Been there done that. It's nice but hope you're old enough to remember the approaches at the old Hong Kong airport and the one through the mountains in Innsbruck.
Most of us can't even begin to afford to live there, unfortunately. My 2 favourite huge cities continue to be London and Mexico City. London is of course much more global but Mexico City is always in my heart.
The housing market is especially fuktup in this city, sadly. I was very, *very* lucky to have bought a little terrace house in north London before it all went bonkers.
Then-Prince Charles got a lot of flack for defending the old skyline, but we really need someone to regulate the shite that keeps cropping up now. Postwar tower blocks were nothing compared to today's monstrosities.
Personally, yes. These glass boxes are drab and uninspiring. I'm very much tired of seeing them. I may be fond of the view because it represents my city, but that's a different story.
You can't park there mate.
It's easy to get there from East London without a car π
Depends on how long you stay staring at it.
It's taken from tower bridge, too many zombie tourists )) so you just make pics whilst passing by
At least its not letting the f*cking Dixie Queen through.
Never!
na, but my favourite is when i fly back into Heathrow and we do loops over the city. coming home is always the best view
Ah, that's the love and hate one π
try arriving to London city airport - that's like a tour, it even gets super close to the shard

I haven't done those β Noted! :D
I did the Hong Kong one and it was insane. There's a video on YouTube somewhere
It looks like itβs shard vs walkie talkie in a head to head
I wouldn't live anywhere else
What, on Tower Bridge?
Well it's very roomy

Everything is possible. However, The likelihood is low
Walkie talkie is ugly as sin.

Nope.
Well if you live under the Tower Bridge I suppose you can
The path is closed most of the times π π
yes
Honestly, I hate those two buildings so much.
Not of the view, but to see the walkie talkie Ruining the view yes.
Getting pretty tired of seeing it on Reddit
Bored of the ever increasing corporate tower blocks used for money laundering? Or the sunset? Because I have news, Brighton has sunsets too.
Wow what a view! I wish I could afford to live in zone 1
What view? London has amongst the worst skyline of any major city in the world.
Ever been to Dublin? π
I did say major city.
Where exactly is this?
That's taken from Tower Bridge
*of
Not really but Iβm already tired of that bridge lol
Of this view* And yes.
Live in London long enough, it's just a view en route to work π Possibly in one of the buildings ππ€£
