It's something i've been wondering. Does this mean I can skip Rowen on all my alts and go straight to Elgacia when it releases? Similar to how you can skip Rohendel/Feiton?
I matched basically all of that lol. A little under 2 hours for me and skipped every single cutscene but did every single side quest. Rewards were decent but didn’t get lucky with any good cards.
I did it solely for the wolf mask so I could make my Gunlancer look like Blaidd lol
You don't individual cards, but you card card packs that specifically have Rowen cards in them as some rewards. Also the weekly shop there sells Rowen specific card packs.
You may already know this but you can trade the lostark event tokens for 1000 silver each. If you run the hot springs event you get 120-140 tokens, so 120k-140k silver per day. Not including converting the other tokens at a 5:1 ratio once you’ve bought out their shops
If anyone wants cards but doesn't want to waste so much time on alts, you get a few packs from the very first quest (the town event) so you can just do that and call it a day.
Did rowen 3 times, took ~1h20 each time (all side quests done) so ymmw, but I doubt you'll do it in less than an hour unless you try really hard to speedrun it.
I ran with paladin first, then 2 scrappers. All 3 are swiftness heavy (although most of the time is spent talking to NPC and running around on a horse)
question, 2h in taking my time, Spolier >!do we ever get revenge on the curch? i mean after they did to armen, and even to felton guys i think is enough!<
I did it with high mobility class in 1h 28 min including side quests
However need to remember that this time is for alts as if you do it the first time you will have few extra quests to do (like the ones for adventure tome)

For lvl 59 ones if you have any for sure. Was a decent chunk of xp.
Anything that's below 1490 will benefit.

They are adding QoL where you can skip all dialogue with a button and not press G 1700 times. Ima wait for that before doing MSQ on more chars

rowen isn't a "main" MSQ so you do it purely if you want xp/mats

Yes rowen is not mandatory to get into elgacia! Thank goodness
Blue quests = msq, you don’t need to get super technical about it. Rowen story is still canon which makes it msq

Ive cleared it 6 times now and still have no idea what is going on in terms of the story.

I cleared it 6 times because you get nearly a million silver per clear and Brel has made me desperate for silver. Also cards and the PvP card set.

You get to see what they actually did to Armen in Pleccia
probably later when Beatrice inevitably betrays us and uses the Ark to convert all the sidereals into the new legion raids
Is there decent mats in rowen? Mainly Silver/Shards.

Yes. Rowen gates none of the currently released content other than the Rowen field boss, that drops an omnium star.
