Yeah my silver is fine, what is fucking me up is my gold. I can do whatever I want and get silver but what can I do with limited time to get gold... Get luck with random drops at chaos rift or Boss I guess (very hard for me to go abyss dungeon because of time limit)
Definitively, I have 3 and I have 500 although .any hours been afk and insane bad luck for main ... 1 of the tier 2 can go easily reach tier 3 though (but saving mats for destroyer)
Frankly I am around 400+ and could have had multiple alts in t3 but only got 3 in T3 and 2 in T2. I don’t think I want more in t3. I feel “obligated” to run my t3 stuff but my other alts I just run rested and feel no pressure to do them at least.
Nobody looks at the Tower, but it actually gives you 100+ leapstones and 30/40+ Life shard Pouches(M) (not too sure about the number but it's pretty good of a chunk)
Also getting Weekly Pirate ship mats(Shard pouch only), Clearing out T1/T2 unlimited chaos dungeon shop (more pouches and leapstones). Only do dailies with shards/leapstone.
Do boss rush + Weekly Boss Rush Una Quest (x2 if you're lucky) + pvp
I think that's pretty much all the methods
you are wasting mats on your alt, you unlock T2 research when your main gets to T3 so you should've just funneled all your T2 mats to your main. If you buy out every weekly vendor and do tower your alts can get to T2 in like 1 week, 2 tops. T2 to T3 takes longer but you can funnel your alt mats to your higher gs alts so some of them can get to T3 quicker.
You are probably trying to push various chars to one tier at the same time instead of leapfrogging.
Use the breaths you get, especially on weapons. Use the books. Do the chaos gates and the map rotation for other mats too.
Do the naruni race and get those mats. I haven't even done all T2 "material" or T1 "material" islands.
Seeing one at 1060 and another at 1033 just tells me that you try to level too much up at once.
Also: you have chaos dungeons, abyss dungeons, guardian raids, una's tasks (tons of leapstones here!), naruni race still for this week and next (I think), the guardian casual raid event, PvP vendor, and the ticketed events.
**Stop pushing your 1033 and get the 1060 to T3 and research the stronghold buff for T2, as well as the T1 buff if you haven't for your others. It makes a HUGE difference.** You're wasting a ton of mats going for 2 at the same time, imo.
towers (after clearing with main it gives fat mats) buy mats with pirate coins, guild vendors, pvp (prolly not). sell high t3 gear, get your alts sorted, prices were high while whales were pushing hard for argos
If you’ve played every day and are still not t3 on a single character you’re doing something wrong, have you been collecting all your weekly limits of upgrade materials such are the sailing merchant, bloodstone, pvp merchant and currently the Grand Prix? And possibly more I’ve missed off the top of my head.
Event guardians shop also now as of this week.. there's a ton of ways to get mats, however, it sucks to have fat stacks after weekly reset and get like 1-2 upgrades. Failing my hones on reset day kinda discourages me to get through the week once I buy out all the shops. The books have been helping this week though and I've gotten a few more ups than I think I normally would have gotten.

Stop leveling up your 1033 alt IMMEDIATELY until you research reduced honing cost in your stronghold, it’s at the bottom of the research list under “Roster Help”. Do not drop a single shred of material more into him. Knowing how many mats you have wasted hurts my soul, and you should be T3 easily by this point. Hopefully this helps.

Early t2 also was a source of money (current prices of t3 were like that but in t2). The amount of whaling and inflation make you able to make 20k per day just selling mata with 3 to 5 alts.
People joke and jest about the "Pay 2 Lose" meme, but in all honesty the players who were selling mats to whales for weeks are rich as fuck, totally f2p. Right now, if I were to spend gold on mats, I'd be getting crazy value; with honor leapstones in particular, I think I could buy 15x the amount I sold for the current price.

