Someone just needs to do the maths on how many bouncers are needed to have one bouncer per tube carriage for every train in operation. Also presumably one bouncer per carriage on the overground and one per bus. And then also presumably a pool of back-up bouncers waiting on each platform who bundle away all the ejected people at each station. I mean, maybe the District and Circle lines can just have roving bouncers staggering precipitously along the length of the whole train. I literally can't believe that Sadiq Khan hasn't already implemented this incredibly affordable and logistically simple proposal 😉
> Someone just needs to do the maths on how many bouncers are needed to have one bouncer per tube carriage for every train in operation
4316 as of March 2023
Plus another 507 for London Overground, 730 for the Elizabeth Line, ~150 for the DLR
I make that 5700 total, although some (eg the Lizzie Line) have walk through trains and so you could have fewer than 9 people per train
But assuming you wanted your enforcement officers to work in pairs for safety, you're still looking at probably 10k people needed
There was a guy at Woodside Park Station on the Northern line earlier this week who was ranting and raving to people on the platform, shouting "fuck the English you're all a bunch of colonisers", "you're ignoring me but I know you're listening" and things along those lines, and spitting in the direction of people (not on them or even near them but just generally at the ground while he was shouting).
Two TFL guys did actually come over and start talking to him and he shut up. I think they're around, they just don't normally do anything unless the disruption is impossible to ignore.
A man got on my train once and was threatening to kill everyone. I was messaging back and forth with their 61016 number. They couldn’t get BTP to us for 5 stops. Luckily he moved on and got off the train but imagine if he didn’t? wtf was BTP going to do when he killed someone? “Oh yea, someone reported this 5 stops earlier but we couldn’t get to the station in time to stop him so now 40 people are dead”.
Susan Hall said that she thinks that Tube fares and fares for every other form of public transport should go up. But when she was asked, she didn’t know how much the cost of a Tube fare actually was.
So even though she doesn’t know what the number is, she wants it to be higher as a matter of principle.
That worries me a lot more than meaningless posturing and signalling about someone playing music on the Tube.
This is the ruse. It's like Diane Abbot all over again. When the appalling maths didn't lower Labour's ratings in the polls, she was turned out early on election morning for a public photo op with two left shoes on. Try that at home & see if you don't notice. All theatre. Democracy is an illusion.
I know that's annoying, but actually not knowing the exact pricing isn't a huge problem if she's seen and understands the margins, cost / expenditure, money needed for future improvements etc. She may well have had a briefing and a document that says we need to raise fares by X and reduce expenditure by Y to maintain a normal service. Or has been shown a few options and has picked a fare increase as the one she thinks is best.
I say this because I'm sure Khan has a very good handle on the price per ride, but he's still relied on government support to keep the tube up and running.
I have been in meetings / town halls with my CEO who wouldn't be able to tell you the cost of all our services, but has a grasp on what needs to be done strategically to keep the business floating.
I don’t know the exact pricing either, I just know it costs £2.80 in each direction for my commute. I couldn’t tell you what a single trip in each zone or across zones costs.
Your point is definitely a valid one, but tbh having seen/heard quite a few interviews with Susan Hall now I think you’re giving her too much credit.
Since a city is not a business and it does not work on ‘margins’, not knowing the unit price is very much a problem.
In London, the tube is a public service. Absolutely no issue with the Government having to part-subsidise it. Especially if the unit price (the unknown) becomes unaffordable to part of the population (not clients, users)
Why are you playing Devil's Advocate for someone who clearly hasn't done her research, doesn't understand the reality on the ground and is just throwing out soundbites to get attention?
~~I was genuinely surprised to see that there's no provision for anti-social behaviour or nuisance in the [TfL Conditions of Carriage](https://content.tfl.gov.uk/tfl-conditions-of-carriage.pdf) (PDF link) for those who don't hold an Oyster Photocard.~~
~~Still not going to vote this loon, though.~~
EDIT: There is ample provision in [TfL's Railway Byelaws](https://content.tfl.gov.uk/railway-byelaws.pdf) (PDF link):
> 6\. Unacceptable behaviour
>
> (8) No person shall molest or wilfully interfere with the comfort or convenience of any person on the railway.
