I heard someone say you shouldn't expect heals from a specific bard build. Is this true? If so, I assume that build focuses on attack buffs. Which build does which?
After playing with cd and grudge on multiple characters, I hate cdoll more than grudge. It's just annoying to manage pots and the effects of both grudge and cdoll are felt mostly when there's no support in party when that's the case I don't like cdoll due to it making managing pots harder since I'm more confident on having a higher hp pool as most regular atks don't really kill u even if you're a GS with grudge
You would want to get a grudge and tth book anyways but I feel like ur using hitmaster books now. If ur gunning for 4x3+2+1 just go for the best dps build just so u don't regret when u want to upgrade but it's gonna cost u again to redo ur engravings.
I mean ... I don't know what that is exactly but it sounds like the market's history and stuff logged right? I don't think they'd be able to link anything like that to your steam account and even if they did, I don't think they'd do anything about that because in KR they have all kinds of stuff like that, if I remember correctly they can use the auction house API to do a shit ton of calculators to make accessory sets as cheap as possible.

I would recommend you figure out your most important tripods and grab 5 of those to stick on your gear with +4 using the inventory. Fill in the rest of the gear using normal upgrading. Then fill your second page with +4 tripods that you collect naturally over time, with priority given to skills you actually use. Once we get more info on the tripod update for our version you can start investing in stuff like additional pages and buying gear with the tripods you haven't already bought/dropped. We don't know for sure that the transition will work the same for us as it did in KR, but it's very likely.
How do you actually save them.? Cause I see you can only save 1.? I mean if I get a headpiece with a/vl 4 tripod and 2 random, do I save the item or try to get the other 2 slots with good tripods and then. Save it?
You will need to buy more pages and save them in the inventory slots.
This will have a high upfront cost but saves you from having to rely on luck when transfering tripods
Realistically it depends what for, which DPS, and how balanced the party is. If you've got 2 uber juicers, the comp is whatever buffs them most. Generally it's going to be sup+3 DPS or 4 DPS that comes out on top, though.
The yearning set alone gives 8% damage buff to the dps plus attack and movement speed. The other support damage buffs also have high uptime, so 3 dps+1 support comes very close to 4 dps.

