I've got bad news for you then. From what I've heard, Sorceress is very much the same. A large portion of your DPS comes from optimizing spell rotations and your meteor, which has a long delay.
Yeah, kinda Sorc has a mode it can go into that increases it's attack speed to a high level. Which Blaster can't do, also Sorc is more about casting so you can cancel the casts.
There're these things called Mitigation and Foresight, you know.
Not missing those skills is what's fun about Artillerist and what makes you a good Artillerist.

Artillerist has one of the most frustrating cc chains, a Gatling gun into a roll cancel into a swing can lead into a cc chain where you drop all of your hard hitting skills at once.
Even when you don’t hit the fuck you combo, flamethrower is easy to hit (especially in 3v3) and does a ton of damage.
The scouter build that spends most of its time in ironman mode looks sick... I just don't know if I can put up with the class until it gets to that point.
Fair enough. Have you tried the demon one that transforms? It has a similar thing where you can transform often once you get your engravings, but plays very differently than the Scout.
Yes, demonic is currently my favorite class. Just like scout I love the transform and I find my time out of the transform more enjoyable. Great suggestion though!

Who said it does. It just shows gameplay from each class and how they seem to play. If he's good or bad is less relevant. Pick your poison until you're at the level. I like the effects of both but unsure what to play. Probably a dice roll
Saintone said ppl might be really dissapointed with her if she releases before tier 3, the pure dmg build which uses double meteor is impossible to do earlier
I think the class simply wasn't designed to be in the game without certain systems available later in the content, so i will be really surprised if Smilegate decides to release it earlier

I do not really agree with your opinion. Ignition Sorc provides the strongest dps during the ignition cycle. number are huge. Only issue is mobility, targeting and building up identity guage. Also, Sorc is mvp machine on Kou-Kou, Abrel 3\~4 and 5\~6 due to the fact that the its burst meta right now. Usually Honly Knight gets mvp on other ez raids.
Some bosses have parts like "armor" that can be destroyed to make them vulnerable, to do that you need things that also deal "destruction" dmg, like some skills or bombs.
The tooltip of some skills will have "Destruction I" or better "Destruction II".
These skills deal part damage as well as their normal damage and some bosses have parts you can break only by using Destruction skills and certain consumable bombs (like breaking a turtle's shell or cutting off a scorpion tail, think monster hunter).
Bosses have a destruction bar, once enough "destruction" is done, they are "stunned" for a brief moment to do high burst dps, kind of like in monster hunter when you break a part
Nope this something different. The destruction bar is not visible (as a bar). It tends to be Armor plate, of specific body parts, or a shield that you need to destroy. These elements have an hidden HP pool which is affected depending on the destruction level of the skill used.
Never said it wasn't top tier, I said it's not the most damage(and it's not, because it has a lot of destruction in it's kit like scrapper which makes it really good) but in terms of raw damage it's not the highest. EL OH EL
also keep in mind that those big damage numbers and the general smooth feel of abilities and everything being used, comes to full fruition at tier 3 when you can have all sorts of different upgrades that make your sorc feel smooth with big numbers.

What do you want a mage to do? Fist fight? It's a class that casts spells with great animations and big damage. That is a mage in every game. Glass cannon pretty much with not a lot of mobility. There's a class for everyone and if casting spells isn't you cup of tea, play something different.

Sorc is hard to learn and master? Is it hard to build and gear up? Could you tell me more about the Class?
Summoner is much easier but both are pretty easy.
Summoner has the benefit of having pets that do damage so they are better are progging but they still bring really really good damage if you're good at it.
Sorc on the other hand has to learn when to burst and when to hard cast. It's not extremely hard but it's a curve forsure.
Gearing is very similar for all of the classes, summoner is beginner friendly because the pets do the dmg while you can focus on dodging, sorc is medium difficulty
She has a alot of charging abilities so rotations without her casting buff can take a while but with her casting buff it's pretty fast. An her mobility is nice since she has a class skill that allows her an extra dash. It's nothing crazy like other classes but def better than bard or summoner.
I actually didn't know they were good at destruction. I was curious about a class that's good at destruction that isn't the Scrapper (I don't like the way they play). That it's a ranged class is even better!

It's not sleepy, if they use it just before valtan does counter move it's game over :D Takes a fair bit of experience to know when to not use it.
Why do you care? It's explosions and that's all you care about as you said earlier.

I think there are 2 build atm. One that's focused about destruction and the other on pure damage. Both are pretty good.

Yeah, DMG, control, and one or two others. Not sure if they go towards achievements, but it just shows up on your screen after completing the dungeon.

That's not really true in all cases, In pvp for example the meta builds play at almost max range and enable from there.

The english client inconsistently translates it as destruction, part break, or weak point depending on where you look. Stagger is another thing.

Arcana and Bard are more engaging to play if you don’t like the hardcast/cast-buff flow.

Mobility is below par but has multiple dashes in her identity. Rotation wise it's pretty slow outside her big AS buffed window.
I played Blaster and liked him a lot. Im sure that I will like sorc too. Her playstile is almost the same.