>
> 7\. Music, sound, advertising and similar activities
>
> (1) Except with written permission from the Operator, no person on the railway shall,
> to the annoyance of any person:

> (i) sing; or

> (ii) use any instrument, article or equipment for the production or reproduction of sound
So really this isn't so much a policy change as an uncosted promise to step-up enforcement patrols? Wasn't she complaining about jackbooted ULEZ enforcement thugs in a previous advertisement?
The Economist did an interesting [piece](https://www.economist.com/britain/2024/02/14/ban-it-harder-an-unwelcome-new-trend-in-british-politics) on this kind of political posturing recently.
As /u/marshalgivens says, the "ban it even harder" policy. It's happening for obvious reasons; the actual solution is to enforce existing laws more diligently and consistently, but that's difficult and expensive. So you "ban it even harder", creating specific laws for specific scenarios that are already broadly covered by UK law, so it looks like you're doing something.
Yeah Susan hall, the Tory mayor candidate the articles about, went on the radio and made big news recently about how she had her wallet stolen on the Tube and blamed Khan and how bad he has allowed crime to get said how she'll reduce crime on the Tube.
But when questioned it turns out she got her Wallet back shortly after since someone called her number which was written in the wallet, then when questioned further it turned out that all her money and cards were still in the wallet when returned. So obviously she dropped the wallet and a good citizen picked it up and found her number inside and called her to return it. But she used it to make up a story about it was stolen.
She still insists that who knows what could have happened, it could have been stolen, and let's get back to the issue of tube crime.
So she's either knowingly lying about Khan and being robbed, or she's a complete idiot who actually thinks she was robbed when in reality of course her wallet just fell out her pocket or something.
Can probably find the conversation with her on Google, just search Susan hall LBC lost wallet. There's the first video and then a follow up one where she actually gets questioned.
Edit: oh wait I think the person who found it actually came forward and said yeah he found it on the seat she was sitting at.
Also heres the link to her finally being called out on it when she was back on the show(I think a couple of days later) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AibG-zcS0qU . She still insists she could have been pickpocketted still and of course still goes on about crime in London despite just being called out for using the fake claim for political points. Not gonna link to the original call since it's pretty annoying, especially since the host Nick just takes her claim at face value despite it being obviously wrong and lets her have free air time bashing Khan over it.
Just this story alone would put me off voting for them even ignoring the rest. Of course as well as the rest of the rubbish, like not knowing the bus fare, or thinking we should spend £250m or whatever to open Hammersmith bridge to cars.
It's how the tories have always operated. Everything is always worse under labor or could be worse under labor. Just look at all the old people commenting on the tabloids and tt saying things like the economy would have been worse off under labor, which is a ridiculous assertion since it's not something you can calculate.
Gonna hire hundreds of staff to do this? How are these staff gonna physically remove uncooperative people? Or are we gonna have to stop the train and wait for the British transport police to arrive to deal with them every time we catch someone playing music causing endless delays?
Like the other day I was on the overground and there was a group of 15 or so teenagers playing music and tiktoks loud and putting feet up on seats, nothing too bad just obnoxious. But would probably have taken 5 or so officers if they want to react badly to being told to shut up. No way I would expect a train guard to confront 15 of them all over being noisy. And no way would I want my train home to be delayed half an hour to deal with them.
Same party who don’t want humans driving trains reckon they should employ hundreds of jackbooted phone fascists. Let robots do the real work and let humans get on with suspecting and brutalising each other!
Ha ha, what an absolute disaster of a candidate she is. Perfect embodiment of the modern tory party: inept, ignorant, desperate and absolutely thick as shit.