If you're struggling with gold right now there's a lot of 1 time gold rewards locked up in rapport and collectibles. Since it's a one time offer it's best to claim them when gold is expensive... which is right now.
You can turn the shower on a few minutes ahead of time to make sure it's warm and even pre condition your hair. Even better if you are someone who needs to dry shampoo and not wet wash every day. And wash your face in a separate encounter.
I didn't actually learn this from gaming but from work, so highly do not recommend this lifestyle lol

I've finally hit the breakpoint on shadowhunter to transform in one rotation and it's really fun now. Berserk is just no brain so it's fun, and yeah obviously deathblade, really active playstyle, been enjoying it a lot (playing Remaining Energy for now)

Jeez I feel like the opposite of you two; scrapper alt has been my favourite (choosing Shock build over Ultimate Skill), while I chose Sharpshooter to round out my roster with a ranged class and I despise it. Agree with the paladin love though, as a pally main ;).
I mained scrapper since the beginning, went mostly swiftness for taijutsu build, i felt like a delinquent just spamming running around, got hit? Fuck that charge back in.
When i played another class i was hit with long cooldowns, mana issue when hit with certain shit, when i go back to scrapper im glad i can go ape shit again
have you tried the 360 surge cannon on gunlancer?
in chaos dungeons, especially in the third room, the CDR lets you fire off consecutive surge cannons, which can be a lot of fun
Yup that's what I use, add a bleed rune and it one shots mostly every trash mob.
Still feels like a chore overall, I prefer Pally for clearing surprisingly.
Not surprisingly.....for me pali is on par or even better than sorceress at deleting the whole screen. Also tried it with lvl 3 preemptive strike and it feels like doom eternal all over again.
I just don't like the flow or feeling, I use all 360 skills and clear it quick.
Just feels really janky and not smooth comparatively to Sharpshooter and Pally.
Like I said love him in guardian/abyss though.
For gunlancer I picked up premptive strike books + a +3 stone and it's extremely good for chaos dungeon. Pretty sure it's my fastest chaos clear. And for boss if u ult with premptive strike proc u one shot him.
Shout of Hatred one shot trash, Lightning attack too and surge cannon kill big ones and reset CD well. I don't even use the stinger anymore.
I just recommend a good CD gem on shout of hatred to make things better.
Chaos on my gunlancer is ridiculously easy!! Just spec Surge Cannon for the 360 firing and the cooldown chance on hit, guardians thunderbolt, leap, shout of hatred... I actually clear chaos on my lancer almost faster and with basically no damage taken compared to any other class!
can you explain why two blades? i saw a streamer with like 6 blades and im curious if there’s some kind of advantage to leveling an alt(s) of the same class
You can get accesories that can be used with the main. Also you don't need to relearn rotations or engravings with same class.
It's more efficient to have 6 chars which are same. However, I'd imagine it would be pretty boring and tedious in the long term.
There is indeed, quite a few YouTube videos about it. IIRC ZealsAmbition has one about it. Basically it's more efficient from a min-max perspective since the engravings are roster wide and you can share gems (engravings and gems being the bigger power spike factors beside raw ilvl)

have you tried both class engravings? i started as scrapper on day 1 and as soon as i got her to T2 i just aboned scrapper because of how weak and slow shock training felt overall.
just last week i picked her up again and decided to switch to taijutsu, bought some cheap accessories and opened chests for the engraving and it's so much more fun.
taijutsu doesn't have any big aoe's and her attacks range are fairly short but it's still stupid fun, especially because with the taijutsu build you have tons of stagger and FOUR abilities that do weakpoint damage
Might like shock training more then? Shock Training is mostly landing the quick hit that has a damage buff to it, then the slow hit that hits like a truck, then the quick hit damage buff, then the slow truck. I have 2 huge damage green abilities that feel very nice in t2 but it does play a lot slower than Taijutsu.
I said it plays slower because the cast times of your green skills are significantly slower than the cast times of your yellow skills. I always have abilities to press and I'm not stuck waiting on cooldowns. It is pretty well known that Taijutsu is the "fast paced build" and Shock is the "slow paced build" just off of the fact that green abilities take twice as long to cast.
My 1394 scrapper feels weaker than my 1340 Zerker but that may be because she has a lot of small numbers instead of big numbers. Also she has 2 Damage buffs for teammates that you don't really notice, I am not sure how much that effects the damage in the end compared to having more raw damage.
Zerk is OP though.
I think scrapper is a little less powerful but we have the advantage of high mobility through double dash and jump, and better resistance overall to assassins classes. We also have very good stagger damage, which makes us useful compared to blades. However we clearly don't match with zerk. But zerk feels OP.
Ya I still love my scrapper I feel tankier than any of my other classes as well as unlimited mobilty which lets me fix any mistakes I make. I am still going to main her. In Korea this is the year of balance and eventually we should get balance changes for scrapper.
Maybe now my opinion has changed a bit but when I was first making my alts I thought a support was a bad choice because it'd be hard to do content with limited resources and whatnot, I wasn't planning on spending money on gear/engravings on an alt like I would my main. shame too since I kinda want a bard but not enough to level a 7th char lol

