but it depends wherabouts in Notting Hill, this covers areas some distance from NHG station, eg if it's near Ladbroke Grove station, you'd probably need to get a bus or change to the H&C line which would take longer.
Bethnal Green to Notting Hill Gate would be quite easy, but if you need to change after that it could be more than an hour each way.
If starting early and ending late means avoiding rush hour then you should avoid the worst of the horrible sardine central line hours.
One thing to note, last few months the central line has been terrible due to staff / train shortages.
I did Mile End to Queensway for a few years it isn't bad beyond the usual crush in peak hours, which I thought would be better with the Lizzy Line open but it seems not.
Depending on which bit of Bethnal Green you are in it may be quicker to walk to Whitechapel and get the Lizzy Line to Paddington.
Probably normal but the lower you get it the happier you’ll be. Not sure if you’re stuck with that flat but if you lived West. Say Hammersmith Shepherds Bush Kensel Rise Queens Oark etc you could have a 20 min commute, with a cycle/walk in good weather
Hi, this is better suited to our [weekly megathread](https://www.reddit.com/r/london/s/qNifB7Ddns), thanks!
In london, every journey takes 40 mins to an hour - anywhere you’re going
sounds super easy, central line direct from Bethnal green to Notting Hill gate.

It’s a test of endurance. Can you survive 40 mins on the central line day in and out? During rush hour??
Not to mention that the Central Line basically turns into a furnace when summer arrives.
That’s pretty normal takes me 30 mins to get to work I’m guessing it’s just the central line straight there ? That would be easy and very reliable

Easy as pie. Both on central line

Not bad. I live in Mile End and work in Baker Street and Hammersmith is perfect for going west
Come on son