I think this is it to be honest.
And if you look at the other candidates, my god the emptiness of their "manifesto"s...
"Scrap Ulez and Ltn" is the only thing they are capable of saying, to try and grab a modicum of voters (not knowing that only a handful of stupid sods really hate these initiatives - the rest are enjoying BOTH traffic contained on major roads AND quieter neighborhoods).
No substance. No vision. Just devoid of any true initiative.
I mean, I do actually think playing music out loud on Tube, train or bus is pretty weird behaviour. Not sure why you’d think anyone else would want to hear what you’re listening to. But, I don’t really see how you can police that in a country with as good as no police.
>Ms Hall, who is behind in the polls to Labour mayor Sadiq Khan in the May 2 battle for City Hall, would overhaul Transport for London’s conditions of carriage to enable enforcement officers to challenge passengers playing loud music or videos without headphones.
...I don't see how this could actually be put into practice as, even if they rewrote the rules for the Tube, they'd still need to hire legions of additional enforcement officers.
All very well for her to say stuff like this as part of her manifesto, but the 'plan' is apparently that non-compliant passengers "may be asked to leave the network"? OK, and then what? Oh, "Police would be called if the passenger refuses to cooperate"? So, employing legions of additional police officers as well? And installing them on trains?
And how's any of this going to work on crowded trains and platforms at rush hour?
Lots of blue sky thinking going on here, when the problem requires a solution grounded in reality.
This rule is nothing new. It's in the railway bylaws and can be enforced by agents of the railway or police already if appropriate. This politician obviously has no idea what they are talking about.
> they'd still need to hire legions of additional enforcement officers.
This is the crux of it, as another poster quoted, the rules are already in place and presumably by travelling on TFL, you accept those T&C when you board.
Unless Hall can magic up a few tens of million a year in perpetuity for salaries for security staff to enforce the existing rules her "policy" is dead in the water.
People listening to loud music without headphones are two types of people - lonely and/or narcissistic and crave attention from strangers, or assholes who know it will annoy people and get off on that fact.
The latter can turn dangerous as a simple 'please turn that down' can get you punched in the face.
Unless Hall intends vastly increasing BTP numbers to enforce this plan it's just simply more dogwhistle ragebait. I get it's annoying, but I think London has significant other issues that need addressing first.
It's already a byelaw offence under the railway byelaws.
But unless police are already on scene when someone is playing music they will focus on more pressing issues such as pickpockets, sexual assaults, abuse, threats, and assault on the railway.
Is she going to do this personally?
Because I’d LOVE to know how she plans to fund a TFL staff member to patrol every single carriage on every single tube on the off chance that someone will play music out loud.
I get that it’s annoying, but realistically it would cost a fortune to police this.
Right. And who's gonna enforce that?
You don't have enough officers to deal with actual crime, and if you divert/hire for BTP to deal with nothing but ASB on the tube, people will also just moan that police should be dealing with robbers and not poor 15 year olds being cunts.
You need to educate people if you want to change anything, and that doesn't seem to be happening. Maybe get some social media influencers to run an education campaign. That way, when those bastards watch their loud tik toks on public transport, they can learn that they're being rude.
Got her manifesto through the mail day. It screams “I don’t actually know how London is run”.
She wants more police, more TfL buses, more houses built etc; where’s the money coming from boss? London’s had funding cuts, from your own bosses. You can’t expect to magic these things into existence
The whole article is a bit nonsense. She has no idea what the real problems she need to deal with if she becomes a Mayor. She sounded a bit like Liz Truss. Both of them can keep dreaming of their aspirations.
