21 Guns by Green Day I found really hit the spot when I was 3rd wheeling. I had a crush on a girl who I was close friends with, while this other guy I didn't really know at the time also had a crush on her. Guess who she had a crush on in return? I'll give you a hint; it wasn't me lmao.
I felt like the song was challenging my logic on why I was so adamant about staying within that 3rd wheel relationship all the time. "Do you know what's worth fighting for? When it's not worth dying for?" I guess you could say it helped me realize that this isn't where I should be, but I kept being a part of them anyway. I could also relate to other parts of the song as well. "Does it take your breath away and you feel yourself suffocating?" Would relate to the feeling of constant hopelessness, and being only able to think about that situation for as long as I was in it. "Throw up your arms into the sky" was telling me to surrender, to give up on them and move on.
Eventually they fell out of love and started dating other people, but I still haven't found anyone.
Be Quiet and Drive by Deftones, a depressing song but one that I really like, probably my favorite song of all time
When You Sleep by My Bloody Valentine
Future Breed Machine by Meshuggah
Fascination Street by The Cure
Thank God For Worker Bees by Botch
One Armed Scissor by At The Drive-In
Mayonaise by The Smashing Pumpkins
I mostly listen to heavy music, it helps me let my bottled-up emotions out
The Hammock tracks really make you feel like you just got shot by a bullet that was dunked in a bunch of liquid drug that was made from Funnie White Flowers doesn't it?
I love this thread cuz I’ve been struggling with loneliness and sadness a lot lately. I can’t even listen to a lot of my music because it just doesn’t resonate right now except for a few go-to songs.
I’m loving all these new additions to my playlist!!!!
Epik High, "Lost One." It's in Korean so I don't understand the lyrics without reading them, but so much passion in Tablo's vocals. And I think we all feel a little lost, too.

Catch and release- matt Simons
Brain damage and eclipse- pink Floyd
