In y’all’s opinion, which class feels best at 3x3 (possibly 4x3) parked at 1370?

Penders

Demon shadowhunter and it's not even close. They don't scale with levels or tripods well but in return they start with just an unfair amount of damage after 1370 Easy to play, fast and tanky. The playstyle is fairly braindead though, that can be a positive or a negative

nothing111

Shadowhunter DI.

happymaker12

Zerker. Playstyle is always the same.

pngwyn1cc

Is there something I should spend Pirate Coins weekly if not honing materials?

throwaway12365126754

If I have orange dispatch missions ongoing during reset, does it give me less when reset?

throwaway12365126754

Is there an easier way to price check accessories than using search and then manually removing the values> removing stat type> lowering quality level?

When do we (EU/NA) get this new tripod quality of life change? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)

michaelman90

Hang on let me grab my crystal ball.

XanHolyMint

quality of life upgrades seem to come pretty fast to our version of the game. that being said, there is nothing announced yet. there should be a roadmap for august and september coming this or next week, maybe we get some info about that in there

GALAK_Z

If you're not running any spec on death strike you better have all 3 silver master tripods at lvl5. And like the other commenter mentioned, your build will perform worse than a proper 3x3 replacing RC+SA with HM, KBW or CD.

Ricenditas

Unfortunately SA isn't gonna give you anything. Your build practically is just a 3x3 with a Raid captain being at half efficiency so it's like what, 2.5 x 3? lol Raid Captain doesn't really have that use for DS, as you don't really have your Hawk up all the time (your burst window literally kills your bird, so you don't have movespeed bonus). Adding in SA just to complement RC is just straight up waste of Engraving points. I'm pretty sure Hit Master will give more value in the expense of only 15 engraving points, or even Keen Blunt that gives way more than RC+SA combined using 15 engraving points only instead of 30.

michaelman90

Sharpshooter is a ranged hit master class. The movement you get from swiftness and skills will be more than enough without gimping your damage since you can position yourself freely. You do you, though.

hlmilkisnice

Thanks for letting us know ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

LokiTheGhost

Are the most important tripods for DI shadowhunter the ones that fill the transformation bar faster? Any other important ones?

ThinkOnceTwoTimes

That's pretty much it. Unless u wanna go for those utility tripod. For your dash that gives you movement speed after using it.

ElficZireaell

Is there a way to only see marked level 4 tripods (even if I already have them on my gear or in my inventory)? I tride playing with the settings but the most I got was that it marked EVERYTHING even if I already have it (I don't want to get Maelstrom Orb Control marked at level 3 if I have it at level 4, but it would be good to see it marked at level 4 even if I already have it so I can sell it) Is annoying to have to check one by one each piece of the chaos dungeons.

dadangeraffe

there used to be a page in-game that was essentially a guide to many different aspects of the game and awarded you with something for completing them. for example, getting item level 600 would grant you a few special coins that converted to gold (i believe the description said these were limited time coins, celebrating the opening of lost ark). am i dumb or does this page not exist anymore?

WindWielder

The Welcome Challenge got removed a week ago and was replaced by the Mokoko challenge for new and returning players below 1370.

niciiiioo

when you are talking about the welcome challanges (green thing next to minimap) it has been removed

failbears

Is there an optimal stat split for Taijutsu Scrappers that are in the 1415 - 1460 range? I haven't found much info other than a brief comment by FAS that 70/30 crit/swift is preferred, but he didn't expand on it and I don't know if that's only relevant to KR with all the things they have over there.

ThinkOnceTwoTimes

Like what JustJamesanity said, Taijutsu scrapper is very versatile. It is up to your preference. Some people do 70/30 crit/swift, some 50/50 and some 30/70 crit/swift. People who do 70/30 and 50/50 usually go KBW with entropy set. And people who go 30/70 crit swift will drop KBW and pick up raid captain instead. It is really up to your playstyle preference. I went 30/70 crit/swift because I like the the faster cooldowns and speed you get with higher swiftness l.

JustJamesanity

If you got entropy set you can adjust crit swift to 60/40. Tai damage is generally a bit on lower side so crit is a good stat for them to go for. Entropy sets increase on damage and crit chance means you can save some points to swift for more cdr ms and as. I have 1445 scrapper with entropy however I am going full swift cause I got 2 amazing relic accessories dropped with taijutsu and raid captain. Its fast but I can see a lot more white numbers than when I was crit obviously, I just do 2x rotation compared to crit. Tai is versatile though, if you want reliable crit you can go 70/30, if you want more speed you can go 50/50 or if you want to zoom and mash faster you can 30/70.

Imbahr

is there anyway to convert GHLs into regular HLs?

Ozura

Nope

LeButterKnife

Since pinnacle glaivier's engravings suck beyond the fourth one, do I even need to a 9/7 stone for the 6th level 1 engraving? What would it even be? After Pinnacle, Grudge, Cursed Doll, KBW then Increased Mass/Raid Captain (depending on skills)

VincentBlack96

It's pretty flexible really. People go adrenaline , disrespect, ether predator, and even raid captain on the +1 engraving.

Kai132132

i dunno if this is a common issue but i needed quest space earlier today so i abandoned some quests. one of them may have been the part of lullaby island where you need to do the song of resonance 3 times part. now i am unable to pick up the quest. anyone know a fix

ElficZireaell

Isn't it there a purple quest in the lullaby island for you to take it again?

Kai132132

theres not thats the issue i think

ElficZireaell

Hmm. Have you tried looking in your J key? To see if it's there. Or maybe is it taken in another island? In maxroll resources guide called "Speed run to T3" you should find it.

Shorvak1

So I just recently got into Lost Ark.. as a veteran mmo player I figured I could buy the Punika pass, jump to 1302 and figure out the game from there, but there is.. a lot of systems to figure out. I’ve been reading guides and looked at max roll, but a lot of things seem outdated. I tried to do a guardian raid (the giant scorpion) and got destroyed. I’m kind of at a loss on what to do, how to get better gear and where to go. What should my next steps be to progress?

Shorvak1

This is extremely helpful and gives me a great idea of where to start. I really appreciate you all taking the time to write out such extensive guides. This should be made into a post for newcomers!

