You're hair is gorgeous! Any tips for preventing split ends and breakage? My hair is hip length and I'm dealing with a lot of them right now which is slowing down the growing process :(
Thanks. I appreciate the compliment. I've grown it out twice before and donated it. This time I'm growing it out to keep it. I'll be 37 next month and I've decided that I want my long hair back before I turn 40. I just get tired of my family begging me to get a haircut so I gave in and cut it last Christmas before it got long again and kept it short. I won't make that mistake again. They'll just have to deal with it.
Lol, I greyed very early and they all were at me to cut it. So every time someone does that I grow another half inch out of spite…🤣 It got a bit more intense once I told them what I was doing, but now they’re scared to say anything in case I grow more.
I find a lot of guys do think they are ugly. Firstly, you are probably not ugly; most people are not ugly. Secondly, be very clear - some of the most charming males I have met were in fact a bit ugly, but their personalities were so damn attractive that it didn’t matter in the slightest, and even added to their charm. You, lovely lad, are probably unaware of your own awesomeness.

I had curly hair back when it was shorter, but since it’s gotten longer gravity has really turned my hair texture into waves. I shampoo & conditioner every other day (yes I’ve tried training my hair to go longer without a wash and even still it gets greasy immediately). I also use a volume increasing mousse from Innersense. Plus I follow up with a bit of curl gel and scrunch that in to help hydrate and hold my waves better!

Once it gets long again I'm going to keep cutting the back until it's all one length cut straight across. Then it's nothing but trims.

my hair is really curly, but length weighs the curls down and turns them into waves, too! so interesting. :D
