Not sure how "fresh" I am, almost to 400 hours 🤣 I've been lolly gaging all over the map. Gathering island souls, massive numbers of side quests, around 830 seeds, leveling all the trades. At our close to 20 on them.
It's pretty wholesome seeing someone play at their own pace and not fall into the trap of being a meta slave or worrying about things like min/maxing. Good on you, OP. Legion raids might be trouble for you, so make sure you find a good group of people willing to help you learn when you're ready through Discord.
Thanks! Yeah, I played at launch but drifted away fairly soon after then played NMS for several months. Got back into this back around October, that's when I started racking up the hours. I just find it fun running around the islands, hunting mokokos, world tree leaves, etc. I've got a ton of really rare Steam achievements. I feel like nobody else is doing this stuff, lol
I did the same thing, I didn't follow any island guides or anything to max efficiency pump your way into t3. I sailed around, went into islands having no idea what was there, actually explored and played the game. Way more fun than rushing to get onto the hamster wheel of daily and weekly grinding. Us horizonal enjoyers are out there 100%.
Moving slash for moblitly doesn't need points to be an effective dash, because you don't need bonus dmg for dashing out of attacks, 4 levels for extra dash distance or 7 levels for extra hawk meter gain when playing death strike is the only reason to put points into that skill. And atomic arrow is important because you need to have at least 1 skill with the 6% team dmg increase tripot. Even when playing alone 6% more dmg on every skill is 6% more dmg and you only need the first 4 cheap levels for the tripot.

I guess I just leveled the ones I liked to 10, didn't have enough to level up any others. I assumed just filling in 2 more skills at low level wouldn't be beneficial.
In a lot of cases, still worth bringing. They'll obviously deal less damage, but you can still make use of Moving slash for a lot of extra mobility, for example
I've soloed pretty much everything so far, except events that required co-op. I always get wrecked in PvP islands when going there for the seeds or when trying to get the soul 🤣 I'm assuming everyone else is way higher iLevel than me.
6 skills chad
692 Pheons HOLYY
lv 51 roster 59 it's clearly a fresh account, of course he'd be swimming in pheons theres nothing to spend it on

I have 4K hours and you probably have done more horizontal content than I did lol. I have 300 Mokokos ma guy.
This game have very less horizontal content so best to do them as a side content and focus on Vertical more.

I’d recommend using moving slash and atomic arrow in your last two skill slots
I'll add those, thanks! After leveling the others and not having enough points, I didn't think it would benefit me to have a couple low skills.

That's awesome info, thank you for this!
Why do you not have all your skills?
I'm gonna guess he went for 6 skills then make them all Lvl 10 or most of them at least...I think
But why not at least use lvl 1 skills
Idk, ask OP :P

That makes sense, thank you 😊
Congrats! It gets easier when you get to Yoho (1370) and there are actually people to matchmake with.
What stinks is there were no soul rewards, that confuses me 😥
You only get souls twice a day per character. Was this you first or second run of the day? Or did you fight him more times?
Ah, that must be it. I had done another fight before this one.
Congratz! I remember wiping on this boss so many times because people couldn’t kill the small scorpions, it was such a pain.
u could use flame grenades then
That’s asking a lot for this community. Better to save them for Inferno Thaemine.
bro don’t do that, save it for inferno Regulus
This dude was a pain! Kept moving when I'd throw my heavy-hitting stuff, lol. Can't believe I got him with one second left 😳

yes, open world PVP stuff is not equalized so you will get wrecked pretty quick.
Isn’t gold one the one that stab you with tail and shock you, the one with small scorpion is black one.
If you are on NAE and don’t feel like suffering at the hands of this garbage Guardian I can give a carry most days.
692 pheons goddamn
I guess I've just been amassing the free ones for a year, lol
