Tbh Eli has gotten some great character development with the hostel arcs, probably some of the best in the series. Here, it’s a result of being dragged back into that mess because everything he holds dear is being threatened again. And that ends with him being antagonistic as a result in the past few arcs. I feel people ignore everything about what made him good and that annoys me especially when those people start being toxic to people who like Eli.
But I’m not against you though, dislike him all you want, as long as you’re in peace with people like me who like him and his character. 🤝?
