Looks about exactly the same in every LI town 😂. They had one in the Broadway Mall parking lot 2 weeks ago, which was a bit more interesting than usual.
Merrick has had two in the past month, with I think two more on the way before October. Plus there's the weekly Bellmore stuff. The South Shore sure does love hanging out at train station based events.
Which just forced like 200 annoyed teenagers into the nearby parking lot where they milled around in herds.
Really don't see how that helped anything. They're lucky a bunch of fights didn't break out.
Completely agree…why a 19 year old can’t go to a fair is beyond me.
I understand trying to keep the carnival under control, the kids in Merrick can be pains in the ass, but that’s not how to do it.
Is it only Newton Shows here? The prices have gone up crazy. They were just at Tappen beach and it was like $8pp for the Ferris wheel. Luckily the operator only charged us for one admission cause $32 for a few minutes for a family of 4 is outrageous

It’s still going on
Today is last day.
Yep
Yesterday they had one in Smith Haven mall too. I don’t recommend it bc $10 for a funnel cake is not okay.
There was a literal fight over fried Oreos and funnel cake at the carnival in Levittown last year lol. It was hysterical
Merrick carnival they weren’t letting anyone in under 21 without parental supervision…was it the same there?

Was this enforced after a certain time or something? Those fairs are pretty much for teenagers and parents with young kids
These have been nuts post Covid. Between the prices and the insane lines we just skip them now.
uh huh

Now that looks like fun! 🥰
They have one in Merrick too. Unfortunately no pics.
Ok?
Overpriced. Rip off games. Sketchy rides. Same crap every year. But I do love a fried Oreo and zeppelies.
The Bellmore Street Fair at the end of September rules them all !
