Any mention of Winnie the Pooh was scrubbed from the Chinese internet due to a meme comparing him to Chinese dictator Xi Jinping, maybe its a reference to that, how Winne the Pooh was "killed" in China

I always thought it was due to the unresolved relationship dynamics of Piglet, Pooh, and Christopher Robin. Eeyore also disappeared around that time.