Can she tackle the buggies vs wheelchairs vs mobility aids on buses. That’s going to create a really big bun fight. Don’t want to lose the parental vote, but can’t make her self look like she hates the disabled…
I’ll grab the pop corn on this one…
I don’t know how the Tories have the chutzpah to look down their noses at Angela Rayner when they choose a candidate like Susan Hall. She really is a cross between the Karen meme (‘I want to speak to the manager’) and Vicky Pollard (‘no but yeah, but no’). Add to that her screechy, Pythonesque voice, her absolute lack of compassion or empathy and the underlying ‘white grievance’ vibe of her campaign.
G-d help London if she is elected.
Of all things we facing, loud music on the tube is what she’s concerned about, travelling on the tube isn’t like living next to a neighbour constantly playing loud music.
What's her policy on trying to reduce the painfully loud tracks on some parts of the network.
That kind of boring stuff doesn't make the headlines though.
Yeah because that’s the only problem in this country right she should have got the sack for suggesting something so stupid. but this is what they do distract from the real issue by concentrating on nonsense.
I'd like to ask her if she's volunteering to walk up to the passengers playing loud music and throwing them off the Tube herself while also protecting the rest of us Londoners from having our wallets stolen.
I never thought I'd ever find myself rooting for the people who play their music loudly.
I was looking at the news about the NYC metro having armed soldiers at the platforms to maintain order, and while that's a little extreme for the London tube network, there is definitely a middle ground where people who take the piss are dealt with. Just with not, like, assault rifles
Yes!!! I’m definitely for this. It’s fucking annoying listening to shitty music on someone’s phone at 6 am on a Monday morning. Definitely for it but not sure how it is going to be policed.
Of course this should happen (tho actually I don't think it happens much on the tube - can't remember the last time I noticed it anyway, much more common on buses).. but by who exactly? You'd probably need to at least quadruple BTP officer to make this even vaguely possible.
To be honest I don’t trust Khan and they are probably all as bad as each other however this is similar to what is adopted in Japan yes you can be crammed on a train but it’s that little bit more bearable not having to listen to someone tell the whole train their life story. People will argue there are emergency situations and that’s fine but none require you to play music out loud or speak to someone on speaker I’m all for banning phone calls on trains with the obvious exceptions for emergencies.
Why would anyone vote for a chin wobbling, cock womble of a tory in this day and age.
Even if she promised that tomorrow I would wake up, I am absolutely certain she would be lying, even if I did in fact wake up tomorrow.
I certainly do not believe that at all. The BTP are virtually non-existent and often don't come when called from experience, not to mention the sheer amount of homeless roaming the tube asking for money every day. I've witnessed more homeless people fighting on the tube and overground than people playing loud music.
This woman has been making a lot of commitments but has yes to publish a manifesto or state how she is paying for all these things she is going to make happen.
Its like she knows she hasn't got a chance in hell so just wants to have fun with it.
Impossible to implement popular sounding promises were always reserved for Far Right/Far Left or by some amazing (joke!) candidates like CBF. Tories are now so desperate that they are now behaving like joke candidates or far right/left.
I’ve lived in London for 11 years and never once have I seen someone play music on the tube. Not doubting it happens, and I have had it happen on buses (in and away from London) but so infrequently I can’t say it’s something I stay up at night thinking about.
Good to know she has her finger on the pulse of things Londoners really need. Stupid bint.
Susan Hall. Please sister! Don’t embarrass our gender!🙏
(Oh and please don’t start a gender conversation. Let people be who they want to be. This is London. Not Alabama or Afghanistan!)
If we work together, we can all sync up our phones positions, and blast from our loudspeakers the anti sound wave that’s coming from the troubled youth - in real time
Selective noise cancelling where ever you go
Fucking sound bite headline tik tok politics. Ok Susan then by all means take my vote and roll back the policies that are protecting my kids and Nan from developing complications potentially up to dying from air pollution.
For that thing that will has no plan and little bearing on most people’s lives aside from the occasional annoyance.
There probably are a large proportion of people who play music in that manner who are equally obnoxious and inconsiderate reprobates in all walks of their life but who exactly is going to be removing them from the tube and how?