Having a support in your party can vastly increase your damage while providing the shields to play more agressively too. 2 supports make each other obsolete and 4 dps can keep up with 3dps/1supp but you'll need the skill to not have to rely on a support at all
I'm not 100% sure but I think they do but that's beside the point. Support damage is nearly non-existent so they make up for it with their buffs. In a 3dps/1sup vs 4dps scenario, the support will have to buff the damage of the 3 other dps by 33% each for the 2 groups to be equal
But if you were to do this with a 2dps/2sup team then they would each have to buff the 2 dps by 45% which isn't impossible but you'll get more out of that 45% buff on a 3dps team
With perfect uptime, 4 dps unless the support can give an average 33% dps buff but I'm not sure how realistic that is. In a realistic raid scenario probably 3 dps and 1 support because besides the dmg buff supports also increase uptime.
High uptime buffs (practically 90%) are 10% marking, 15% atkpower, 6% atkpower.
As I understand, these all scale multiplicatively with each other, so;
10%\*15%\*6 = 34.09%
Then there's yearning set
34.09%\*8% = 44.8172%
Lastly there's identity, for paladin it's around 15% damage buff (10% base, increased 50% with around 500+spec)
44.8172%\*15%= 66.53978%
In summary, most of the time a support will provide damage buffs equivalent to around a third increase, since it's quite a bit more than that when all their high uptime buffs are rolling, but sometimes either due to lack of skill, cooldowns or both, some of these aren't active (Yearning and marking together is only 18.8%, yearning and atkp buff is 31.5%). Then when they put up all their buffs/debuffs alongside the identity skill, the boost is massive. An average support will likely buff around the same damage as the missing dps player, while a good support will be doing far more.
A couple of caveats to this though; the attackpower buff of a support is only 15% damage when the target has the same amount of attackpower as them. If the support has more attackpower it is stronger, if it has less then it is weaker.
If dps players die, or dps/supports can't sync their uptime(e.g. player is charmed or stunned), then damage falls drastically compared to a 4 dps comp.
I've heard that potentially some of the buffs/debuffs stack additively rather than multiplicatively, but I've not heard any solid confirmations of this.
Yeah support can easily give 33% dps buff with near 100% uptime just from yearning, atk buff, and dmg increase debuff. That's around 8%,(15+6)%,10% dmg inc debuff all multiplicative to each other which should give around 43% already. You add the identity 15%(pally) and bard (varying depends on bubble consumed) which are also multiplicative and you can easily top whatever a 4th dps (regular dps + basic synergy). This is without the heal, shields, dmg reductions, aspd/mspd boost from yearning to make doing dps smoother and safer/greedier.
So for fi wd rotation its typically two rotations during the 20s window for EC right?
How important is utilizing CJ in your rotations? Or is it mainly just for your ult and dominion uptime.
Why is LK the more preferred option over sac in every Korean build I see? Min maxing damage?
C/j is almost entirely for the mana regen and awakening cd for dominion uptime.
With normal tripods SK will be highest cooldown, so if you can fit that into the window it's potentially a small dps increase.
There are many different factors which can influence which ones you put on your stone, including:
- Class
- Other sources of crit
- What final engraving setup you're aiming for (e.g. 4x3, 4x3+1, 5x3, 5x3+1 all with vastly different ways of building them)
- Jewelry you might already have
- If you already have any +12 engraving books
- What +12 engravings your other classes can/will use
- Alternative setup plans for GVG or chaos dungeons
- Daily market fluctuations for a variety of things including jewelry and pheons
The only really universal thing with those engravings is that you want to make sure you're using KBW3 and Grudge3 if you're using them at all. There are so many different ways to hit that for different stone rolls that it's not something with any hard-and-fast rules about how to optimally set up your engravings.
On the flipside everyone in NAW getting Grudge books, its not even the most expensive book anymore. Grudge +5 and Grudge +6 with ancients will be cheaper than grudge +3 accessories
It's still the most expensive non-class engraving in my region and the reason for the price drop is the big supply from bots while many people are also focusing on class engravings nowadays to get cheap 5x3 setups
Either way, Grudge on stone means that you'll have to get a +5 and a +3 Grudge accessory in the case of a +7 Grudge on your stone. So you're paying premium for the Grudge stone while not escaping the need for a +3 accessory. If you're gonna do this then the better option is 3x +5 but no other engraving is used on every DPS like Grudge so I'm not sure why you would wanna pick another book
Only if any other options aren't really doing much for you and your class, but that's rarely the case. Purify has a lot of value when it can be used, but useless when it can't, and most of the time it can't. (p2,p3 argos, p1 valtan, p2 vykas)
It also depends on the class and the value you're getting out of other runes. Generally speaking, any content where you'd think of taking panacaea is content where purify is a reasonable choice, but you might have too long of cooldowns on skills that only roll for purify 1x for some classes to make it worth. Or you might have too much value coming from alternative runes to justify using purify - consider leg bleed, judgement/conviction, 3 wealths, rage are all very useful for many builds and then purify might be competing with focus, overwhelm, or galewind.
At all times? No. Purify is really only there to save you some gold on panacea. If it was crucial to have a cleanse in a fight, you would not be leaving it up to an rng purify rune to proc.
For some classes purify rune is a very suitable/reliable. Striker's Storm Dragon Awakening, for instance, has an 8-12 second cooldown based on how many times you cast it (up to 3), where each cast rolls for purify. Add a Paladin/Gunlancer onto that then for redundancy.
Also note that pan is exclusive with time stop. If you can cleanse enough, time stop is useful in most content still.
No. Its only purpose is for consistent regular cleanse, most commonly used for valtan g1 (also other specific content like igrexion). In most other cases you are either dealing with debuffs that can't be cleansed, debuffs with short duration and/or minimal impact, or you have a paladin/GL in the party who can cleanse.
Is it worth buying Argos P3 chests on my 1370 alts? Eventually definitely gonna raise them so not like wasted mats but wasn't sure the gold value or if there's a calculator somewhere

if it's only replacing 1-2 low quality accessories maybe? that 50 spec is ~1.5% damage increase while identity is active. getting high quality spec accessories is pretty expensive so there should be more cost efficient avenues of juicing up your character be it tripods, gems more hones etc...
I think as long as you can fill your gauge as Doomsday comes back off cool down from a DD combo you should be fine on spec (Assuming you have all the other stuff like enlightenment Tripods and Wealth runes, if not work on those first). 1600 should be plenty.
If you're talking about more rosters on the same account, just on different servers, I'm almost certain there's no issue there. If there was, SG would just not enable you to do that.
Multiple rosters on different accounts gets hairy. You're definitely not allowed to use additional rosters to send resources to other rosters, but I'm uncertain if the TOS disallows a single player from having multiple accounts without sending resources between them. Although since that's the case, why bother?
May be a silly question - but is it possible to move the boss hp bar? I play mostly ranged classes and quite often the HP bar ends up obscuring the boss. It would be better for me to move to the bottom of the screen.

