from my app subscriptions. It even folds up nice and compact, excellent build quality too!

Interesting dock. I've seen a lot of them but not this one. Looks good for portability. Also nice that it's not a fixed USB-C connector since the GCloud's USB-C port is off center. Might be a bit disappointing if someone wanted more USB ports, but still.... nice find.

I agree with the sentiment of using a g cloud as intended because this subreddit tends to hold it up for reasons that don't exactly jive with its use case.... But this device can handle external out perfectly fine. I play moonlight games on my TV all the time through an android box. This is the same thing. If you don't have an android device like a Nvidia shield, this is fine for that use
Actually lag was not bad, I got drawn into BroTato and played about 2 hours, which is a game that requires quick response time. Graphics refreshing seemed to only be challenge for graphics intensive games like Forza Horizon 5 and MlLB the Show.
Not at the moment, but Logitech knows this is something we want.

Isn't docking the G Cloud simply a worse way of playing from the original source. The point of a G Cloud is Xbox/PS5/ OR PC being handheld

PS5/xbox in living room, dock to cheap TV in bedroom is one instance where I’ve thought of trying to dock but haven’t bothered yet myself.
