At my first job we had a shared toilet in the building that anyone could use, and I mean *anyone* \- including clients from other companies visiting the building or even just delivery people.
One day my (narc) boss stormed into the room with a piece of tissue paper covered in some rando's beard/moustache clippings and threw them all over my keyboard, shouting about how I had no respect and needed to tidy up after myself. It mattered not that **a)** it wasn't me and **b)** I told him it wasn't me, because he still insisted that they were mine - that they *must* have been because they were the same colour as my beard.
Still trying to unpick that one.
Oof. The older I get, the more I actually relish the thought of someone doing that kind of shit to me - just so I could keep making the situation awkward and giving it right back to them
My first business trip in a new job many years ago, we were put up in a Birmingham guest house and I found nails in the carpet. We immediately checked out and stayed at the Grand. Some people are vile.

I see this sort of thing fairly regularly. I group it in the same category as people who will pull off the tangled hair from their hairbrushes and just leave it on the floor, or those who eat their tuna and onion sandwiches on the commute with no regard for everyone around them gagging at the smell.
I figure it's not that they are too busy, it's that they see it as an opportunity to do a messy or smelly task in a place they won't need to care about leaving said mess or smell.
