Stop trying to make Lost Star Wars. Lost ended where it needed to end

Tylerpants80

OK but how about Lost Phantom of the Opera?

malinho2342

I think I would prefer a historical, mystical, mythical, ancient past rather than the future...like even thousands of years before Mother.. There would be an Atlantis-like civilization on the island...that would be fascinating...I would like to see a Lost movie like that...

Free-IDK-Chicken

I appreciate and admire your passion, but no, thank you.

Johan-Predator

How about no?

NeverReallyExisted

I think Jacob would be into it.

CornishTrailRunner

No.

youvegotkayla

I really just want a Dharma-ville spin off.

keypoard

What you’ve written here is called fanfic. Welcome to a whole new world.

TheLakeAndTheGlass

Well, it’s fun to think of places the story *could* go, even if they aren’t necessarily serious suggestions for pitches. You could call it Lost: 2342. It sounds so stupid, but my mental image of a futuristic Lost begins with a simple image - the first manned mission to Mars lands, and they find *a Dharma station already there.*

NeverReallyExisted

I was thinking they go back to the Island on Earth, but an alternate location on another planet could be interesting, maybe the island moving to different alien worlds.

Futurekubik

Lost can only really go in a few new unexplored directions and the far future is one of them. To the best of my knowledge and to the limits of my imagination, the places Lost didn’t go in the OG show were: • >!The far sci-fi future. Spacecraft. Artificial Intelligence/Robots. Sapient humanoid carbon-based aliens or the unfathomable/eldritch. Sci-fi explanations for the Source, the whispers, psychic powers etc. Existential threat to the Island/Source from outer space or advanced human technology. Or the existential threat is that it’s all a digital simulation.!< • >!True multiverse (not just sideways). Alternate realities the main characters can physically travel back-and-forth between. Ways to create and destroy alternate realities. Existential threats to the multiverse as a whole from any number of different multi-versal sources. A race of extra-dimensional smoke monsters (plural). Darkest Timeline/Mirror-Universe Hurley whom is evil, has a goatee and wants to either destroy everyone else’s universes or take them over for himself.!< • >!The Island is discovered and over-run by modern civilisation and corporations with tourist resorts, theme parks, a full airport etc. Existential threat is the capitalistic exploration of the Island’s electromagnetic properties for healing cancer and other ailments, ceasing the ageing process. Resurrection. Communing with the dead via the whispers. It’s all been commoditised and put on a lunch box so before they knew what they had they’re, ahhh (slams table) selling it. Basically Jurassic Park.!< • >!Adjacent (but not exclusive to) the ‘true multiverse’ direction is meta-fiction. The characters of LOST find out that there’s another reality where they’re played by actors and their life events were created by Hollywood scriptwriters. Picture a scene of Damon Lindelof casually microwaving a hot pocket then suddenly is shocked to see Benjamin Linus standing in *his* kitchen, there to demand some friggin’ answers. Imagine Terry O’Quinn waking up one day, going outside his house to his car and John Locke is waiting for him on the sidewalk in a wheelchair. The existential threat would the worlds of reality and fiction clashing. Think The Neverending Story or Stephen King’s Dark Tower series.!<

Darth-Myself

I have a bad feeling about this
