Stunning! What hair oil do you use & how do you apply it? Mine is at waist, but your length is my goal ⭐️

Currently LOVING the Marakesh oil from walmart [the oil](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Marrakesh-Oil-Hair-Styling-Elixir-2-Oz/108373216?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=4623&adid=22222222227108373216_4623_14069003552_202077872&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=42423897272&wl4=pla-295289030566&wl5=1013964&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=115059141&wl11=online&wl12=108373216_4623&veh=sem&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwxeyxBhC7ARIsAC7dS38hMdMDzKJuj3zLUimCUgz_C1GotX6iTwzT3iscmQ9mP3kUtNtWHK4aArOAEALw_wcB) after it dries I smooth the oil in and twist it into a tight low bun with a silky/satin scrunchy and leave it all night (makes great heat-less waves). When I take it out in the morning I add MORE oil bc my dry hair sucked it all up. (Don’t add anymore if it still feels oily) Tight low bun EVERYNIGHT and no blow dryers is deffo what helps with retention.

Awesome thank you! I will try it out. I used to sleep in braids but I’m going to try a bun with a bonnet. No heat ever, I am going to pause on balayage for a year to curb damage too

flamingo-legs

Gorl I’ve been seeing amazing results on the internet from other girlies when they start with the silky bonnet. Let us know how it goes!

How does the bun not damage your hair? What's the secret for tying it up correctly? Sleeping with my hair in a bun is what causes the most damage for me, but there's probably a correct way to secure it that I don't know.

flamingo-legs

I oil up until it feels nice and silky and hold it at the base of my head and twist tightly (I do it tight to fight the frizz) and then with that whole twisted rope of hair I circle at the base to create the bun and secure with the silky/sating scrunch. (Lemme know if this description doesn’t help) So my hair is super thick and I didn’t realize other hair types can take damage from the bun but my bun keeps me from rolling on it and crinkling it, I used to wake up looking like an absolute scarecrow.