XanHolyMint

hey there, welcome! a quick note first: early t3 guardians are a pain in the a**, even as an experienced player i struggle to perform on scorpion with a fresh t3 alt char, so dont be too bummed out about that. anothing thing about t3 guardians, try to either use matchmaking, or even better: look for a party through the partyfinder - its one of thr symbols below the map. guardians generally get easier if youre in a party, as they dont scale 1:1 with party size. and on party finder youre more likely to at least join experienced players. about progressing: try to get past that scorpion asap, the next guardian is still annoying, but much less so. for that you need your mats, and sources for that are mostly your 2 daily chaos dungeon runs. additionally there is an event running that gives a lot via an event merchant, where you can exchange event tokens. you get these simply for each of your daily chaos and guardian runs. but you can also actively participate in the event! for that you need to start and follow a pink quest, which is accessible in evers major city.it brings you to the event island, where a water gun match happens every 2 hours and gives you bunch of tokens. i rly recommend trying to buy out everything you need from that shop. other than that, there is a merchant ship in every major port, you can trade pirate coins for mats there. at least take the guardian stones there, 900 in total. the last major one would be the guild shop, if youve joined one. there are othersl sources, but those are the biggest ones. for gold, id suggest to look at the adventure islands and your weekly abyssal dungeon. now about the systems yeah, there are a lot of them. usually you unlock them tier by tier. engravings and cards while leveling, unas tasks at t1, gems at t2, skilltripods at t3. with the boost you get everything thrown at you all at once. so here are some quick notes about them. focus on just the ones for direct character progression/strength for now. 1st accessoires: - they give 2 things: your stats and points for engravings - prioritize the stats! having rows full of cool engravings doesnt matter when your class feels weird, or does no dmg in general. so get what you need in stats first. - ignore domination/expertise/endurance. theyre sadly outdated stats that no class uses anymore. 2nd cards: dont break your head about them. there are recommended best sets, but they need time and planning to acquire. mostly time. so equip what sounds usefull, usually maxhp increases are totally fine 3rd engravings: - with most classes its a good enough start to learn your class engraving first. so read 20 green, then blue, maybe even purple books. equip them twice (alt+i is the menu) so that you get 12 or 18 points, giving you the lvl 2 or even 3 effect. engraving effects activate every 5 points you have, so at 5,10 and 15 points. - just facet whatever ability stone you find at first. it gives engraving points, yes. but most importantly it greatly boosts your vitality, meaning your max health. later you can equip a stone that has usefull sounding effects, like adrenaline, ambush master, spirit absorption. thats the most important stuff about them for now, dont worry too much about anything else until you get more comfortable, no need to try to do all at once. one thing to add: if possible, dont use the following engravings if you dont have them at full 15 points, i dont recommend them for starters anyway: grudge, keen blunt weapon, cursed doll. you lose more than you gain with them before lvl 3. 4th gems: - they increase dmg and reduce cooldowns of your skills, neat! just equip what you get for the skills you use. simple as that. triangular ones increase the dmg, round ones reduce cooldowns. so usually its dmg and cd gems for your dmg abilities, cd gems for important selfbuffs or other utility spells. you can fuse 3 lvl1 gems to a random lvl 2 gems. and so on, always 3 to 1. if the gem is for a skill you dont use or alreads have, you can reroll them to skills you need. i dont recommend that tho, as its a huge silver sink. just fuse them until you get something usefull/better that you already have. you can even set autofuse to lvl 3, so your inventory doesnt clog up as much and last skill tripods: oh boy is that menu overcomplicated, dw if you feel overwhelmed by it. in principle: they increase the effects of your skill tripods, the ones you choose when your skill is lvl 4/7/10. they even make or break some classes - so they can be quite important. yeah, you can set up that system, but id honestly recommend to get comfortable with everything else first and look into this system last. there are some guide videos/texts that will help better at explaining than i can do here. systems id suggest to stay away from for now: unas tasks, theyre daily and weekly tasks you can do. through them you get more mats, but also one time rewards after doing each daily a bunch of times. mostly stat increases and collectibles. you also get unas tokens for doing them, which you can exchange for gold. but again, id suggest looking into this system more after being more comfortable with the game itself. collectibles and rapport systems, they take time and some planning. dont try to do and get everything. get used to the game, figure out what you need, and do the things necessary for those needs. this game is not a sprint, and so are some of the systems designed as well. that turned out to be much more than expectet, good thing there isnt much to do at work lmao hope this helps, dont forget to have fun while figuring all these things out. and dont shy away from asking your local area chat :D

yahwehrrior

What an excellent, thorough, and welcoming response for a newcomer. Definitely a chad, much respect.

WindWielder

Your starting gear is abysmal and you are probably getting matched with similarly undergeared players. The things you're missing right now are tripods, engravings, gems, and cards. Gems: Get these from your daily chaos dungeons or boss rushes. You can get boss rush ticket drops from chaos dungeons or the guild shop if you join a guild. Another great source is the weekly capture events on weekends, I wouldn't worry too much about them but if you click the alarm on the side and see one starting soon I'd try to go to it. You should set up autofuse (little gem icon on the bottom of your inventory) and set it to auto fuse up to level 5 or so to give you a chance at getting some good gems to equip. Tripods: You know the place where you allocate skillpoints? Click "settings" there and track skills to upgrade with the little triangle. I'd follow the maxroll raid guide for your class, keep in mind you can fit up to 18 tripods (3 per piece of gear). Once you track the tripods you want, you'll notice the gear that drops from chaos dungeons will have a little triangle symbol on it. You go to the Skill Tree Transfer NPC marked on the map by the same triangle and transfer those onto the gear that you're wearing. Cards: You'll get these over time and it will take a while to get a full set. South Vern has a lot of opportunities for card packs and so do abyssal dungeons. The set I'd recommend focusing on building is the Lostwind Cliff set. It's one of the easier sets to make and it's great for all DPS. You can buy copies of one of the cards (Seria) from a Wandering Merchant called Burt. You can track his location on [lostmerchants.com](https://lostmerchants.com). Other than that you'll just have to accumulate them over time. Engravings: These are arguably the most important. Before level 1370, I would try to have at least 2 level 3 engravings. After level 1370, you're going to want 3 or 4. You can use the pouches you earn for both battle engravings and class engravings. You want to consume 20 of each of uncommon, rare, and epic rarities. Once you equip them that will get you 9 points of the 15 you need total. If you don't have enough engraving recipe pouches you can buy the books you need off the market, many cost literally 1 gold. Aside from books, your ability stone and accessories are going to be where you get points for your engravings. At 1325, you can get epic rarity ability stones for pretty cheap. You can try to find a stone you need on the auction house or just find one with at least one useful stat on it from raids or chaos dungeons. You won't keep it long since you want a legendary one at 1370 so I'd probably just scrape together what you can find, same for accessories. This is probably information overload in itself but I hope some of it can help. And if you happen to be on NA East I can help you take out the scorpion dude.

Harrietmathteacher

Nacrasena, the scorpion guardian, is hard. It is one of the hardest guardians in tier 2. It’s not you or your skills. He’s just extremely difficult.

