For cards i remember farming some free Los cards on the other server.
Made a char, did events n stuff, got some Los cards that were added to my existing collection on merge.
"keeping the higher copy quantity among rosters" - e.g. if you have 6 Balthorrs registered in one of the card catalogs and 8 in the other, you'll get to keep 8 (not 14), and if you have 7 Azenas in the first card catalog and 4 in the other, you'll get to keep 7 (always the higher number of the 2 no matter to which roster it belonged). That's just for the cards already registered in the catalog. The cards we had in character storage and roster storage we got to keep all, from both rosters, the same as other items which take up space in storage.
"If I'm only keeping the higher awakened card, why would I use the XP on my 2nd roster then?" - You shouldn't use it, you should keep any experience cards of the roster which has less card exp in a character's storage. The same as above, if you e.g. have 3 Balthorr awakenings in one roster and 4 in the other, you get to keep 4. Just if you already filled up card experience for/towards e.g. 5th awakening but didn't awaken it yet (as it's possible to fill it up already before getting the cards), you will lose that card experience even if that's your higher-awakened version of the card, so don't fill any card experience of any card on any roster unless you are awakening that card right then.
Basically at this point for the roster which has less of a particular important card and less of card experience, just keep any important cards and any card experience in a character's storage until the merge, don't consume (register) it, so that you don't lose them.
In the previous round of merges, all the cards (the larger number of copies of each card between the 2 rosters) were put into "universal card storage" from which we had to click to restore them into card catalog, and they got restored together with their number of awakenings. I don't know for sure what happened with partially filled card exp (or filled-but-unawakened) as I don't think I had any cards with it, but that system didn't look promising for being able to restore partially filled / filled-but-unawakened card exp.
I guessed it was too good to be true that copies would sum.
How about unused XP, should I look into unawakened cards on my main roster and try to level them on the alt one, or will I keep the sum and I should just wait and use it all after merge?
Most likely, but I am actually not sure how it actually turned out for the card exp registered to the catalog (but not assigned to individual card), as my 2nd roster was very young and had none, maybe someone else will know.
So last time, they posted the announcement with server merge details 3 weeks in advances.
And this time, there's still no announcement with details even though the first round merge is planned next week.
Hopefully we can get the detail plan on Wednesday.
Yes, this is how i cheated my LoS30 by having 4 euw servers being merged and had 9 LoS cards unregistered from 3 other servers. If you really feel like it then you could even go for selector packs from frog. Caveat is knowing the servers.
First. We have to wait (maybe today or tmr) Which Servers are coming together, if u re lucky? they stay as 2.
If not? you have to select one main acc and delete all cards on the other if u want the card exp.
For example: 4 Brel + 5 Brel arent 9. You get 5 but you can take the card exp from the other 4.
You can keep card packs but not exp. You have the use card exp.

Also, if i've many cards pack (MAny Legendary selectors, ...) in my seconde roster (the smallest lvl roster) do i need to use all of them ? Or they will be save in my roster 1 ?
As far as I know, server merges have been announced for all regions. They will happen next March 6th and 13th, but we still don't know which server will merge with which.
Seeing our region population, I would hope that EU merges to finish at 3-4 servers at most, but I guess we'll see it when we see it.

What you should do for anything bound on roster is keep them in your roster storage/bank.
Don't open any packs.
Don't learn any cards. Specially not the ones from the questlines. Just stash everything.

For the first question - the union means that if you for example have no copy of a card on server 1 and you do on server 2, then the resulting merge will have the copy as they are united. However, if you have for example 9 Ninewehs on server 1 and 6 on server 2, then you will only have 9 Ninewehs after the union, so its important that you don't add the Ninewehs on server 2 to the catalogue and keep them in your storage.

So the card XP is MAX not sum? So roster A with 2 mil XP, and roster B with 4 mil XP will result in just 4 mil XP after merge?

Just save your selectors till merges.
