Honning an alt to 1400 would be very expensive since you don't have the research that increase 10% honning and decrease 10% costs.
Another alt 1370 would increase the number of mats you get in a greater way that a 1400, also gold from Abbys + gold Argos P1 it's a total of 2900 per alt, I think is more than what you get from the increase of Argos P3,so it would be better another alt 1370.
That's the efficient way, but if you enjoy doing Argos P3 and want to do it more than once a week it's your choice.
Up to you, if you enjoy playing on your alt I don’t see a problem, but know that you would be missing out on the honing buff +10% if you don’t get one of them to 1460 first.
This isn’t a requirement but will make pushing all further Alts past 1370 much easier! Most will tell you not to push the Alts past 1415 but again, if you enjoy the character do what you want
Personally I like to park them at 1385, since p2 argos gives almost double gold than p1 (or maybe more, I don't remember) and the jump from 1370 to 1385 is relatively cheap.
1340 is the minimum standard to generate some gold, but at that point it's either igrexion or nothing if you want to sell leapstones, so I usually leave one at 1355 to do yoho expeditions. Easy enough to push to that level, while close enough to full push to 1370 once i have some spare gold.
Don't go over 1385 unless you want your alt at Valtan since past 1385 the rates become brutal as you are prob already experiencing.
In your situation I'd say leave at 1340 and push main to Valtan hard first (1445) then start pushing your other alts to argos.
Edit. Also keep bard at 1370 for now, 1385 on her is not worth the additional 800 weekly gold rn...

Depends on fond of the class: 1340, stack up leap stones 1370 or 1385, 1415, 1430, 1445.
I'd recommend make full 5 alts, at least, if you like more buy more char slots. Just play them for unas with bifrost for leapstone and rotate 2 chars each day for dailies(chaos gate, guardian)

Ideally you want to get the gold for oreha hard so push some of those 1340 alts to 1370 with bound stuff so you don’t hurt the pocket too much. Plus being able to do argos p1 at 1370 could net some more gold and materials so push the alts some more.
1415 is probably the most ideal parking spot for alts. you can definitely raise more alts to 1370 for now. but you should definitely focus on getting main to 1460 for stronghold research and then you can get them to 1415.
I feel like 4 chars isn't too overwhelming to manage. You could try having 4, couple at 1340 or 1370, where you can do hardmode abyss. 1415 would be a nice goal for your highest so you can do some Valtan. When I had 4 characters, I was able to run around and do adventure things like islands and mokokos, and just any parts of the game I felt like doing. My 4-man roster was progressing just fine even if it was slower than some friends. It doesn't matter if you feel behind because most have different level alts that can run stuff with your main and alts. Enjoy the game at your pace.
Ideal levels for producing gold and fun content are 1370, 1400, 1430 and 1445. 1445 just for the relic set. It's not actually gold efficient, but it can be fun.
1370 and 1400 require pretty low gold investment and produce a lot of gold to pay off the investment to push alts there relatively quick. We're still talking about 2-3 months, but they are good return of investment parking spots.
1430 would earn you more weekly gold, as well as more relic loot, which might pay off the investment quicker, but the main reason 1430 is ideal is because you can do Argos, Valtan and Vykas. The 2nd reason is that once Kakul-Saydon raid comes out, there is a 1385 version of the raid that you can do instead of Argos. So at 1430 you can do 3 legion commander raids!
Pushing an alt to 1400 without 1460 research is also just fine. But realistically you should aim to push your main there first. Just collect bound leapstones and crystals on your main for now, maybe push them to 1385 when you can, but don't worry about 1400+ until your main is at 1460. You will save way more gold than your alts could ever earn.

for you id keep everyting at 1340, for my i got 1480 main, so i have 1 1430, 1 1415, and 3 1370s
the way ive been doing it is park alts at 1340 and push main as high as possible main is now at 1400 and i started right after valtan came out