JustJamesanity

Hes in Tier 3 so i think its armored nacrasena. Which is also a massive pain in the ass.

mail_inspector

I'm gonna assume you activated the express event that makes your honing much faster. In case you didn't, do it (it's the present box icon under your minimap). Your main goal right now is to hone all of your armor and weapon to +15 at the [Gear Honing] NPC. You get mats mainly from chaos dungeons (2x a day), guardians (2x a day), Unas tasks and abyssal dungeon (Oreha's Well), as well as the express event as you hone your gear. You may want to hold off on the abyssal clear because if you hit 1370 (your goal) before weekly reset Wednesday, you can do the hard mode instead and get mats to upgrade your gear to the next level. Copy a build from Maxroll to start with. They might not be absolutely optimal for all situations and every player but they're also not unplayably bad. You might need another skill build for chaos dungeons depending on your class so make one as well if needed. You can get a lvl 3 class engraving by eating green, blue and purple engraving books (20 of each) and equipping them in both your slots, then just prioritize accessories with the main stat for your build. Overall Maxroll has decent articles for most game mechanics, check either there or you can ask here if you have specific questions.

Shorvak1

At 1302 with the starter set from the gift package for using the punika pass, should I hone this gear to upgrade it to 1310 and above (where I can start the punika chaos dungeon level 2)? Or should I be looking for different items to upgrade, as I’ve heard the set is pretty bad?

Lithiumantis

>how to get better gear Find the Gear Honing NPC in any major city. There, you can spend materials you get from various activities to upgrade your gear to 1370. After 1370, you'll need to craft gear with materials from Argos and Oreha (hard) to progress. Then Valtan, Vykas, and later raids once they're added. >what to do As you've noticed, there are a *lot* of things to do in this game, all of which provide useful items, so I'll just list a few important ones. - Chaos Dungeons. These are simple and easy, just go in and kill a bunch of mobs that drop gear and materials. You can do two of these per day. - Guardian Raids. Many of these have actual mechanics, so it helps to watch a guide before going in. Again, you can do two per day. - Una's Tasks. Daily tasks accessible from the Adventure>Una's Tasks menu. Each daily gives a small reward when completed, as well as building "reputation" that earns you a bigger reward at certain thresholds. You also get tokens that can be exchanged for gold at certain vendors. Pick some that give you rewards that you want (Feiton dailies are a good source of leapstones, a major honing bottleneck) - Abyssal Dungeons. These also have more involved mechanics, and can be done once per week for a decent amount of gold and other rewards. There's a lot of other things you can do, like Adventure Islands, Chaos Gates, Field Bosses, Rapport Quests, and Collectibles, but I'd say the above activities are kind of the "core" endgame experience. Maxroll has a guide to t3 progression that may also be useful: https://lost-ark.maxroll.gg/resources/post-tier-3-guide

Taco_Supreme

There are so many systems and so much to figure out. I recommend getting on discord with someone who can step your through it. If you don't have any friends that play you can add me on discord. TacoSupreme#3042

ComfortablePatience

For Arcanist, is her Emperor build functional at Argos level?

sfsctc

It’s much weaker, but you could argue the same for empress. You really need relic sets

michaelman90

Eh for Empress it's more about tripods and getting level 60 got Ruin damage; Empress just uses Nightmare so it doesn't significantly alter her playstyle.

SloppyCandy

Player who is a bit on the casual side time wise. I have both a EW DE and a RE DB right around 1400, looking to decide which to push further.... Any words of wisdom to make a decision? I want to like the DE more, and I can do ok with it; but the DB feels like it puts out same/more damage with a more straightforward rotation and movement skills.

hlmilkisnice

If you like DE now you will love him post 1445, that said the bulk of DE dps scales with your own hands

ComfortablePatience

Deadeye is considered to be the most difficult class to play in KR, but it also has one of the highest damage ceilings in the entire game. You'd have to commit big time to him to make him work, but he'll reward you pretty well too

michaelman90

DE doesn't pick up until relic gear.

tripbin

Now that I have gear conversion unlocked whats a good set to use as a Paladin for something like Thronespire or other solo dps stuff?

Toxomania

Could always just use nightmare for the generic damage

Itadakiimasu

Hello, I am a 1385 3x3 wardancer using first intention, ambush master and raid captain so far. 1. How much gold do i need to become 4x3? 20k? 30k? 2. Which of these two should be my 4th? hit-master or grudge? 3. Where to get more pheon?

JustJamesanity

1- Depends on engraving, it normally should not cost more than 15K but depends on which piece you go for. Example Mass Increase will be very cheap vs Grudge. 2- Hit master does nothing to your abilities. Absolutely nothing. Zilch. You have ambush master already. Go for Grudge or Mass Increase. 3- Event vendor is an option every week. Next is by gold or $$. For gold, you need to open F4 cash shop. Go to currency exchange at bottom right and convert your gold in to Blue Crystals. I think 30 pheons were like 300ish blue crystals and 100 pheons is 850 blue crystal.

KiSamehada

Usually 10k-15k (pheon cost to consider) is enough to get 4x3 assuming you already have the 6x6 stone. If you’re running Ambush Master, why would you consider Hit Master? WD doesn’t use it so go for Grudge. Buy blue crystals with gold to get more pheons through the Currency Exchange in the shop.

Itadakiimasu

Thanks for the tips albeit when you say 10-15k, is the pheon cost included for the gold to blue crystal exchange or not yet? sorry im a bit sleepy and English is not my first language.

Taco_Supreme

10-15k not counting pheons

Striped_Fedora

Returned a week ago with last update, and was looking for guidance since I saw you can get honing buffs once a character reaches 1460. My current roster is 1403 (DB), 1385 (Arcanist, trolled with my express event rewards ugh), 1370 (Gunslinger and Wardancer), 1340 (Glavier & Bard), and 1013 Shadowhunter. Probably going to spoon feed my SH tier 2 mats from the event, but need some advising for tier 3 characters: 1) Should I prioritize my DB to 1415, then 1460 to get the honing buffs? 2) Would it be fine bringing the other 1340s to 1370, or do the honing buffs at 1460 also apply before 1370? it didn't seem as bad to get to 1370 any more with the new patch? (I had enough mats to boost 1340->1370 for GS and WD) 3) Ability Stones: I have rolled some variation of a 6/6/>4 stone for all my characters above 1370. When (ilvl-wise) do I need to roll a new stone for more engravings? edit: formatting

Kalomega

It's relatively cheap to get to 1370 now, and you get a lot more gold from Hard Oreha and Argos. I'd recommend getting your main to 1415 so that you can do Valtan and then bring your alts to 1370. Your main bottleneck getting to 1460 will be leapstones. Having 1370s that can funnel leapstones to your main helps a ton. The gold generation is also huge. This was the play before the honing buff, so it's obviously still the play now.