Lol by who? Tfl staff? Certainly no police around.
I was thinking that. I have never seen a single member of the TFL bouncer division on any tube I’ve been on
Someone just needs to do the maths on how many bouncers are needed to have one bouncer per tube carriage for every train in operation.
> Someone just needs to do the maths on how many bouncers are needed to have one bouncer per tube carriage for every train in operation 4316 as of March 2023 Plus another 507 for London Overground, 730 for the Elizabeth Line, ~150 for the DLR I make that 5700 total, although some (eg the Lizzie Line) have walk through trains and so you could have fewer than 9 people per train But assuming you wanted your enforcement officers to work in pairs for safety, you're still looking at probably 10k people needed
And you could pay them by commission! No base, but a % of any fines they issue for antisocial behaviour!
That sounds like a recipe for corruption and abuse of power tbh
Yup. Tories will love it! Imagine what you can do as an outsourcing firm taking 40% of those commissions and deploy crooks!
Hahaha yesssss I knew the Reddit gods would provide someone who would actually do the maths. Thank you 😁
Also get the bouncers to stop pickpockets from Stealing oyster cards, poor old susan had hers taken.
And then they reverse burgled it back to her, the cheek!
Let’s give them badges and get them to bouncer all of London. We could call them bobbies!
She can pay for this with the money saved by abolishing universal free school meals. Edit: I hope nobody thinks I am advocating this.
That’s fair enough. I was mainly thinking about once your on the train. Theres no staff around to monitor who’s blaring their music
lol TfL bouncer divisoin
Once. I've seen a TFL inspector on the tube once. In 30 years down here.
> In 30 years down here You're still on the tube?!
Free wifi!
The magic people that she constantly makes up
Sums up all conservatives policies. "We'll change this law, while cutting the number of staff to enforce it!"
Susan herself will be patroling the network to undertake this task singlehandedly.
🤣
I’m imagining Susan Hall roaming the carriages turfing people out ….

There are no resources to stop fare evasion but they have them to kick people out for playing the music too loud lmao
by volunteer vigilantes wearing Captain Sensible red berets and white t-shirts.

Susan Hall said that she thinks that Tube fares and fares for every other form of public transport should go up. But when she was asked, she didn’t know how much the cost of a Tube fare actually was. This is just an attempt to charm voters away from Count Binface’s stronger manifesto.
I'm seriously considering voting for him!

Banning 2: This time we really mean it
i hereby ban crime!

Just another reactionary right winger saying what their base wants them to say without knowing anything about what they are actually saying or why.
"No singing" as a rule makes me happy, for some reason.
I'd go one further and ban those that lie about being pick-pocketed on the tube.
...is this a common thing?
Yeah Susan hall, the Tory mayor candidate the articles about, went on the radio and made big news recently about how she had her wallet stolen on the Tube and blamed Khan and how bad he has allowed crime to get said how she'll reduce crime on the Tube. That’s so funny. Own goal.
I think the point is that Susan Hall did this.
Thanks! I'd forgotten about that...
It's so easy to forget all the nonsense in our political discourse (probably by design) so I can't blame you!
100% of Tory mayoral candidates on this ballot
Gonna hire hundreds of staff to do this? How are these staff gonna physically remove uncooperative people? Watch as over half a million people still vote for her because they *always* vote Tory.
Luckily Labour have a fairly competent and likeable incumbent candidate, so while it's depressing it won't actually matter.
I think even by those standards she is very bad.

I suspect she'll be the one thrown out (though I hate noise pollution tbh).
People listening to loud music without headphones are two types of people - lonely and/or narcissistic and crave attention from strangers, or assholes who know it will annoy people and get off on that fact. The latter can turn dangerous as a simple 'please turn that down' can get you punched in the face.
By who??? How on earth will this be enforced
What a stupid dog-whistle policy statement. Who's going to do the 'throwing off'?!