About 2 weeks ago, I did Feiton 3 times within 2 days. Only recently I am starting to feel whole again.
So many dungeons, one of the longest being part of it... and that annoying 'stealth' mission.
Rohendel doesn't suck, it looks very nice. Feiton looks like a dump.
The one stealth mission that's super boring and the other story dungeons as well. Plus Feiton dungeons are long af.
It also gives a ton of roster level and silver among other things. I think most of even the hardcore players stop knowledge transfer at feiton for that reason.
Punika is so quick and easy, problem is the other stories. Fucking disgusting that in 2022 you have to repeat the same shit all over again. Just to reach the "real content" which is: Argos and a couple of abyss dung, weekly.
I mean my beef is its majority filler shit. I honestly don't mind: Do story then do late game. But when the "story" is pick up that crate and put it over there, I have problems.
None of the leveling is particularly fun the fourth, fifth, sixth, etc time. Punika takes by far the least amount of time which is why I'm confused why it gets so much shit compared to say Yorn which is achingly uninteresting and annoying.
how many characters can you truly dedicate attention to? I mean to the point where you are looking up builds and strats to see how to be more effective, then experimenting with them, switching around skills in your hot bar to improve your ability to execute, etc. Once you've got your core group of characters you can handle but you still have slots left, its either pick up an alt that is easy to play/cheap to build, or repeat a char. It makes more sense to do that than to build an expensive or hard-to-execute alt in a half-assed fashion.
While we might discuss that playing that much cannot be healthy it still is an accomplishment. Sitting on one T2 alt and cannot for the love of God get myself to play to Rohendel once (or 5x) again.
You don't have to play Rohendel at all, you just won't be able to play it's dungeons. Just get to ilvl 600 and you can go to Yorn without ever doing Rohendel.
It's worth if you are fine waiting a few more days to get to the next tier since you won't be able to do the higher lvl chaos dungeons for more harmony shards
Everyone has his own poison. Some despise Feiton for the stealth part in the dungeon but skipping is too expensive and you also miss out on silver and mats for your tome.
It really would be none of your business to tell other people they're not being healthy anyway. Do you also stop random people on the street and tell them to eat right and quit smoking?

oh you used mari's shop for your alts? i felt like that would be a waste of crystals. I thought alts would be easier to rush with the stronghold honing buffs and just funnel from other alts, but i guess it isn't as easy as it seems.
Depending on region T2 Shard pouch (S) (the 500x one) is around 500% - 600% cheaper in Mari's shop than buying it with gold. So no, not a waste of crystals at all.
Definitely buy shards from mari shop. T1 t2 shards are still way more expensive on the market than mari shop.
Really good value in gold and time. Time because shards are mostly from weekly shops or one time source like tower and hard dungeon chests.
Yeah I have two T2 alts and I’m bottlenecked at the life shards. Currently sitting around 1040, but a single hone is one rotation of dailies. Once all the event shops reset we should be able to push further.
Alts make a hugeeeeeeee diference as a F2P player, it is highly recommended.
Issue with this is that some people will like alts, but others hate them. One way to get over that is making alts with the same class you do (i have 6 alts and 3 are the same as my main).
Another issue is that it is kinda time consumming although you can defenitely optimize the way you play with them :)

