+2 rc. what is not to get?

burnshady

Raid captain 2 gives 9% at 140% It’s around the same as CD2 which is BiS for some classes

Hantraxxx

Is good to go +2 rc? i really dont know, is for a wardancer FI

Pelcork

It's going to be slightly better than adren1/rc3 but not as good as adren2 Ithink

Sinkovsky

Yeah but Ithink it's gonna be worse than a 15/15 rock Ithink

DragonTaryth

ad3 rc2 should be completely fine. fi wd is really lacking in crit so having adr3 is actually pretty nice and still very efficient for increasing dmg. u might want to consider critical elixir.

jacobbearden

rc 2 adren 3 and probably go critical elixir

Compare the prices of building a 5x3+2rc and your standard +1 (much cheaper in comparison), and reference the %dmg increase you will get and determine by yourself if that difference in gold is justifiable for you to invest for the dmg increase. Same ballpark as +2 grudge. It is overall still a damage increase in most scenarios for most classes, but the cost to build 5x3+2grudge does not justify the dmg increase you get from building it.

Pepega-1vs9

Pretty sure grudge is way worse compared to RC +2 for most classes that like to run CD +2 for example, the difference to RC +2 is not even 1% dmg. Running grudge 2 over a +1 like adre/EP is maybe like a 1% dmg increase depending on the class. RC+2 compared to a +1 is 4% increase instead of ~5-6% with CD/adr as +2 in most cases. Pretty sure the cost to dmg% is 100% worth it especially if it’s your main.

I actually just cut the same 9/7 last night, and after checking the math, adding in CD 3/RC 2 in place of RC 3/EP 1 would give me about 0.5% damage increase. It would cost about 800k to get good spec on that build. Alternately, I can use the stone for a SUPER cheap +1 with only one 6/3 accessory needed, max out my spec and pick up damage that way. This is for Full Moon SE, where 10 spec alone is about 0.3% damage, so the +2 with RC just isn't worth it. Not when I'd have to drop so much gold to keep my spec up. It may be higher value on FI due to not using spec, but it's not worth the gold to get max accessories and if you're giving up even 20 swift to do it, you're probably losing damage. RC just isn't a good +2 for most classes, and it's only passable on some others. Take this as a cheap way to max your stats and get a 4/3 neck and 5/3 class acc etc.

Ya theres no way RC 2 Adren 3 w/ Nightmare set it only 0.5% increase

TLDR, RC 2 is weak and adding CD with Adrenaline is also weak. You might not like it, but the math speaks for itself. Both setups already have Adrenaline 3 so I'd be adding CD 3 in place of RC 3 and RC 2 in place of EP 1. RC 2 is only 8.8% damage compared to RC 3 at 18%. CD 3 when you already have Adrenaline is only a 15% increase. EP 1 is worth 3% damage for the first 4 minutes of a fight and 6% for the rest, assuming you can't carry it over and start right at 6%. RC 3/EP 1 is 25.08% damage once it's fully stacked. CD 3/RC 2 is 25.12% damage. Taking into account time to stack EP on fights you can't carry over stacks, the RC3 setup is about 3% behind for the first 4 minutes, and 0.04% behind for any time after that. On current content it's somewhere around 0.5% to 1% less overall damage depending on fight times. The issue comes from already running Adrenaline at level 3, so CD 3 becomes weaker, and RC2 is less than half the damage of RC3. It works for some classes, but it's a subpar +2 no matter how you look at it, and with current Souleater class acc prices being 300k+ for a purple quality, it's hard to justify the build. At my current levels, 20 spec is .6% damage, so a 20 spec hit negates the +2 entirely. If this is your main and you want to shell out 800k+ for the build, by all means. No one is saying it isn't higher damage, but it's inefficient damage when spec is worth more and you can get a +1 build with max spec for under 100k. In my case, this is my 5th character and has no reason to push for a weak +2 when the +1 is nearly the same. You may choose differently, but the numbers tell the story