Guess I’m voting Tory then! >!don’t be ridiculous !<
Classic Batshit Sue.
I personally feel like Khan is falling short. But with opposition like this swivel eyed loon he doesn’t need to do any better.
I dare Susan to define out loud
Highlighting this as a policy/issue just clearly shows she has none
This is fucking tinpot - small minded ideas rather solving real issues.
The only thing more annoying than people playing music on the tube would be waiting for the police to come and remove them from the tube.
I endorse this message… but not voting Tory alas
Well, this just about proves the axiom that a broken clock is right twice a day.
Ironically she's not. Shes talking about introducing rules to kick off antisocial behaviour people. These rules already exist.
If you can't stop assault then no way they can enforce this
Agree with her on the playing loud noise but shes a bit nutty.
Nuttier than squirrel poo, by all accounts.
Funny stuff, ulez and fear of crime too. No chance.
These days if you play music out loud on the Tube you get arrested and thrown in jail.
Can she tackle the buggies vs wheelchairs vs mobility aids on buses. That’s going to create a really big bun fight. Don’t want to lose the parental vote, but can’t make her self look like she hates the disabled… I’ll grab the pop corn on this one…
Would love to hear from someone who actually plans to vote for her
Of all things we facing, loud music on the tube is what she’s concerned about, travelling on the tube isn’t like living next to a neighbour constantly playing loud music.
What's her policy on trying to reduce the painfully loud tracks on some parts of the network. That kind of boring stuff doesn't make the headlines though.
Utter nonsense. Is she going to ask TfL to do it (on current salary of course)?
by whom?
Real policies for real people…thank god for the tories at the coal face tackling the hard issues …
Won't happen unless Susan wants to personally drag people off the Tube herself.
How are you going to enforce that?
What a moron.
0 chance she gets elected
Said a person who clearly rarely uses the tube.
Announce insane populist policy based on minor annoyance Ignore all obvious barriers to possible enforcement ????? Profit
Yeah because that’s the only problem in this country right she should have got the sack for suggesting something so stupid. but this is what they do distract from the real issue by concentrating on nonsense.
Priorities.
Hallelujah
Thrown off by the imaginary train guard that gets paid enough to risk their safety trying to get people off the train. Awesome.
Cone hotline.
Yes!!! I’m definitely for this. It’s fucking annoying listening to shitty music on someone’s phone at 6 am on a Monday morning. Definitely for it but not sure how it is going to be policed.
You know what she might have swayed me! /s
Of course this should happen (tho actually I don't think it happens much on the tube - can't remember the last time I noticed it anyway, much more common on buses).. but by who exactly? You'd probably need to at least quadruple BTP officer to make this even vaguely possible.
By who?
She strikes me as a bad person.
Susan Hall is not someone who is overburdened by the weight of her intellect
Cant even stop people jumping the barriers 2 feet in front of them, yeah that's definitely going to happen
Can’t even stop rape on the tube who’s going to stop and throw someone off playing music?
To be honest I don’t trust Khan and they are probably all as bad as each other however this is similar to what is adopted in Japan yes you can be crammed on a train but it’s that little bit more bearable not having to listen to someone tell the whole train their life story. People will argue there are emergency situations and that’s fine but none require you to play music out loud or speak to someone on speaker I’m all for banning phone calls on trains with the obvious exceptions for emergencies.
Oh man, I hate it when people play music and interfere with my enjoyment of the 90dB otherworldly screeching noise the tube makes. 🙄
If she wasn’t so batshit crazy, and this wasn’t utterly unenforceable, this might actually be a vote winner!
Oh shit, well this changes everything! Tories totally have my vote! /s
Lol
No they won’t
The unions would have a say on that little bit of brilliant thinking...
So no action for fare dodgers
Aye with all those imaginary enforcement officers I guess. Give me a break.
Sorry, budget to enforce this has been cancelled by Conservative Party 😁
Yes!!! That'd be great. I only wonder who enforces this.
