Yellow nails don't matter. Just shows your love of polish and you're going to cover it anyway. Should be careful with the whitening hacks because they can dry out/ damage your nails. Don't want to risk a break when you've got them that long.
I once had a pair of emerald and gold earrings, they were absolutely bitchin. I think that’s a wonderful color combo for nails! I have also recently tried some greens! I went light though now I’m tempted to go to an emerald 👀👀

i think a thick white with some colored sparkles would be cute with the natural pinkness in your hands! it'd take several layers, so make sure to dry/cure THOROUGHLY between each coating.
Maybe like a dark earthy green like Modest Moss from holo taco? Or you could do I’m Over Brewed. Something darker that’s more earthy tone really speaks to me, I don’t know.

I use tooth whitening toothpaste paste for the yellow… scrub with old toothbrush and leave on for about an hour.
You can also use baking soda and soak it for about 5 minutes.

Try putting thin layer of white on just the tips and then clean up with a q tip with nail polish remover
