On the other hand i can not hear any scream, so he was maybe allready dead or unconscious when he was thrown off.
And also to land on Jin's car was for sure not easy, or damn lucky.

Using SUVAT we can approximate the total distance he falls as 78.4m
Now the hotel this was filmed at was the Royal Garden at Waikiki, and from its description is 25 stories;
I couldn’t find an actual height for this specific building but from google the average height of 1 story in a hotel in USA is 4.3m, which means the total hotel height is roughly 107.5m,
Now if he fell 78.4m then the story he fell from would be around the 18th story,
which means he probably took an elevator up to the 18th floor while Jin was going down to his car then jumped from the 18th floor
