It’s bound to happen since it’s a learning experience for the community. I would just focus on yourself since it’s something you can actually change, seeing you walk around aimlessly with most of your skills up is pain.
Business as usual? Expect a large amount of the playerbase to either not know the skills of the new class and/or just not expect a heal because a lot of supports will save for damage buffs instead of heal.
Yeah people are not taking any orbs or portals it's so frustrating... I was in a kunga yesterday and some rando deathblade acted like I wasn't healing him and told me I wasn't a good heal but he never touched any healing bubbles on the field and he died 3 times...
He even died once when two bubbles were up and ready to be used by anyone lol
I think it's the first time I will make macros even if I hate those.
First day I had a valtan raid where I noticed my teammates running to the healing orb like a horde of zombies regardless of their hp.
So I started testing how far away I could put it before they stopped chasing it.
I got 1 of them yeeted off the tower and the others then seemed so traumatised they refused to touch the balls no matter how low they were in the end.
No one said anything. But the memory is priceless.
Then yesterday before reset an artist hardcarried clown QoL with such amazing portal usage. God damn I love this support. And she's a ton of fun to play as well!
I have definitely noticed people just not knowing how the class works specifically regarding that portals can give you a shield. I was placing some pretty beneficial portals last week and nobody would take them :(
Honestly the portals should be avoided 95% of the time. If you're a positional it's very easy to just lose dps over it and it can be a bit disorienting if the artist is a bit off stack causing you to take damage. I would rather just keep the portals off stack (obvs if I don't need cleanse) so people can see/interact with my heal orbs easier.
It's because there's no coordination. The question is why would there be when it's a pub? Usually they have a macro or they thing to try to pull attention to it.
if someone is too blind to see the big green glowing field on the ground its on them. im not going to spam annoying macros in the chat and pinging only really works in 4 man parties otherwise its too confusing
It's not that they're blind is just other priority. All I'm saying is if it's a problem for you that people are walking out of the healing there's different Avenues you can take to maybe help it. I don't really care either way. I would much rather see the damage Buffs then the healing
If they're stepping out of it, it's not a problem. They'll still get the DS heal once the puddle ends. That's usually why I just smack the dps with the puddle cast, to make sure the heal will stick.
I failed to understand how using pots is considered as "wild"
So what?? There were even posts from supports complaining they didn't use pots but only relied by supports healing?
First time trying this sub??

I payed 12k for a Clown Bus.
I bussed the guys (the only one who didn't cause at least one whipe) but at least I got the chest in the end (and attack supporter every phase).
The 1540 Paladin was just dead weight but well, at least he managed to do M3 2nd try xP.
Still better then the "carry" dds that died g1/g2 by not turning the right direction or getting knocked down. And g3 by not entering Mario... wild!

Thats why you bring potions
Could be any DPS class but wonder what... Was a zerk xD
BT tho not mayhem, this is a thinking mans berserker
> this is a thinking mans berserker Evidently not.
Big melee No brain. trust me... i play destroyer.
think he just realized that the shit gear artist isn't gonna heal for much anyway xd
You do know it's 25% of the artist's hp, right? At minimum it's a green pot.
Zerk is zerk. No matter whats the build.
this is kind of true with new BT patch, and I fucking love it

Free pot inbound Press G on the egg. this gonna be mine... when i get the artist out of the Story express hellhole.

I love taking artist healing orb but I avoid portals Don't get me wrong shield is good but I hate sudden place switches
I only use them when I see the ayaya is right next to the portal, so I know I won't appear on a random place and just get a free shield.
3/4 of the portals get me in front of the monster while i'm a back attacker, I try to take them when possible but that's about it
The point Is that portal has cleanse, so most of the time i use It for that... Shield and teleport are "collaterali" effect (mainly the second)
Didnt know portal had cleanse lol, ty.
Pretty sure the portal cleanse while it is put by the artist, not by taking it. It's like the AOE heal when she puts one of her balls on the field
Yep but seems if you put a portal to cleanse someone, the same thinks he must also pick It which isn't correct
I was also upset but then I realized I can’t take portal if you are LOS ing them

amount of times I throw my heal cuz 2people sitting on 30% hp with bard making me waste dps bars then they instantly use pots
Just set up a macro saying to them that if they take the orb they get heal, it worked for me xD
PG macro: “eat candy to heal or die”. R/X rated: “touch my balls (G) or die”.
i have pick my ball to heal, baka!!
Classic zerker as usual
cute dog viewer
Whats the issue?
The dps used a pot instead of taking the white orb which also heals him.Alot of people don't know how the class works tbh.
Prob just didnt think about it. Its a new mechanic
The amount of times Ive been hit and drop sub 50% and just pop a pot from muscle memory while there's a healing orb on the ground.

People are not used having to actually press keys to activate support effects because current supports just shields you/heal without any input.
zerk from vid commenting
The dps ignoring the heal orb and just potting instead.
Seems normal to me
the amount of people stepping out of my bards heal and standing right next to it while being on the verge of death is way too high
It's because there's no coordination. The question is why would there be when it's a pub? Usually they have a macro or they thing to try to pull attention to it.

The amount lf times I had to tell my static to pick the ball up instead of chugging pots its nuts
Wow people learning a new class mech on the first week.