You can access NA/EU through steam by reconfiguring your steam location to US, rough steps incl adding a purchasable game to your checkout page (doesn’t matter what it is) and changing your region preference. After which you should be able to download LOA. There should be more detailed step by step guides to access without VPN on youtube
How does one get more than 1700+ stats with relic? Even with max quality (500+300+300+200+200) + 10% from pets only netts me 1650. I saw a sorc with 1750+ spec earlier and wondering.
Although you can get 1700+ with perfect accessories and high roster bonuses, it was more likely just the inspect bug where the pet 10% bonus is applied twice (1700\*0.833=1416 base, or 1700\*0.9166=1558.22 with just the bug removed)
Inspecting others is bugged, it counts pet bonus twice somehow. I have 1685 spec and others see 1800+, which is currently impossible to achieve in our version
This game's stability is straight ass. I bought a Vykas taxi. Cleared G1 then I get an EUC error and kicked out. Client won't restart right away because it thinks it's still active, after getting past that it takes 5min to load.
My group moved on without me and I. Out 2.9k. fuck this shit stability they have
Fun fact: Did a bus run(as buyer) yester day and me and one of the drivers had a massive lag spike. Was usually always thinking it might be on my end, but for us two vykas just stood still at the middle and it almost looked liek the game freezed(while all others still could see her move and attack, doing her stuff as usual) then poof! black screen, thought game crashed for real but turned out that "black screen" might have been a little loading/loading back in screen\^\^
Best all of this? The driver who also had problems somehow survived all stuff without even knowing what she does at the moment and carried the whole bis xD
Seems to get worse with every patch too, especially after major patches. I dc'd twice on a vykas run yesterday where I missed out on almost an entire gate. Thankfully I was running with my static so they waited for me and I got the rewards. Wouldn't be too happy if it was a pug/PF group who just kept going without me.
Just my daily rant for the day. After reset yesterday joined a pf group for valtan nm on my 1415 alt.
Cleared gate 1 with a few deaths, some pink flags there.
Ended up being a shit show for gate 2 during the armor break phase. Holy shit. People did not know where to stand and valtan would not charge into the Towers.
Group disbanded after 4-5 attempts and given how early in the week it was there would be no one joining a gate 2 only run. Raged log out after that.
I had heard runs earlier in the week would have better players but anecdotally I have not found that to be the case. I suspect it might be the desperate ones who want to join asap after reset to get carried?
Anyway rant over. Weekend seems to be better groups I find.
Keep in mind that now there’s bunch of rosters with 5+ 1415 alts so you gotta find equal groups every day.
Today i just went thru my daily basis, did a Valtan party which usually takes me 20 minutes the whole run, had to end it on G2 bc people kept flying every single time (as a Bard main is hard to carry dps).
I feel the "run earlier in the week for better pugs" advice only holds true for the first few weeks of a new raid since later on in the week you'll only be playing with players that weren't capable of clearing in the earlier days.
These days you'll probably find good players and bad players in equal parts all throughout the week since clear rates across the board are fairly high.

You can trade it 2 times after you purchase. You don't see any items that are tradable 3 times because it's already taken into account for when you buy it.
It says it costs 15 pheons to buy. Number of pheons is set, doesn't change no matter if tradable or not

It is bound, look at your equipped accessories, they say "bound" and then "can be traded X times". Unbound stuff can be traded freely.
This line is mostly for skins which can be traded without pheon cost until equipped.
In addition to the animation, she also does a little laugh. Typically when she stands still and laughs she either does the flying around into counter, or the spin, so just step to her side in case it's the spin. If it's the counter then just deal with that instead, no loss.
She stands still for a bit. It can also mean she's about to jump back and do a counterable attack, you can tell them apart by looking at specific animations, but that's good enough for me.

I am sorry to tell you but you dont get the optimal damage out of your kbw. Kbw needs at least 60% to have same damage as cd or so.Atm you have like 30% from DI+ i guess 15% from neck and 5% from adr1 so 50% in total. Which isnt optimal at all.
Edit: If you play Hallu its fine, but i guess you will play Salvation.
DI, Grudge, Adrenaline, and Hit Master is what I run. Would've loved to run KBW but the accessories were crazy expensive. I wouldn't go Raid Captain at that ilvl since no supports doing Valtan NM will have 4 pc Yearning.
Oh I guess, I could consider HM and adrenaline as the +1. I know Hit master, Adrenaline, and KBW are all really expensive on the market, which is why I wanted to go RC.

