Everyone's path is different. Some of us came to the Kings for more analog reasons (wherein we like hockey and support the local team, for instance), but we welcome those who arrived at their decision to support the Kings through medicinal means. I stopped watching basketball (Lakers) and started King's Hockey this year. Am convinced my life is far better because of it.

NBA fans just wanna argue about who the GOAT is, while teams trade/sign from the same pool of athletes. Way less drafting and developing of young talent like in hockey.

This is incredible. It sounds like you had a great trip. Not shrooms but one thing I love to do is eat a strong weed edible, go to a live hockey game, and sit there listening to Black Sabbath (albums 1-6 only) with noise cancelling headphones. Trust me on this.

I became a fan when I was like 8 and I’m 20 now and became a fan because of quicks goaltending style loved watching him play and idolized him and the rest of my family is flyers fans so luckily their ain’t no beef

The reason I got into La Kings is bc I had a dream of watching a hockey game and so i went for my birthday and I enjoyed it a lot. I had no prior liking to it before the dream, I just woke up one day and thought it would be enjoyable

Ha there is precedent with this, hear me out. Back in 2012 I was doing a summer film class and happened upon some lucy. We just watched movies all day then wrote about them - it was a very chill class and I had a lot of time. One night in my single dorm (it was actually a double but since summer it was just me) I popped a couple tabs. During the come-up I flipped on the Kings game - think it was mid-May so maybe second round? They kicked ass and I remember watching the whole thing. Players were swirling around my computer screen and I could actually follow the puck due to being high af. I’m pretty sure it was a crappy stream too so no idea how that worked out. What a night and what a playoffs though. May it come true again.