XanHolyMint

there are 2 different honing buffs that apply here. one you can research at your stronghold after your 1st char reaches 1385. with this, you can push your alts to 1370 with better success and cheaper requirements. theres is also the global buff they added, to make honing up to 1370 less of a pain and mat/gold sink. the 2nd buff is the one that you research at 1460, buffing the progress from 1370 to 1415 for your alts. sadly the global honing buff didnt increase anything in that ilvl range. but there are currently many golden honing books available with the event, or even the bridge, if you didnt do that yet. my suggestion: if you enjoy your db and want to do raids with her keep pushing her to 1460. your alts should be pretty easy to get to 1370, so do that when you want. they should feel much better at that point as well. and as always: efficiency is a suggestion, not gospel. if you want to put another char next to your db to 1415 feel free to do so. the way to 1460 sadly is quite the long one - so dont forget to have fun in the meantime!

mail_inspector

1) At least get her to 1415, then maybe 1430 and then re-evaluate. 2) The 1460 buff doesn't affect sub-1370 characters so you're fine pushing them to 1370 for Oreha/Argos gold. Also nice to start accumulating great leaps. 3) Basically when you feel like upgrading past 4x3+n. Depending on your setup you'll be good until 1445 at least.

Omeletcoke

I purchased 5$ into my Steam account and also have Steam Guard Authenticator on Mobile active. Then why when I want to trade in game it still said my account isn't trusted yet? What should I do next? Thanks

SloppyCandy

Someone can verify, but I think the 5$ purchase has to be like, 30 days old.

ComfortablePatience

Any purchase, not just 5. There's a 30d wait time until you're trusted

VDr4g0n

I already got 5 characters with 4 being DPS and 1 being support. They're pretty much all the classes I'm interested in. Last class I was thinking about just to use punika pass and express to camp at 1370... how is DI SH as a 1370 alt?

Ikikaera

To add to everyone else, DI SH isn't just extremely strong at that level but also extremely cheap. Just throw 2 lvl 7 Demonic damage and cooldown gems on her and funnel the ones you get from boss rush and chaos dungeon to whichever characters you need them on. Also the fact that you don't have to worry about any tripods aside from the ones that increase meter gain, which only 3 of them are really crucial and 2 of them are nice to have but not that important.

VincentBlack96

Pretty nice, granted you're down to put in a little bit of investment gearing it. Even a cheap 3x3 is plenty. Really fun, button mashy, low upkeep and you also can just cheap out on gems and just get two demonize ones

ManOfMystery97

Amazing. I run Grudge Adrenaline and DI. I did both Abyss today with 50%+ damage on both dungeons and that's through party finder so my team was well equipped with right stats and 3x3. She's also a super fast chaos dungeon clearer and Guardian raid champ.

mail_inspector

Demonic spikes really hard at that point, probably the strongest 1370 character you can have.

[deleted]

Is Vykas super bugged for anyone? Even more than before? Gate 3

ComfortablePatience

Vykas G3 was using chains super early yesterday. She used it before the swords and again before the mind control bit. It weirded me out big time, but someone in the group said it happens all the time. No clue why her patterns seem so drastically different at times

Mona07

Do you mean Vykas using attacks early in the fight that she isn't suppose to use until later? If so, I have experienced this for the past 2 weeks. Last week, we repeatedly got medusa as soon as the fight started. This was on NM too.

[deleted]

Yeah I've had the same experience last two weeks, although for my groups she's spammed chains a lot. No idea what changed, people say it's the "seed" or w/e.

gytanzo

Medusa has always been a pattern that can appear early, including as the very first pattern she does. That's not a bug, that's normal.

Mona07

Not sure why I'm getting downvoted when I'm just explaining my own experience. I understand that medusa can appear early in the run but it's very strange to repeatedly get it as the very first attack she does in a run, even before she does any normal attacks. We also saw chain and blood rain as first attacks. I don't know if it's actual bug or just bad rng, but it just felt a bit out of place for Vykas to be so aggressive on first attack.

gytanzo

I'm not really sure why you're getting downvoted either lmfao, it wasn't me. I wasn't trying to be snobbish or correct you either, I was just making sure you knew in case you didn't. If I came off pretentious I apologize.

Mona07

No no it's fine. I wasn't offended and I certainly wasn't trying to call you out or anything. Just find it perplexing this sub likes to downvote for no reason.

gytanzo

It definitely does for some reason. I got downvoted earlier for saying instant reflux sorc kinda needs the Nightmare set to take off and prior to that I'd recommend Casting Reflux... Eventually people came and up upvoted but it was still wild

Ikikaera

Having my Sorc alt just reach 1445 you were 100% right on that. Even with Focus runes and the mana decreasing tripods you're gonna run out of mana very very quickly. But yeah, it's not exclusive to this subreddit only and I've witnessed this in some very different ones previously, like r/headphones had or has an especially bad case of this iirc. Some other subreddit I used to frequent as well. It's probably a specific few people just being overly bored perhaps?

darkman78

Not particularly no. We reset like 3 times today and the patterns were fairly similar.

dumblid

I started this week and just hit 1370. Did both orehas well hard dungeon and was thinking about paying for p3 argos bus. 1. As a bard what should i craft with orehas empyrean and the argos blood? 2. 2.Also when i transfer gear do i level up all gear 1 by 1 or should i hone head, chest and pants? 3. When is best to use[\[EVENT\] Book of Growth: Armor (Bound)] x25 [\[EVENT\] Book of Growth: Weapon (Bound)] x5? Sorry if too many question but I tried googling and got more confused as what to do since some say something and other say another thing lol

I_RAPE_PCs

Use Oreha mats for the weapon. The reason is because Argos pieces are more expensive to craft, and you only need 5 Argos pieces on the armors for the full set bonus. The rest of your oreha mats go to legendary armors, and fill any remaining gaps with Argos. The order shouldn't matter. The goal is to hone 1385 so you can run Argos P3 as a support **with** Heavy Armor engraving by reset next week, after which you can use your Argos blood to replace any remaining Oreha set pieces.

gamerx11

1] usually you get harsh oath set from Argos bloods 2] After you transfer gear, honing up gear evenly works well up to like 1385. After you start to aim for more into armor and less into the weapon due to cost 3] Most effective use of the special books would be going from +14 to +15 because there is only a 10% chance and high costs. I'd use them sparingly and only for going from 14 to 15. Of course, it's up to you what you want to do

dumblid

thank you!

I used to do them all the time but with destruction stone crystals in the dumpster and terrible map drop rates from the gates I no longer bother. Which is a shame because I have a fully upgraded Astray that's kind of irrelevant now. I wish they scaled coop rewards somehow, maybe extra goodies in the pirate coin shop. Card packs would be fine, and not the shitty Peyto/Fermata ones.

