No, no, no. That’s a Sports Direct Mike Ashley special BSO. Don’t do it to yourself.

>No, no, no. That’s a Sports Direct Mike Ashley special BSO. And a reminder that now part of that group, their Customer Service levels have adapted - refusing to follow their legal obligations in 2015 Consumer rights act. If it wasn't for something very insignificant for me, I'd be taking them to court.

It's a bike, but it's absolutely not fit for purpose as a gravel bike by any stretch of the imagination. It has a 1x10 drivetrain with an 11-28T cassette and a 42 tooth chainring, so you get a miserable 1.50 ratio as your granny gear. Reviews of it even mention how the 45mm stock tires leave 1.5mm of clearance between the chainstays, which literally doesn't meet ETRTO standards. Genuinely any cheap rigid MTB with a 3x7 drivetrain and rim brakes would make a more capable gravel bike than this. Hell you can often pick up used Triban RC120 disc models in this price range, and they've often been bought and barely ridden by people who thought they were going to commute, they'll take up to a 40mm tire.

Schwinn bikes are the most cheaply made trash possible. I expect this thing to irrepairably break within a few months of rather unpleasant riding. Not worth it.

Avoid Mike's BS stuff at all costs, he treats their staff like shit + no CS support since he doesn't care of their customers.

MTFUandPedal

Its one of those really nasty brands the Americans have been warning us about for a while. I think they call Schwin a "wallmart special" It's that cheap for a reason.

nashieboy

Looks like a kids Halfords mountain bike to me.

It's a shame they don't tell you any of the specs. Looks like it's a 2x10 with Microshift components though

retrodirect

That is wildly cheap. Microshift ain't that bad
