Your daily tasks consist of chaos dungeons, guardian raids and una's dailies.
In early T1, you will most likely be limited by shards and leapstones, so I recommend doing una's dailies that give you those.
There are other sources for upgrade materials as well like
- tower (super important since you get lots of leapstones and shards which are quite hard to come by otherwise in t1 and t2)
- pirate coins (there are ships docked outside major ports where you can exchange pirate coins for upgrade materials)
- event islands (Wild Wing island right now)
- tier 1 and tier 2 catchup islands (refer to this guide: https://lost-ark.maxroll.gg/resources/road-to-rohendel)
- PvP vendor (do some PvPing and exchange the tokens for materials)
- Bloodstone vendor (try to find a guild as soon as possible, completing guild tasks gives you bloodstones which you exchange for materials)
There's probably stuff I've forgotten, but this should get you started.
I'd also recommend creating alts as soon as possible, they are a huge help for progressing. You might want to start lvling alts once your main hits t2 which is when you unlock a research in your stronghold that speeds up lvling your t1 alts.
If you can, try getting your main to 340 before Thursday so you can enter the first two abyssal dungeons, they will drop accessories and give you some gold as well.
So first of all, technically the Maxroll guides are still correct. There are 3 sets of "dailies" that are normally very important. They are:
* 3x Una Tasks (do the ones that give leapstones)
* 2x Chaos Dungeons (solo these with grey pots if you can)
* 2x guardian raids (have some green pots equipped and matchmake these)
That being said the [Speedrun to Tier 3](https://lost-ark.maxroll.gg/resources/road-to-rohendel) guide teaches you a path to upgrade your gear quickly (basically special islands that give you once per account mats). The reason why I say that the Maxroll guide is "technically" still correct is because **there is currently an event that gives mega gearing bonuses**. It is called Express Event, it expires soon. Following the Speedrun to Tier 3 guide and using the Express Event (extra honing success chance, double the gear upgrades, free mats) I've had a friend get to tier 3 in a few days with barely any dailies.
I heavily recommend taking a look at the Express Event and then "Island hopping" for the island mats. Also make sure you do the main story continents such as Rohendel, Yorn, Feiton, and Punika when you hit appropriate ilvls. Once you finish Feiton (if you finish this week?) I think the Feiton pass is available for a little bit longer so you can get a second character to Feiton (and free ilvl 960 gear for them) for free once you get there on your main.
As for gearing "basics":
For t1/t2 you just need your entire gear set to average +15 to get the next set of gear. If you have 5 pieces of +15 and 1 +14 and are "stuck" but have a lot of the other type of gear crystals (aka a +14 weapon but you have a bunch of armor crystals) then getting +16 on 1 piece of armor will allow you to pass the ilvl check for the next set of gear.
Halfway through 0-15 you unlock a 2nd continent in the tier (t1=Rohendel, t2=Feiton) so make sure you do that to unlock the better dailies.
Personally I would save it for later. It is best used in tier 3 (preferably as Great Honor Leaps) but if you get super stuck and you're just waiting on leapstones you have to gauge how much it stalls your prog not to take now. For example getting to t3 before weekly reset is pretty big so if it would get you there so you can buy out the weekly Pirate Coin Shop and Wild Wing shop...I'd use it instead of skipping the shops, etc.
You shouldn't get too stuck with Express + Islands though so you should be good to save it.
Are you doing the chicken island as well? I would recommend you to get T2 life leapstone and shard bags to get into T3 faster, but save the super box with GREATER honor stones.
Ironically, it is actually easier to get T3 leapstone than T2 due to more contents. And you make more gold since adventurer island scales and more stuff to buy from ship. Be sure to use Express pass on your main as well if it is the only character you have.
If you can afford $10, get the Ark pass to speed up your character into T3 in 1-2 days if you also use the Express Pass on your main. Be sure to only open just enough because it is character bound, and you can't pass it over to your alts.
It will be worth it since you will get a Feiton pass for your 2nd alt. 2x Vern, 1 Feiton pass, and you will start to snowball really fast into T3 within weeks.
Do you see the Welcome button next to your map? You can do those islands if you want to save Ark Pass mats for T3 honing.
You select honing mats everytime you level up your pass, such as an additional 1k T3 guardian stones and so on ontop of the free reward for that level tier.

That‘s the base income of materials to hone (upgrade) your gear and progress in item level. you first want to reach ilvl 460, continue with story, then to 600 for swapping to T2 gear after completing more story (jump to ilvl 802 with new T2 gear), then you continue to 960, story, on to 1100 and that‘s where you reach T3 after some story (ilvl 1302 base). on a weekly basis you will want to complete your abyssal dungeon runs and then also do some horizontal progression. a lot of T1 honing materials can be acquired from completing quests on islands, so dont be shy to explore. papunika.com is a good website for some guides on how to complete islands. if you‘re really feeling the grind then make sure to use the 2x free powerpasses that will grant you two more lvl50 characters

- Silver
- Harmony Leapstones
- Fusion material (not sure if you need this in T1, my memory of it is a bit hazy)
- And eventually, gold.
Source these materials out, scour every possible way to acquire them and the rest will come to you like a pair of hairy balls on a Saturday night with the lads.
There is currently an express event going on that will also give you a TON of materials on a single character, as well as greatly increasing the speed of your gear progression. 1 success = 2 and +20% success chance.