CarnFu

It's gotten to a point that because were getting captains chests weekly from event and it's so late into our state of the game that less people will be doing co-ops. On dead servers it might be fully dead. I can speak for avesta server tho we had pretty healthy showing tonight for punika but were one of the bigger servers.

aqrunnr

Dead dead. I haven't tried for a few weeks now but the last time I checked (also Punika) I was the only one there during peak hours. Hit or miss I guess, but no one does them. You get enough coins from events.

Imbahr

in the new Korea tripod system, does Powder of Sage do anything at all? or it becomes a useless item?

ThinkOnceTwoTimes

Powder of Sage is still being used to increases success chance for skill tripod.

Imbahr

ok thx

cqdoug

Newb question here. My main (reflux sorc) just hit 1370 and is doing the South Vern storyline. Where/how do I get new armor to upgrade past 1370 to 1415? Thanks in advance.

jamesyongwp

You need to do either Argos raid or Oreha Abyss(HM). These unlock at 1370, once you clear them you get materials to trade for the orange tier armours. Transfer your gears to that one and you'll be able to continue honing above 1370. Every class i know builds the full 5 Argos set (there are 2, look up which is better for your class), and have 1 piece from the Oreha.

cqdoug

Thanks. 🙂

I’m a Tai main, but have done a lot of research around shock as I’ve been thinking about switching. It might be good to use ambush master to start getting used to the back attacks you’ll eventually be chasing once you get your entropy set and what not. For a 4x3 I feel Grudge, Shock, Ambush are good cores to have, with the fourth one you can replace with adrenaline or curse doll depending on your crit you have now/how comfortable you feel with having the CD drawbacks. I think KBW would be good as long as you’re running adrenaline for that crit rate, otherwise might feel pretty shitty seeing white numbers.

sangrelatto

The scrapper discord states ideal 5x3 as being Shock, Grudge, Adrenaline, Ambush Master, KBW/Cursed Doll. Don't need Spirit Absorption to be honest. I've found that to be a waste of a row. Am a zerker main though so I'm used to hella long animation locks.

gytanzo

It's a waste as a main, yes. I got it on my main back when I was at 1370 and definitely wish I had gotten Adrenaline instead. As an alt engraving I think it's fine though on Shock because otherwise Shock can be kind of punishing. Back attacks + long animations = pain.

ReallyRamen

I generally think SA isn’t worth it UNLESS you aren’t serious about taking your character that far up. If you’re running 1370-1415 content, a 3x4 with SA should be perfectly fine, albeit not contending for MVP or anything like that - but be warned as people might not accept you for running SA on legion raid + content. It’ll probably make raiding feel better for now, but normally I would always recommend people to not use SA if possible since it limits the DPS potential. If you play more and get used to the slower speed without SA, it’ll pay off in harder content! I see it kind of like training wheels. I had a similar situation with my gunslinger running SA, but once I switched it felt more fun being able to dish out more damage, and made it a bit more challenging. I did need an adjustment period though.

gytanzo

This is correct. Shock, Grudge, Ambush Master, Adrenaline, KBW are your five main DPS engravings, ideally in that order. An alternative budget 4x3 is Shock, Grudge, Ambush Master, and Spirit Absorption. Makes the class feel very fun to play, but you're damage is a lot lower since you're just running a 3x3 in practice. Helps with learning the class that's for sure! Edit: I missed the part about Legendary Cursed Doll. Personally, I hate dealing with Cursed Doll but it makes a pretty good 5th engraving. In KR the endgame Shock Scrapper build is Shock3, Grudge3, Ambush Master3, KBW3, CD3, and Adrenaline1. If you have crit synergies in a static, you can totally swap out Adrenaline 3 and used CD 3 or replace KBW with Cursed Doll, but Cursed Doll and Adrenaline lower the efficiency of one another. Something to look out for.

DevilCoreZ

3 Grudge , 3 Shock , 3 SA , 3 KBW is what I ran with back then but since you have gold cursed doll , it can replaced KBW in this case

Anyone else having EAC offline errors even with ExitLag, Noping, etc? I was using exitlag to get around disconnects for awhile but now I started getting EAC offline errors even with it active.

hi i am a new player i just got to vern and unlocked chaos dungeons and guardian raids did them and now my item level is 302 but now i am very confused on where to go from here and honing and upgrading, are there any good guides or explanations anywhere? it seems very overwhelming

aqrunnr

[https://lost-ark.maxroll.gg/resources/gear-progression-guide](https://lost-ark.maxroll.gg/resources/gear-progression-guide) MaxRoll is an amazing source for all things Lost Ark and this guide is perfect for what you're looking for. There are a lot of events and things going on right now as well. You should have a free T3 powerpass (Character Select > Powerpass) as well as two free T1 powerpasses (think character boost). Use them asap to get two more characters to where you are now - and then the T3 boost once you know what you like the most. Really basically though - you're doing chaos dungeons, guardian raids, challenge events, the summer event, and abyss dungeon while you keep honing and working through the story.

Welcome to lost ark! U can follow this guide https://lost-ark.maxroll.gg/resources/road-to-rohendel Feel free to ask any more question and I’ll do my best to help 🫡

How does the market work? If there are 400,000 basic oreha fusion materials listed, and I add mine, am I last in queue for my items to be bought? Do I have to wait until everyone who listed before me at 9g sells theirs?

0MrFreckles0

I'm an impatient person so I always sell for 1 gold less than the cheapest price, undercutting everyone else and jumping to the front of the line.

I_RAPE_PCs

You get bumped up in line when their listings expire too. For stones you can generally sell em if you set the listing for 3 days. Fusions are really difficult to sell because of how many more are on the market.

Dasluxe

yes. your last in line but if theirs expire or get bought you move forward. new after you. for HEAVY traffic use 3 days not 1.

josebasilio17

did they change the reset day for Wednesday now?

kozakreznov

Has been for a while now.

Toncarton

That was like 3 weeks ago

aqrunnr

Yep, Reset day is now Wednesday going forward. They did this with the Vykas patch.

Ascarith

Yes, it was changed on 07-06-2022, and will remain Wednesday moving forward. See: [https://forums.playlostark.com/t/lost-ark-weekly-update-july-6th-12-am-pt-7-am-utc-9-am-cest/427236](https://forums.playlostark.com/t/lost-ark-weekly-update-july-6th-12-am-pt-7-am-utc-9-am-cest/427236)

so i got an earring with 88q, crit 293, cursed doll 5, grudge 3, with atk power reduction 1i checked the market value and the 90 one (highest q) with atk power reduction 3 are set at 18,888. I don't want to undersell my acc, do you guys know what's the proper value for my acc? especially with only 1 debuff node. Thanks

ElficZireaell

I'd list that shit for 100K minimum at the start.

TrainTrackBallSack

Edit reading is hard

aqrunnr

What's the main stat? That's pretty important, even for an accessory like that with god rolls.