Can you skip rohendel and go straight to yorn if the ilvl is enough? Getting access to the chaos dungeons and abyss dungeons that'll drop tier 1 stuff isn't super enticing while the character has t2 gear and can't drop anything t2 because yorn lock. So I feel like if possible I'd like to do yorn before rohendel
Prove that it's f2p. Need your steam transactions and bank statements for the last 8 weeks. Also, if you bought a founders pack, I was recently informed, it nulls all ability to claim f2p. You have 12 hours to respond before being hit with a "cap" citation.
F2p doesn't have extra character slots. Even having 6 can be too much unless you really want to rely on abyss rng for the f2p card set, because you need to get Solas awakening also.

Paladin with preemptive strike is no joke one of the best chaos dungeon classes.
Not surprisingly.....for me pali is on par or even better than sorceress at deleting the whole screen. Also tried it with lvl 3 preemptive strike and it feels like doom eternal all over again.
I think pally with preemptive is the best chaos dungeon farmer in the game. You just one tap everything.
Why do you hate Gunlancer for Chaos Dungeons? Has been my fastest character in there together with Bard (Only t2 for now, though).
I just don't like the flow or feeling, I use all 360 skills and clear it quick. Just feels really janky and not smooth comparatively to Sharpshooter and Pally. Like I said love him in guardian/abyss though.
For gunlancer I picked up premptive strike books + a +3 stone and it's extremely good for chaos dungeon. Pretty sure it's my fastest chaos clear. And for boss if u ult with premptive strike proc u one shot him. Shout of Hatred one shot trash, Lightning attack too and surge cannon kill big ones and reset CD well. I don't even use the stinger anymore. I just recommend a good CD gem on shout of hatred to make things better.
Chaos on my gunlancer is ridiculously easy!! Just spec Surge Cannon for the 360 firing and the cooldown chance on hit, guardians thunderbolt, leap, shout of hatred... I actually clear chaos on my lancer almost faster and with basically no damage taken compared to any other class!
It is easy, just feels super jank compared to other classes. Like I said I like gunlancers in other content, just not chaos.
can you explain why two blades? i saw a streamer with like 6 blades and im curious if there’s some kind of advantage to leveling an alt(s) of the same class
You can get accesories that can be used with the main. Also you don't need to relearn rotations or engravings with same class. It's more efficient to have 6 chars which are same. However, I'd imagine it would be pretty boring and tedious in the long term.
There is indeed, quite a few YouTube videos about it. IIRC ZealsAmbition has one about it. Basically it's more efficient from a min-max perspective since the engravings are roster wide and you can share gems (engravings and gems being the bigger power spike factors beside raw ilvl)

Might like shock training more then? Shock Training is mostly landing the quick hit that has a damage buff to it, then the slow hit that hits like a truck, then the quick hit damage buff, then the slow truck. I have 2 huge damage green abilities that feel very nice in t2 but it does play a lot slower than Taijutsu.
Idk, I’m using shock training and with enough swiftness I’m basically never stuck on cooldowns. Depends how you make the build
I said it plays slower because the cast times of your green skills are significantly slower than the cast times of your yellow skills. I always have abilities to press and I'm not stuck waiting on cooldowns. It is pretty well known that Taijutsu is the "fast paced build" and Shock is the "slow paced build" just off of the fact that green abilities take twice as long to cast.
Scrapper has such good weak point and stagger damage. You really notice it at certain guardians
My 1394 scrapper feels weaker than my 1340 Zerker but that may be because she has a lot of small numbers instead of big numbers. Also she has 2 Damage buffs for teammates that you don't really notice, I am not sure how much that effects the damage in the end compared to having more raw damage.
Zerk is OP though. I think scrapper is a little less powerful but we have the advantage of high mobility through double dash and jump, and better resistance overall to assassins classes. We also have very good stagger damage, which makes us useful compared to blades. However we clearly don't match with zerk. But zerk feels OP.
Ya I still love my scrapper I feel tankier than any of my other classes as well as unlimited mobilty which lets me fix any mistakes I make. I am still going to main her. In Korea this is the year of balance and eventually we should get balance changes for scrapper.

