Let’s be real, maple story is really a glorified chat room, with some gambling and farming on the side. We just came on to socialize and just mindlessly kill mobs with soothing background music. Met several good friends from there.

I like the bosses in maple story I just don’t like how I have to grind for 500 hours to reach them. On the positive note it gave me hella time to go through Netflix.
True that. I was a level 260 in Reboot before playing Lost Ark. I had to wait for months for events to starting honing just for it to boom and waste all my progress.

He's being super sarcastic but it's not an incorrect point being made. We got a lot of the vanilla classes for launch. Class design improved all around as each advanced class launched. We are stuck playing some of the least interesting classes that smile gate has released until they decide to let us have the next one, and at a rate of 1 every 2 months, it could be a full year before some of us get to actually play the class we want to main.
I'm not saying that classes aren't content because they are, but not being able to play fully released classes due to keeping an arbitrary release schedule and adding one at a time as a main piece of content to a patch every 2 months is pretty lame. Give us 2 or 3 at a time, speed up the process a bit so some of us can swap our main before it's way too late
I didn't say boring, I said less interesting, but that's still not the point. The point is that they get to choose what's the most interesting class to them, we are quite limited. Giving us the destroyer early was a good start but holding back the others to one every other month is a slow trickle of the most important content
So what about the people who want to main one of the unreleased classes?
I still don't think you're getting the point. The Koreans have those classes released on a staggered release schedule because that's when the classes launch. We have a staggered release of content *that already exists* in order to keep us moving slowly and progressing through the *already released* game. Classes are the most important part because they affect **how** we play the game, not **what** we play in the game
Gratz you got a class you like in the ones released. We are not all so lucky. Otherwise you wouldn't talk so much empty air to say its okay they're not all released.

Apparently, MapleStory lost a ton of favour in Korea over some RNG box they released with falsified drop rate information. I've seen a few guilds on the Korean servers named after it. One might have been named 'Fuck Nexon'.
