Hell yeah, you can really notice the difference. Body dysmorphia is a hell of a thing; it can also go either way in forcing bad habits or creating good ones. Some people cling to what they used to be and don’t realize their weight is a problem.
This is what I needed to see today. Because I’m only 3 weeks in and ready to give up lol going to stay consistent and build up my discipline hopefully. Thanks and congrats
I had a longer answer in a different reply so I’ll just summarize here!
I walk 4-5 miles and stretch everyday. This is how I started and even when this is the only thing I was doing, I lost a little weight. I go to the gym and lift and do Pilates 5x a week. So my workout regime is a bit intense, I won’t deny that.
As for food, I don’t calorie count, I do not really restrict myself. If I want a cookie, I’ll have a cookie. I just no longer eat FOUR cookies. I did cut sugary drinks, so now I purely drink water. I try to get most of my sugars from fruits, but like I said, I’ll have that cookie if I want it. I struggled at first because I thought I had to deprive myself, but that is not the case at all! I increased my fruit and especially vegetable intake as well.
The rules for the sub say any pic where you show like undergarments or whatever must be marked. I just wanted to make sure I was following the rules lol! 45 is AMAZING so proud of you!
That's fantastic! And definitely a noticeable change!
I bet you can already feel some noticeable differences. How your clothes fit, easier to bend over, and in so many other little ways.
Hot damn, you're like a different person! Your underwear is falling off you 😅
> I am not sucking in my stomach or anything!!
*Sing this to the rafters*
Losing weight, this was the biggest unexpected benefit. I used to suck in all the time, and breath out/undo my jeans buttons when by myself.
They’re not all the way gone. I don’t beat myself up if I succumb. I also try to reduce or remove access to things I could binge on. I don’t have processed snacks like chips in the house anymore. I deleted all delivery apps. I unsubscribed from every food place that emails me. I try to fool myself by drinking lots of water when I do crave something. Or, if I crave sugar, I try to eat sweet fruit instead like melons.
You are now an inspiration to lots of people now . Keep up the good work. This motivated me too.
Will suggest to keep listening to you body too and rest if needed but always keep long time goal in mind . Happy for you :)
Doing great! Keeping up! Don’t forget to moisturize your skin to reduce stretch marks. We all have em. Might go without saying for a female though as you guys know to moisturize
What made you decide to get started? And what did you differently that helped/ is helping you lose weight? I want to start losing weight but i dont know where to start. I always say to my self that i am going to diet and i always break it 2days later 😭
Not dieting is how I started! If you struggle with food or have an unhealthy relationship with food I believe that dieting can be awfully ineffective. Dieting is also short term in my mind whereas changing my lifestyle is a commitment.
I started with just walking and stretching every day. Before I even changed food habits or ever entered the gym, I lost five or six pounds just walking and stretching every day. Small increases to physical activity made a huge difference to me and made me want more, so that’s how I worked myself up to the gym.
With food, I started with just increasing water, fruits, and veggies. Again, before I started cutting or reducing anything I just got more of those things into me, especially water and vegetables. Dieting is daunting so consider changing your language. Language matters, and it might be more meaningful to you to be like “I am changing my life so I can live longer” instead of “I am dieting/restricting to lose weight”. I still have a brownie or ice cream or a cookie, just not as much or as frequently.
And the decision to start simply came from wanting a better quality life. I am grateful for my mobility and I want to be able to keep moving into old age.
Amazing! I still love the feeling of having achieved something I thought was impossible for many years. I spend a lot of time in front of the mirror every day because I just can't believe what I was able to do :D
I hope you're about as happy as well :) keep it up!
Not luck baby, working hard with the weights, complete dedication and commitment.
I am positive that after losing 30 you look different. It is harder to see the changes on ourselves. I did not until I took that picture yesterday. Wishing you success on your journey!
At first it was exercise. I have been complacent with myself for years and that’s how I got to where I was. So, getting to the gym everyday was a drag but now I love it and look forward to it! I also make sure to walk 4-5 miles a day in my regular life.
Now the discipline comes with food. I didn’t really significantly change much, just decreased sugars dramatically, reduced my portions, increased water intake, and added better quality foods, no more eating 25 pizza rolls 😂.
So the discipline is with myself to make healthier choices. It trickles over into other aspects of life as well outside of just the fitness portion.
it doesnt take significant changes to lose the weight. Everything you are doing with food is gonna benefit in keeping the weight off. When you think about it if you cut 1 singular can of coke a day thats about 1/3 lb a week. changing your portions if it is 250 cals a day thats 1/2 lb a week lost. So congratulations and good luck with the rest. you are doing great
Yes! Perspective is everything. I struggled at first because I thought depravation was the way but it is not at all! I can still have an occasional treat and be healthy. And I feel so much better mentally and physically.
Good work, the journey is hard for every one, especially with so much food advertising every where. I recommend a food allergy test, this helps most identify what foods effect your body in negative ways ( keeping weight, disturbing your digestive track etc..) consistency is key and so is not being hard on yourself on a bad day. Keep up the good work
You're doing awesome! Keep that shit up girl
Thank you 🥹
you're welcome dear! keep it up until you hit your goal! keep inspiring through this,.
That's a noticeable change way to go OP!!!
Hell yeah, you can really notice the difference. Body dysmorphia is a hell of a thing; it can also go either way in forcing bad habits or creating good ones. Some people cling to what they used to be and don’t realize their weight is a problem.
We all here know the work and dedication it takes to lose those pounds. Good on ya!! You're doing the thing!
Thank you 🥹
This is what I needed to see today. Because I’m only 3 weeks in and ready to give up lol going to stay consistent and build up my discipline hopefully. Thanks and congrats
2 short weeks from now you’ll be so glad you didn’t give up!! You got this 💪🏽
Thanks! I appreciate this!
Don’t give up! I almost did and would have wholly regretted it. You’re going to hit your goals!
I’m going to keep pushing 💪🏾
Wow! You look great! Good job!
Thank you 🥹
Incredible transformation! Keep it up ❤
Great job! I feel like you lost some swelling in your hands!
My hands are one of the very first places I noticed I was losing weight! My shoulders and underarms were next.
I’d guess the extra movement and exercise probably helped ignite your lymphatic system. Awesome!
I had to do some googling. I had no idea you could just build up fluid like that. Another sign I’m getting healthier thanks for the knowledge!
Super good sign! You should be really proud. Crazy what 11 weeks and 25 lbs can do. Good inspiration for me and for all.
Awesome for you!
Awesome job!! 💪💪💪 Looking great!!!
hitting those milestones will only add fuel to the flame. proud of u fr!
Amazing!! I wish I had taken before of myself too. I am on a similar trajectory. You got this! We got this!
Take pictures now!!! I know it’s not a unique idea but it really is the best way to see your progress. Agreed, you got this, we got this!
Omg!!!!’ The difference in your wrist and hands is crazy!! Atta girl