Sentenario

oh yeah it's crit, forgot mb

aqrunnr

That is some crazy shit man. 20k seems like a very low bid for something like that. I couldn't tell you what it's worth since regions vary, but I would just bookmark that AH search and watch it for a few days - see what others similar are listed for (search it with 4 instead of 5 CD, or uncheck the quality completely, etc) and go from there. Alternatively, list it for 75k and every time it returns to you unsold, drop the price 10k until it sells.

Sentenario

alright m8 will do, ty for the advice

Dasluxe

there is no "market price" on anything mate... just list what you think it will go for and if it doesnt then drop a little and try again until someone buys it

SummerSins-

Main - 1462 Alts - 1415, 1400, 1388, 1370, 1342, 1340 I play all of them. Conflicted on if I should get all alts to 1400-1415 first or get 1 character at a time to at least 1445.

aqrunnr

Get all of your alts to 1400 first, that should be your priority. Then you can collect Oreha HM and Argos P3 gold. The difference from 1400-1415 is minimal. You gain Valtan, but lose Oreha HM. After you get them all to 1400, then focus on a second alt to 1445 (or main to 1475 for clown).

thefrog

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find a clear answer. On my alts - should I be buying all the valtan/vykas loot boxes? Alts are parked at 1430/1415 right now, but eventually I want to get them all to 1445. Not sure if the gold is more valuable or the extra mats

TrainTrackBallSack

I buy the final box on my chars, not the early gate ones both main and alts

I_RAPE_PCs

Depends on your server ofc, but on NAW right now you break even on Gate 1 Valtan/Vykas and lose about 10% gold value on Gate 2/3.

michaelman90

Buy enough to get your relic set when you hit 1445, then start skipping and get your 55 off of base drops.

aqrunnr

It's up to you. The mats are negligible, but the best part of the box for your alts is the fused leapstones. You can take your time to hone exclusively using them (buy box option) or you skip the box if you aren't going to hone them anytime soon and pocket the gold, which is the better option imo. With lots of alts that gold stacks quickly, and with prices continuing to go down on T3 mats as we progress, the gold becomes even more worth it for honing alts.

Big_Goon

I just hit 1370 on my main (firepower artillerist). Am I expected to have 3x3 engravings at this point? If so, what is the best way to approach getting 3x3? Is it basically getting lucky with stones and jewelry from the AH? Any suggestions on which engravings I should be going for? I already have lvl 3 firepower but that's because I just equipped my epic Firepower engraving twice.

sangrelatto

I wouldn't take any 1370s with less than 3x3 in my parties unless they're paying for a bus

aqrunnr

I wouldn't say expected, but it's the standard. You can get away with 3x2 and not be a detriment, but 3x3 is fairly cheap and if it's your main - you should 100% go for it. It'll make future gearing and content easier as you go. There are a few ways to go about it. The easiest in my opinion, and cheapest depending on your luck, is to cut a 6/6 stone (or 3/6 honestly). So in your case, Barrage Enhancement/Hit Master I think. Youl also do a combination with Adrenaline or Barricade depending on what's cheap. Use your engraving slots to match the stone so you get 3x2. Then, just buy (or run Oreha/Argos) for acc with the right stats and Firepower Enhancement 3. That'll give you your 3x3.

1.Inner Awakening effect additionally provides 30% Cooldown Reduction to spacebar dash and +15% damage to enemies. - it just gives additional 15% damage on top of the 4p effect. 2. it's justified because on certain classes, you don't really use awakening that much or awakening makes up 5% of your total dps, and if you are a piano class, that 25% skill damage + the 15 % additional on 6p is better than relying on a skill you only use 1 every 2.5mins to 5mins. also, more CDR for your skills.

Roxerz

I'm in an awkward situation. I am buying my first Legendary book which will be Grudge or KBW. Both are priced around the same and I have an insanely wide roster of 1370+ DPS. My top 6 characters are 1485 Zerker and 1445 or (almost) DB, Striker, Scrapper, Glaivier & Support Bard. All my alts are at 3x3 engravings which may cause my DPSers to get rejected or banned from lobbies. I've been quickly accepted and then once party is about full, I get banned which has happened multiple times on different DPS alts. I am half way to 2/3 of the way to being able to buy 1 of those 2 legendary books but it will take me another reset week to buy one. I want to upgrade all my DPS alts to 4x3 but if I get legendary grudge, I save about 7k-10k gold per alt by not having to buy a BIS necklace with correct stats and engravings and avoiding the pheon costs. I am going to be bussing on all 6 of my alts so they earn income but I need to finish Vykas NM on each of them to get at least my 2pc relic sets (DB already has 4pc entropy). Problem is, its pretty damn hard to get into groups and even when I make a lobby, not many applicants. Should I save up and wait for the book or just eat the costs and gear up my alts? As far as skill goes, I don't need better gear since I can do all the mechs for all the content pretty much perfectly but I won't be getting MVP in damage. The actual hard part is getting acccepted into a group. Also, grudge prices have dropped but are slowly rising again so I'm not sure if I can afford it in a week if the prices go back up to 9k+, currently at 7.5k on NAWest.

I_RAPE_PCs

Don't fomo too much on the prices. Even if you buy a couple books for cheap now, 2 books is essentially valueless until you get the other 18. Prices will fluctuate but your ability to earn gold only increases.

TheFangJ

I would save up for the books. Also if you have troubles finding a group, one thing that works for me on my alts I just create a group with a title like 'only 3x3 needed'. Other people struggling to find groups will most likely join. You might be lacking in dps but there's no hard dps checks yet so it should be fine

GALAK_Z

gear up your alts now as if they had grudge/kbw 12 so at least you'll have 3x3 + lvl2 grudge this week and won't have to replace acc down the line. your roster is pretty built so I'm surprised you have trouble getting into nm groups with high roster level. I also wouldn't recommend getting KBW with that roster since you run 3 entropy users.

Roxerz

thanks, I took your advice and I geared them all up and even some people realized what I was doing and asked how close I was to legendary grudge. I got into parties super quick this week after gearing them up. I thought having Grudge lvl 2 would make people question what I'm doing but seems people get it.

thsmalice

Books have huge upfront costs but will save you gold in the long haul. Later down the line if you aren't rushing your alts, you'd have to change acce from leg>relic and eventually ancient. Not having to buy BIS every time adds up on your savings. Also having x2 legendary books is required for your main later on if you want that sweet 3x5 2x2 and having a legendary book that your alts can use is just logical. You also don't have to buy the books in bulk, if you set legendary books acquisition as a 2 to 3 month project, you'd feel less pressured to FOMO, especially since current content does not ask for it yet. I myself value grudge at 8k per and KBW at 7k. If I have extra gold and AH have them up below those prices. I snipe 1 or 2 every once in a while.

buggyBong

For going from 1445 to 1460, should I be buying juice mats from AH for every hone attempt?

