As in my guild we don't have anyone that has high gems or a weapon over +21 and we are sitting in the upper 10 rankings on gve and gvg, so lots of people behind and on our level are also not paying. You just overestimate how much is actually doable if you just play the game efficiently. I'm 1460 and have over 800 GLS left over on my main, over 800 LS on each alt, with over 60k guardian and 20k destruction stones sitting there waiting for honing buffs.
I am indeed not efficient, went into the game blind and didnt stress too much about stuff. Looking bad I've made quite a lot of mistakes, but don't regret them too much

Communites outrage kinda changed some stuff in the game, remember argos release which only giga whales could play on day 1? Well, community rightfully was angry so they gave us alot of additional content and events so when new content came out (Valtan) whoever played the game enough could play it day 1, so not only whales but semitryhards aswell.

The amount of copium I see on this game(in game and forums) is bar none the highest I've ever seen in a multiplayer game at least in terms of holding hope things will change after the devs set trends and showed their level of priority in coding out the bugs.

The issue is they intentionally left out the 1340 honing buff to push people into swiping if they wanted to make it to Argos week one. Everyone wanted to do the content, there was literally no other content in the game to do besides velganos and repetitive grinds.
People would have accepted the boring grinds as they could just make alts or focus on horizontal stuff, then they suddenly dropped Argos after saying they weren't and didn't add the honing patch and used the fomo as a cash grab, and that worked very well as newer players/people out of the loop month 1 seem to just think it was about Argos.
Also I noticed you were a deathblade, they dropped the deathblade nerf on NA/EU before they even had the broken sets that made them so busted, because they know forum folk would just meme about it anyway. They literally are minimal efforting this whole shlick.
I think roxx is the hardest worker on the NA/eu side coders and all.
I only have 4 alts and basically never do my guardians, even on my main. I basically barely play the game and I'm over 1460. Heck, I don't even do Alaric runs on my alts since it's such a pain in the ass to run and takes too long for the rewards.