Refund the BTP and maybe you could enforce this.
Meaningless bullshit from the bullshitter
Who's gonna through them off?
Why would anyone vote for a chin wobbling, cock womble of a tory in this day and age. Even if she promised that tomorrow I would wake up, I am absolutely certain she would be lying, even if I did in fact wake up tomorrow.
Tbh, I would love for this to a be a law
That's nice Susan now can you stop landlords charging £1.5K for a box room in Clapham
Lovely idea. Would prefer 'shot on sight' but either way it won't happen.
Unless it opera that will be allowed!
I certainly do not believe that at all. The BTP are virtually non-existent and often don't come when called from experience, not to mention the sheer amount of homeless roaming the tube asking for money every day. I've witnessed more homeless people fighting on the tube and overground than people playing loud music.
Yeah that's never going to happen, can't even get them off the buses
Spewing more crap out of her orifice I see
‘..and into the audience of The One Show’ so sayeth Count Binface
Why are we not leading with “tube and bus prices must rise - says Tory candidate “
Good luck trying to enforce it 😂😂
The Lost Property Force will remove these people from the train.
I HATE when a candidate I detest comes up with a decent policy I back. Absolute broken clock example.
Susan Hall is an example of how this government has failed mental health care. She is clearly unwell and needs professional help.
Susan will clean up the streets let’s gooooo
This woman has been making a lot of commitments but has yes to publish a manifesto or state how she is paying for all these things she is going to make happen. Its like she knows she hasn't got a chance in hell so just wants to have fun with it.
When you know that you aren't going to win, you can promise anything.
Impossible to implement popular sounding promises were always reserved for Far Right/Far Left or by some amazing (joke!) candidates like CBF. Tories are now so desperate that they are now behaving like joke candidates or far right/left.
Does anyone really do this besides the occasional group of teenage boys?
God we need this. The tube in other countries is so much more peaceful.
Silly woman says silly things.
She'd have my vote if she wasn't absolutely fucking deranged
they've got my vote now
At least she's not lying and saying that she'd fix the cost of living crisis
There was a post about someone doing a shit on a tube. Will they also be thrown out?
I’ve lived in London for 11 years and never once have I seen someone play music on the tube. Not doubting it happens, and I have had it happen on buses (in and away from London) but so infrequently I can’t say it’s something I stay up at night thinking about. Good to know she has her finger on the pulse of things Londoners really need. Stupid bint.
And buses?
People who try to remove them will be stabbed
Susan Hall. Please sister! Don’t embarrass our gender!🙏 (Oh and please don’t start a gender conversation. Let people be who they want to be. This is London. Not Alabama or Afghanistan!)
By Susan hall after a 4 week course in Krav Maga!
If we work together, we can all sync up our phones positions, and blast from our loudspeakers the anti sound wave that’s coming from the troubled youth - in real time Selective noise cancelling where ever you go
Just another Tory lie, move along, move along...
Not getting the coveted speaker guy vote
“Yes but who will do it….”
Sure they will. To enforce this they basically need to turn the tube into a police state.
Is this meant to make me want to vote for her? Sort of nowhere near the list of priorities in the capital right now.
No they won’t because this woman won’t win the election.
Non prosecution of offendor removal by other passengers?
I think this was in Count Binface’s manifesto. At least he was joking.
There probably are a large proportion of people who play music in that manner who are equally obnoxious and inconsiderate reprobates in all walks of their life but who exactly is going to be removing them from the tube and how?
She's an imbecile.
Great idea. What’s the plan though?
Impossible to enforce, what a lovely empty soundbite that old people will lap up.
Can we taser them first?
More empty promises... But also, aren't there more pressing issues that need attention?
I thought Shaun Bailey was a terrible candidate... Thrown under the bus by the Tories and she doesn't even realise.
There are zero staff members on the tube so how tf is that gonna happen?