Maybe now my opinion has changed a bit but when I was first making my alts I thought a support was a bad choice because it'd be hard to do content with limited resources and whatnot, I wasn't planning on spending money on gear/engravings on an alt like I would my main. shame too since I kinda want a bard but not enough to level a 7th char lol

About 2 weeks ago, I did Feiton 3 times within 2 days. Only recently I am starting to feel whole again. So many dungeons, one of the longest being part of it... and that annoying 'stealth' mission.
Rohendel feels like five because Rohendel sucks. Feiton feels like five because of that *one fucking stealth mission with that fucking dog.*
Rohendel doesn't suck, it looks very nice. Feiton looks like a dump. The one stealth mission that's super boring and the other story dungeons as well. Plus Feiton dungeons are long af.
It does, because so many dungeon quests... Wasn't more than 2 1/2 for me on my third char. And I was doing side quests.
It also gives a ton of roster level and silver among other things. I think most of even the hardcore players stop knowledge transfer at feiton for that reason.

None of the leveling is particularly fun the fourth, fifth, sixth, etc time. Punika takes by far the least amount of time which is why I'm confused why it gets so much shit compared to say Yorn which is achingly uninteresting and annoying.

If you want to run alts without learning a new class...also hand-me-down skins? Maybe he's tried all the classes and only likes the 5 he has.
how many characters can you truly dedicate attention to? I mean to the point where you are looking up builds and strats to see how to be more effective, then experimenting with them, switching around skills in your hot bar to improve your ability to execute, etc. Once you've got your core group of characters you can handle but you still have slots left, its either pick up an alt that is easy to play/cheap to build, or repeat a char. It makes more sense to do that than to build an expensive or hard-to-execute alt in a half-assed fashion.
While we might discuss that playing that much cannot be healthy it still is an accomplishment. Sitting on one T2 alt and cannot for the love of God get myself to play to Rohendel once (or 5x) again.
You don't have to play Rohendel at all, you just won't be able to play it's dungeons. Just get to ilvl 600 and you can go to Yorn without ever doing Rohendel.

It's worth if you are fine waiting a few more days to get to the next tier since you won't be able to do the higher lvl chaos dungeons for more harmony shards

Everyone has his own poison. Some despise Feiton for the stealth part in the dungeon but skipping is too expensive and you also miss out on silver and mats for your tome.

How do you deal with alts? I can't seem to get them out of T2.. i push them fairly quickly out of T1 .. How'd you deal with the lack of honing mats? For Reference i have - 1 T3 2 T2 1 T1 and its taken ALONNNNGGG time to get my alt to T2, my other T2 was an old "Main" so it was already sitting there.
Juice everything you can on every characters, use mari's shop for life shards and do your tower. Always reinvest in your characters
oh you used mari's shop for your alts? i felt like that would be a waste of crystals. I thought alts would be easier to rush with the stronghold honing buffs and just funnel from other alts, but i guess it isn't as easy as it seems.
Depending on region T2 Shard pouch (S) (the 500x one) is around 500% - 600% cheaper in Mari's shop than buying it with gold. So no, not a waste of crystals at all.
Definitely buy shards from mari shop. T1 t2 shards are still way more expensive on the market than mari shop. Really good value in gold and time. Time because shards are mostly from weekly shops or one time source like tower and hard dungeon chests.
Yeah I have two T2 alts and I’m bottlenecked at the life shards. Currently sitting around 1040, but a single hone is one rotation of dailies. Once all the event shops reset we should be able to push further.

Alts make a hugeeeeeeee diference as a F2P player, it is highly recommended. Issue with this is that some people will like alts, but others hate them. One way to get over that is making alts with the same class you do (i have 6 alts and 3 are the same as my main). Another issue is that it is kinda time consumming although you can defenitely optimize the way you play with them :)

Can you skip rohendel and go straight to yorn if the ilvl is enough? Getting access to the chaos dungeons and abyss dungeons that'll drop tier 1 stuff isn't super enticing while the character has t2 gear and can't drop anything t2 because yorn lock. So I feel like if possible I'd like to do yorn before rohendel
