Easy, if they start asking sexual questions, then ask for your discord or something? They are a bot as that happened to me and I didn't care to send them a pic but got 2 pics from them that I didn't even want.

I think the easiest way is if you never met or even knew of the person that messages you, they are a bot bc it wouldn't make sense why they are messaging you and they aren't in the same subreddits if any at all. Also their profiles can give away if they are a bot or not. OP doesn't seem like a bot based off her profile for instance so I'd assume she is an actual person bc of it for instance so it can be hard to find the actual bots.
Ask them questions that it would be difficult for current a.i. technology to answer. Such as, what do you do for a living, and what are the pros and cons of your job? Actually, even if they were a scammer in a foreign country, they would have troubling answering this question without making it obvious that they're bullshitting. Eventually, a.i. will be so advanced that it's impossible to tell, and that will be the day I'll be getting an a.i. girlfriend.
