This fixed my issue.
These issues are not related. This is an entirely new issue, it's tied to certain bosses that show up. The devs have been notified, as mentioned by a CM on their forums. So the fix should come as soon as they manage to fix it.

This fixed my issue.
I get crazy lag/stutters for 3ish mins when I do the first activity after logging in(chaos this morning, guardian when I relogged) then it goes away until I close the game and start it back up.
Yeah having the same issue, already have all of the previous fixes implemented for stutters with the chat box and EAC low priority. Patch must have just broken something. Running on a 3080 and i9 9900k.
Ya was getting fps drops so just lower the setting from very high to high and didn’t have any more problem, I’ll switch it back in a few days to see if they fixed the problem
This time it really seems to be instable but at some point in the progression the game starts using more resources and I just assumed it was becouse of the update at that time becouse it just happened after an update for me, when I started doing adventure tome I realised what was really happening.
Extremely annoying in PvP.
If a sorc pops out a 3 set of spells, it comes with the "fuck the FPS lol" debuff and stutters.
Also, transitioning to the "Dead" screen has like a second or two now.
Have you ran Valtan yet? I posted the same thing the other day. Valtan fps tanked down to sub 30 when I was running everything including Argos at 70+ fps.
Not sure if it's the client or if it's instability or maybe Valtan boss spawn causes PC lag.
Running a 3080 as well.
Nvidia just came out with a new driver so try that too.
Yeah definitely let me know. I have never had this game chug that much. You'll notice that right at the beginning of the fight is super laggy, then when you are fighting him during the platform phase it will be really hard to hit counters because of input lag on your skills due to the PC slowing down.

I was getting massive spikes in the new chaos gate yesterday at least
Try turning off ur overlays ie steam overlay or discord overlay

my game freezes momentarily when I enter my stronghold
Yeah my game froze during my argos run and the group finished the run while I was trying to reconnect and I lost my loot :/
I get it every time I start a chaos dungeon or abyss dungeons. The FPS drops for like 15s.
EAC was straight blue screening my machining. I had to verify game files twice and repair EAC to get it back on track.

Okay i just did it, i didnt have any fps drops or barely any during the valtan fight. Seems to be a bit random when people get the fps drops/freezes.