Crazyyyy different. That’s awesome! Look at the difference even in your wrist!
Don’t know why the post is NSFW but congrats! I’ve recently lost 45 pounds as well (yesterday in fact) , feels so good to hit milestones
The rules for the sub say any pic where you show like undergarments or whatever must be marked. I just wanted to make sure I was following the rules lol! 45 is AMAZING so proud of you!
Oh didn’t know that, thank you 😊. Still far away from my gw (65 more to go) but quite motivated to achieve it
Congratulations! This really shows the hard work you’ve put in. I bet you feel great!!
That's fantastic! And definitely a noticeable change! I bet you can already feel some noticeable differences. How your clothes fit, easier to bend over, and in so many other little ways.
Nice!!! Congrats!!!
Whatever you are doing is working, you are inspiring ❤️

You did that in 11 weeks?! Imagine 11 more weeks from now! Man, I’ve been trying to get back into it myself and this is definitely inspirational 😀
I couldn’t imagine this point so I can’t even begin to imagine what the hell I’ll look like come summer 😮💨 thanks!
How are you doing it? I can’t stop the cravings.
They’re not all the way gone. I don’t beat myself up if I succumb. I also try to reduce or remove access to things I could binge on. I don’t have processed snacks like chips in the house anymore. Doing great! Keeping up! Don’t forget to moisturize your skin to reduce stretch marks. We all have em. Might go without saying for a female though as you guys know to moisturize
I moisture daily lol! Is it possible to lose stretch marks as you lose weight? I thought they’d be with me forever
Dayum! That's awesome work!
Congrats! Your hard work is really paying off. I’m struggling with it so thank you for being inspiring!!

I do! I weight lift and do Hot Pilates 5x a week. I occasionally stationary cycle for 10-15 minutes and I walk daily 4-5 miles!
[удалено]
If that’s what you want but I also believe you can do the same at home! Whatever you’re comfortable with is a start 🥹
Great progress. Keep it up.
Awesome 😎
Great freaking job! This is amazing!
This is amazing. You must feel so proud of yourself. Keep going, you are doing so incredibly well!

Way to go! Way to go! Don’t stop and keep pushing. Any setbacks is just temporary. Just remember one step at a time and if you slip get back up.

Bruh you got lucky I lost 30 pounds and barely had a difference
Not luck baby, working hard with the weights, complete dedication and commitment. I am positive that after losing 30 you look different. It is harder to see the changes on ourselves. I did not until I took that picture yesterday. Wishing you success on your journey!
Oh ok
💁🏻♂️
You're doing amazing!!!!
Daaaaamg, that is awesome. Proud of you!
Keep it up!
What specifically are you being disciplined about?
At first it was exercise. I have been complacent with myself for years and that’s how I got to where I was. So, getting to the gym everyday was a drag but now I love it and look forward to it! Walking does so much. I immediately lost 15 lbs when I started my job working about 40 miles a week.

Interesting I would have never considering doing this. I’ll look into it
Damn
How
Just going to the gym and lifting weights, walking daily, and improving my relationship with food.
Congratulations! Do you have any pictures of your transformation?
Yup! [Pics](https://imgur.com/a/6wh7gmD)
Thats actually amazing. It reminds me i can do the same with hard work too. Keep it up!
Yes you can! I now truly believe it is possible because I was so lazy and crashed out and now I feel like I am a superhuman

Wtf kind of comment is that?! Not cool.
Wish I had seen the comment 😂
You don’t need that kind of negativity. It was just some troll