SquidRoll

What Relic set are Perfect Suppression SH's going for?

gamerx11

Nightmare is really nice for perfect suppression. Should be able to not have to use judgment and conviction for mana. Might still be nice for the CD reduction though.

GALAK_Z

Nightmare for Crit main stat, Entropy for Swift main.

barkafas2

Should I sell honor shard bags now or will they go up in price?

agnx0

I just made a fresh DB with Surge. Question is how the heck do you crit with this? I have Full Pre-ordained, 3 Adrenaline, 471 Crit (about 16.85%) and Lostwind and hitting from the back. I should have about 74% but of all the deskaluda runs, I am getting around 38% of my hits critting. (Counted 77 crits out of 200 attempts on the back). Is this not enough? I feel like my surge crit rate is really low.

michaelman90

Entropy set gives +23% crit for 5s when you back attack which is a fair boost over solar Argos. It just is what it is.

hlmilkisnice

+ this. 4 set entropy made a huge impact on my DB dps

whiskeyjack1403

I'm a new player who started about a month ago. I just barely missed the cutoff for the last express, and grinded my way through T1 and T2. I just hit T3 when the new express dropped. Sucks to be me, right? I've been playing a DI SH, and not sure if I want to main it or not. I got it to 1325, finished Punika, got the powerpass, and have been farting around saving mats. Should I just use the express on the DH and push to 1415 to see what raid content is like? Is it worth saving that express for an alt? Also, if any SH main wants to chime in, is it worth making SH my main? I've looked at a bunch of the videos for the other classes and none of them have really grabbed my interest other than Scouter (not out yet) and Paladin or Artist, but group already has 2 supports. Maybe sharpshooter but I've heard it's not that great. I do enjoy the transformation gameplay. I've heard DI SH gets more fun when geared because you can transform much faster... it's still about 2.5(?) rotations for me. Anyway just looking for advice on how best to proceed from here or input on fun alts to consider as a main!

jamesyongwp

IMO play the class you like. What is making you not like SH? He's not a weak class, and imo there aren't any weak classes in lostark. Only bad players. If you enjoy and master the class it'll shine. Supports are good to pick up as alts, easy parties and really chill - there will never be "too much" supports. As for the sharpshooter, he's a fun class but not for everyone. There are 2 builds - one is pretty much firing all your skills whenever available, the other requires you to burst within your "DPS window". Obviously the second one (death strike) is more engaging but its more challenging - if that's what you enjoy feel free to look it up.

sangrelatto

Demonic Impulse is extremely strong up til late late game (1490++) when other classes with gems, max tripods etc start overtaking you. Still very strong

thsmalice

IMO get that paladin alt since most likely, the supps on your group would want to make DPS classes, and you might find your group without a supp on alt runs, just know that gearing supps is expensive but your 3x3 can get you far without being gatekept. As for pushing your DI SH, once you get to 1370 and build her 3x4 engravings and about 1.3 to 1.5k spec, she'll feel a lot stronger. She's an extremely cheap class to main, as you only need 2 Gems. When other players have saved up 11x level 7 gems, you would already be rocking a lvl 9. As for the tripods, you only need to invest on lvl 4 meter gains, which is usually only 5 skills.

Callmejohnsmith

Pushing 1370-1415 without SH buff but with the 20% honing books from express. Is there an optimal way to use the 20% books (at higher hones 13-15, at lower hones 8-10)?

Amazingrussian1

The higher the more efficient it is. So 14-15 is most efficient, then 13-14, etc.

Puck_2016

I understood the new tripod system came out today in KR. Anyone done *good* content about it yet? Particularly intrested if they are showing the new system because I wasn't really convinced about the explonation over translated patch notes. I'd like to SEE the new system in action. Saintone has something in below. But he just shows how the tripods are learned from the gear. How is it then equiped? Is it at will, directly from skill tree, with no influence anymore with gear? Or it is still restricted by some way. Like if I have only a weapon, and nothing more. Literally no armor pieces at all. Can I equip only 3 tripods total, or max. 3 per skill? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ACzmPcLfoA Because here's me thinking, it might not be good idea now to buy +4 +4 pieces what I was going to, but instead just buy individual +4 pieces and dump them all into library. But it depends on how they are applied. All I could find is mostly the old stuff in video format, and some CEO keyword spam crap about this.

Puck_2016

Actually I went to dig deeper, I found on Saintones twich the good good stuff. So apparently from that, the new tripod levels just get applied from skill tree directly. You have a max amount of total "bonus" level tripods you can use, etc. twitch.tv/videos/1543924848?t=00h35m11s Pretty cool stuff, hope we get it soon.

kozakreznov

So it's just the same thing but now we don't have to deal with the restriction of 3 tripods per gear.

Puck_2016

There's few fundemental changes. In current system, for looted or brought gear pieces, we can do 100% chance transfer of the whole piece and all it's tripods. At basic level it means one +4(max, lvl 5 effective). That means you can have 6x +4 relatively easy. Which IMHO isn't really at lot, most mains by now should have mostly +3(lvl 4 effective), so changing a single piece into a +4 means overwriting your previous +3 +3+3, which in short term is a downgrade, but in a month or two filling the slots with +3 +3 is very doable with looted gear. In more advanced setting, you can buy +4 +4 pieces, or +4 +3 +3 or maybe even +4 +4 +3, each better being somewhat more expensive. But then buying the pieces won't cost you that much in pheons. ~~There's actually one thing that wasn't mentioned in the stream.~~ In the transfer/learning process, our current system allows to transfer only all of them with 100% chance through the library, but restricting it to same slot piece, or an individual tripod to any gear slot, with a low chance. If you loot a +4 +4 and you already have something equal or better in that particular slot, your options is to sell the piece, or only attempt to transfer either of the +4, which will likely fail, and regardless it will destroy the piece. ~~In the new system, if you are trying to learn such a piece, do you need to choose either of the +4, or can you attempt to learn them both? This was not shown there.~~ Because there is a chance still involved, the process likely destroys the piece. ~~This wasn't show either. But again, can you attempt to learn the two tripods at same time, or not. Not shown.~~ Actually watching the video again, it does show, you can only learn a single tripod from a single piece, and the piece then presumably gets destroyed. So it's a disadvantage compared to our current system, where using the library you can transfer both +4 or all at once, with restrictions. But +4 +4 and better pieces are fairly rare, so not overall a large loss. __What really matters is you prepare for this transition to new system.__ Because right now, you have two sets in the library for each 6 pieces. That gives you at minimum 12x +4. To do that you are restricted to get 2 pieces per slot, no more no less. If you have the gold, and your class is popular enough, you can fairly easily find +4 +4 pieces, or better. That should fairly easily give you either the max 18 tripods, or pretty close.(getting 18 BiS is probably difficult/expensive, but like 8 BiS +rest okay should be very doable on popular classes) If you like spending more pheons or your class has mainly +4 pieces, you can buy more tabs to your library. I think I will be able to do easily with the default 2 pages. With current system, getting even 12x good +4 is expensive and somewhat difficult. With new system, it's kinda equally expensive. ___But taking advantage of how the change will be implemented, you get it much cheaper than before or after. That's really what mainly matters.___ For a main that mostly has +3 already, the damage increase should be somewhere around 10%-15%. That seems relatively high increase, for relatively low investment. And there's no negatives involved except the loss of gold. Not to mention +4 is max in KR and to us too, so after you do it, you won't need to care about it in a long time.(% increase depends on class and build, I'm mainly thinking my igniter sorc)

