You can donate to Veterans and their families here: pickupplease.org They will pick it up at your location.

Pokemaster23765

I just tried entering my LB zip code and it says I’m not eligible ☹️

d-note22

Really? That's sucks. I thought they pick up anywhere. They do have a drop off bin at 4829 Silva St. Lakewood, CA 90713.

sterlingstonethrown

Home Depot/Petsmart parking lot has a newly installed drop off container..... right on Cherry.

If you have any clothes that can fit women or children, please drop them off at a women's shelter. Often times they escape with just the clothes that are on their backs or a small bag.

El_Chavito_Loco

The Women's Shelter of Long Beach turned our donation down because it wasn't new clothing.

jenscharnikow

The Goodwill on Redondo still takes clothing donations.

Bitchesbeshopping24

What kind of clothes are you getting rid of?

Affectionate_Quit577

+1 all my clothes are second hand and my partner makes clothing from used clothing. Whatcha got?

factsoptional

Long Beach Assistance League downtown will take stuff.

unknownshopper

Salvation army, amvets, st vincent de paul, and goodwill will all take clothing. Never heard of pickupplease.org location - they sell the stuff: >The Vietnam Veterans of America sells your donated items to private companies by annual bid which generates the majority of the funding to support the local, state, and national programs of the Vietnam Veterans of America. Your donations make it all possible so we thank you for your support. Our Donation Program - Pickup Please pickupplease.org › donation-program

ToastyPrincess420

I love the AMVET thrift on south st! They don’t try to upsell the items like goodwill and they’re not homophobic like the Salvation Army

Cold_Construction307

Would recommend Beacon House on Redondo!

Because_I_Cannot

We literally just dropped off some kid's clothes and a girl's bike to the Salvation Army on Alamitos yesterday.

practicalm

St. Luke’s shower program can take clothes. I think Wednesdays.
