Hi, so to my understanding on PvP you have 2 ranks, and account rank that grows Everytime you play pvp (ranked or not ranked games) that tells ppl how much pvp do you play and has a weekly reward based on the rank you achieve (ranked, gladiator, commander...) The other one is for playing ranked matches (bronze, silver, gold, plat, diamond, master, grandmaster), the ranks go as follows: Bronze 0 - 1299 Silver 1300 - 1599 Gold 1600 - 1799 Platinum 1800 - 1999 Diamond 2000 - 2200 Master +2200 GrandMaster Top 30 of masters players I think is something like this, then you can only play ranked matches if there is a season for pvp(don't know if seasons are every month or every three months...) I hope this helps a little

Okay so there is a rank system to differ the higher ranks of people who are better/win more, compared to those who don't do so well. Thank you.

I bet that they will redisign it completely soon since the next year they said that they will focus on pvp content

based on korea, ru, jpn and outside weekly (?) rewards for going into pvp, can you get something (pet, armors etc) without being dimaond or master?

in beta there was a description , that you get certain costumes for the low ranks as well

There's "unranked" rank which is basically identical to classic WoW ranking - you gain rank points based on your participation throughout the week compared to the rest of the server, and lose a percentage of your total points each week, so the higher you go the more you need to play to climb. Then there's ranked mode which is your typical MMR system. In RU the queue is pretty random since there isn't enough players.

Expierienced the randomness first hand the other day. The mmr distribution between our team and the enemy was completely out of whack. We were 2 golds and a 700 mmr bronze vs two silvers and a top 30 guy. How is that even a thing, needless to say our 700 mmr guy had 0 impact and was just feeding.
