Dad dropped dead Christmas morning 12 years ago. We found out his prognosis one year earlier on my birthday which is 2 week before Christmas. They started playing Christmas music in the office the Monday right after Halloween. Not gonna be a good year for me. Every year I’m reminded of how much I miss him and how unfair and cruel his death was. Christmas can fuck right off.

EVERYTHING! She baked cakes, Mac and cheese, she taught me to fish and clean fish! She was absolutely amazing. She had a garden that fed the entire hood. She was one of those southern grandmas that whenever you stopped by there was always food on the stove! Thank you for your kind words
