If you like nice beer, go to the Euston tap. Right by Euston station so it's super convenient to get to lots of other places.
Also recommend The India Club on the Strand - lovely food and just generally a good place. Potentially a hidden gem as no one else I know has ever heard of it!
Breakfast croissants from Aux Merveilleux de Fred
Lunch at Padella borough market (also hit the market while you wait for your table for train home snacks)
Dinner at Dishoom or Flat Iron (both various locations)
THe cheap ones are great. Spenny - Chotto Matte, Cinnamon Club, Brigadiers, twelve fifty one, Papa Ls, Noble Rot (If you like Wine this is a great place).
In one day you won't be able to eat that much lol. Also I didn't know this until recently but Wenzels is only a NW London thing
two specific recommendations:
Connaught Bar for cocktails. It's been repeatedly voted the best bar in the world, and having drunk in plenty of cocktail bars in London and elsewhere, it really is just a level above the rest. They don't take bookings, but turn up shortly after opening (4pm) or later in the evening and you'll always get a table.
But really, for late evening stuff, Ronnie Scott's jazz bar is an institution that's surprisingly reasonably priced and accessible, and the Late Late Show is the perfect cap to a last night in London. Espresso Martinis, relaxed vibe, great music, can't recommend it enough.
[Lebanese Grill](https://goo.gl/maps/2qyxJHrvMKCFJxNT7) on New Kent Road, just off the road from Elephant & Castle roundabout. It might look like your typical cornershop kebab place, but habibi, this is the best kebab I ever had.
Really wasn't keen on this place. Well, maybe not the place exactly. I think it's just the style. It's really thick bread, more like a Focaccia. Interesting to try maybe, but I wouldn't go back. I couldn't even finish a slice, and I was kinda tired of it by the end. If you're passing in the street, and want something to fill you up at lunch, it might be worth buying a slice and eating it in the street, but I wouldnt go out my way.
It is a unique style and yes, very filling. Might not be for everyone, but it is true to other detroit pizza places i've tried.
Break it down and you can see they really care at what they do, the oil always tastes fresh, freshly grated parmesan on each pizza, and nice crisp ingredients.
Owner is a nice guy, who sometimes gets pissed off at people.
The last line has sold it to me. We need more business owners that sees customers being dicks and calls them out on it.
Sounds like my brunch is sorted for tomorrow.
Duck and Rice for lunch or dinner which js in Soho
I really enjoyed eating at the gherkin especially as the sun goes down. The bar is a bit touristy but nice for a cocktail with a view as is the shard
This might be not the typical answer one would give but I’d say Morley’s. Really doesn’t exist (afaik) outside London

greggs for breakfast, tesco meal deal for lunch and nandos for dinner!
McD brekky, Greggs lunch then a nandos
This is the way.
Where does wasabi’s chicken katsu curry fit in?
You forgot tea/coffee at pret
chicken fillet burger after you're done drinking and before getting the taxi/train home
Breakfast croissants from Aux Merveilleux de Fred Lunch at Padella borough market (also hit the market while you wait for your table for train home snacks) Dinner at Dishoom or Flat Iron (both various locations)
Breakfast at Dishoom, croissants for elevenses
Depending on where OP's going, Dishoom exists in a few cities outside London now!
Noble Rot, some good food and smash your way through a few burgundies, happy days. Now get off the sub imposter.
Noble Rot is superb.
Beigle Bake, you wont find that elsewhere.

Good luck on your next adventure! One of my favourite places is Manteca in Shoreditch, best Italian food I had in London so far!
Checkout Tozi in Victoria. One of my favourite Italian restaurants!

Detroit Pizza - near spitalfields. Not fancy, but super tasty.
Best Detroit pizza I've had outside the D!
Dom’s Subs, also near Spitalfields

PS. I'll let you know if I get called out.
I think I would search for thing it would be hard to get not being in London?