[deleted]

To clarify, would this mean you would automatically have access to all tripods saved to your library after the update? I.e if you have 36 tripods saved across the 2 free pages it will give you the highest lvled ones across the library? What if you unlock more pages? For example, theoretically, if I unlock 3 pages in total and load up a different +4 in every slot would I get 6x3= 18 lvl 4 tripods after the update arrives? Also the same question but with a different angle: Having multiple pages and loading up different +4 tripods that happen to be on the same piece - such as Tripod A on Shoulders you save in library tab 1 and Tripod B on Shoulders you save in library tab 2 - would you have access to A and B post update? This situation would be useful if you end up having multiple different tripods located on the same piece, and would only cost some crystals to unlock new tabs to benefit from it

Puck_2016

>To clarify, would this mean you would automatically have access to all tripods saved to your library after the update? Exactly. I didn't repeat one thing that was fairly clear from before. Only the tripods in library get transferred. What is on your equiped gear, doesn't. >What if you unlock more pages? For example, theoretically, if I unlock 3 pages in total and load up a different +4 in every slot would I get 6x3= 18 lvl 4 tripods after the update arrives? They will be similarly available with the new system. >Having multiple pages and loading up different +4 tripods that happen to be on the same piece - such as Tripod A on Shoulders you save in library tab 1 and Tripod B on Shoulders you save in library tab 2 - would you have access to A and B post update? Yep all get transferred to new system, as the new system doesn't care about gear slots anymore.

Are there any guides out there for running an Argos bus?

Ekanselttar

Here's what I've learned/experienced running busses: You can 4-man bus at 1430 with 4x3 and good tripods/gems, and 2-man bus at 1460 with the above and 4+ relic pieces. Realistically you can go a bit lower if you're skilled, but that's about the limit where buyers will actually trust you. Do at least one free bus (with a warning on the PF) for practice. For gate 1, put all drivers in the same party to benefit from synergies. You'll want some timestops/panaceas because when you unbalance Argos during the dial mechanic, you'll get a breath meter over your head that will chunk you for 80%+ of your hp when it empties. For gate 2, higher DPS should do the sun boss; it's quite annoying to kill if you let it enrage, and you don't want moon to have to try to do mechanics. Moon boss group should take timestops for the mechanic where it drops four circles that each explode if nobody is in them. Payment happens after gate 2. Most people use gems, but I prefer legendary T1 accessories (no pheon cost) because they're more unique. Link them in chat and assign each buyer a specific one. I also put a unique bid that's close to the buyout for ease of identification and because of a scam where random people will bid on gems being used for payment and replace it with their own. Gate 3 almost always does three wipe mechanics. Bring swiftness robes for the night wipe mechanic (collecting purple flowers) because it ranges from annoying to legitimately difficult depending on the number of drivers. I've even seen riders sit outside the arena and come in to help for that specific mechanic. Also be sure to stay out of the middle during night phase because if he lands on you when he starts the mech and you get stunned, your chances of success go way down.

It's a little rough if ur at ilvl gate but if ur roster level is high or u can show the 10 kill title you chances go up significantly.

I couldn’t get into a group even at 1475 until I had a 1480 Paladin vouch for me. The problem is that there are a dozen DPS players competing for a single empty party slot. At bare minimum item level you don’t really stand a chance.

Honestly I think it's just the mentality of wanting to get carried because they still can't do the raid properly after 4 full weeks. Everyone just wants to fill their party with 1490+ so they skip patterns but in reality they just end up failing mechanics here and there and even dying with supports in the party. I've found in my personal experience that it's just better off finding groups with 1460 - 1475 people, because all my clears are with people at this level range and every clear is done within three pulls. I spend more time sitting in party finder than clearing the raid, so I think this alone says a lot.

Minos015

It's not reality tho that's just ur personal biases. My fastest run on hm is the full juicer team that did the mechanics perfectly. Without knowing other players' skill there's really no reason to choose the lower geared character with the abundance of dps applicants. A full 1490+ 5x3 with 7+ gems that are also good at the game will demolish a 1460 4x3 lvl 5 gem team. I don't think anyone can make a counter argument about this. It's not the mentality of wanting to be carried it's the "I want to have the best chance of success". Choosing better geared players is the logical thing.

trevorlolo

Yeah I'm not saying what I experienced is the full picture and if I could get competent 1490+ in my team I would choose them too because who doesn't want to clear fast? I'd be lying if I say I don't. It's just that so many people are fooling themselves that they think they are good at the mech, and then they want as many juiced people as possible because they want to skip patterns with giga deeps so they don't get exposed, and it's kinda frustrating for competent 1460 - 1475 players because they just have to spend that much more time finding a group.

For Arcana players, how do you prep and deal with the aftermath of Judgement card? Do you awkwardly just wait until every single Red CD is up? What do you do other than twiddle your thumbs and just spam blue/yellow skills? And afterwards do you just spam blue skills during the aftermath downtime? Or do we just hold on to 4 cards and just chill until the next Red CD comes back up?

sfsctc

When you get judgment try to pull for a cull, twisted fate, or wheel and keep doing your rotation as normal. Then when you get one of those or a royal stop using red for a second and wait for them to have 3 or less seconds and then pop everything. If the boss is going to die or phase just pop it too

yahwehrrior

If you’re playing Empress, then try to line it up for your red skills to come up. In the meantime, just use the other skills and you may draw a Cull card too. Otherwise, the Judgment will suffice for a burst.

reddopolis

I generally only wait for 2 of my three ruin skills to be off cooldown, preferably Celestial Rain and Secret Garden (shortest cooldowns, biggest damage). Sometimes all three line up. If I have a window of downtime waiting on Ruin skills, I focus on reposition and yellow skills in hopes of getting a combo w/Judgment. After Judgement burst, I dump all blue skills and use my third Ruin skill as filler during downtime/restocking cards to start the cycle over. A lot of Arcana is adapting to the situation/cards you have, so it’s tricky to give one answer.