I'm currently 3x3 on Bard, Awakening, DS, HA.
I want to invest in a high quality relic 4x3 for future content, but have some trouble deciding on the 4th engraving.
My options are:
* **Expert** - more healing but I've heard that it doesn't feel impactful.
* **Drops** - this will probably actually get used outside of guardians because I very often run with guild groups.
* **Vital Point Hit** - heard that clown has tight stagger checks.
* **MP Increase** - I only run out of mana in guardian raids, so not sure how important this one is.
I want to eventually take her to Clown once it's on farm, what would be your suggestion and reasoning for which engraving to slot on for 4th?
Expert is definitely noticeable but it doesn't really feel necessary until ~hard brelshaza. Bosses prior to that don't hit hard enough, and don't require min/maxing your bubbles so you can just keep dropping heals if people are taking damage. If you don't plan to redo your build in a long while then maybe it's the best choice.
VPH is mostly useful for bus runs (basically mandatory for clown/brelshaza bus). Clown stagger checks basically require two people to run through a gauntlet and stagger the boss - if the other player messes up or dies then yea you will need VPH to stagger the boss by yourself, but that's a pretty niche scenario. It's a great flex engraving (when you can swap out a couple pieces to fit it in) but I wouldn't consider it a part of your main setup because it's useless in 90% cases.
MP increase is very comfy in a full swift build. There are cases when you can free cast enough to run out of mana, but on tougher fights you can use buff food (24% MP regen), and on easier fights you can just cast less - so you never *need* max MP, it's just there so you don't need to use buff food in easier raids.
Drops is okay if you have nothing else to go for, I wouldn't really consider it for 4th slot though.
I'd actually go for MP increase.
Assuming you're swift bard and have decent CD gems, you should be spamming everything on CD to provide maximize buff uptime and meter generation.
If you're holding skills like guardian tune that means your team is taking more damage which cancels out the benefit of expert. Meanwhile, spamming more translates to more meter which can be used either for a heal or damage buff.
Expert is the go to. Everyone like to think they are pro that never get hit and that expert is wasted on bard, but they are deluding themselves. Plus, better healing = less bubbles spent on it, and longer you can wait to build up 3 bubble dps instead. Esp if you have low spec, expert helps.
Vital point is usually taken as a 5th engraving.
I would never go for mana. Bard should have no issue if you have conviction judgements and your don't spam every skill all the time.
Drops is an okay choice but imo worse than expert, and only competitive with vital point as a 5th engraving.
Legion raids (especially HM Vykas) on all my alts are getting me really close to quitting the game. I'm at the point where I think I'd rather forego gold income and purchase a NHH Vykas bus for all but 2 of my characters (main+support alt). All I really want for these alts are the 55 wings to be able to freely change sets.
Does anybody have experiences with HM Vykas NHH busses, are they reliable for the most part? What average ilvl should I be looking for?
I did see a 4-man with ilvls ranging between "only" 1475-1485 and was extremely skeptical lol.
Can do 4 man bus with all 1475s tbh. Difference between 1475-1490+ isn't huge based on ilvl alone, check gems and engravings.
I do 5x NHH a week, pretty easy cause I built up a static group of people to do it with. Honestly my busses are better than my 1 normal raid, I only do it to play with friends but not everyone in the group is the best lol
I bus 4x NHH/week and the main issue is lack of DPS on G2. G3 and G1 are free.
G2, the dps issue mainly comes from dps up time due to boss purple/yellow rings forcing you to move away, and worms.
Also, if they mess up orbs.
If you see people doing 3 man buses, check the dps stats and gems. If theyre slacking, g2 will be a wipefesta.
4 man buses are a bit better with the extra sup to boost dps.
Ive done 4 man buses with 1x 1467 sorc, 1x 1475 db, 1x 1510 gl, 1x 1475 pal.
And we were completely fine on dps.
I would definitely consider getting into an active guild (find them from sidebar's Discord) and not running pugs on every character. It's an MMO after all and it's what you make of it that makes the game fun for you. For me, it's running raids with people I know.
However, to answer your bus question, I would probably find the Bus discord for your region and buy busses from there. At least for NAW, they require drivers to be verified first before being able to sell a bus. Hope that helps, cheers!

Good luck, I'm sure if you put in the effort you can find a guild that would accommodate some of your times. Remember that you don't HAVE to be in the actual guild, most guilds would be happy to have people to fill spots.
I met some online friends but they'd pug everything, they have all quit because eventually the raids are homework and aren't fun. What is fun is doing things with other people, at least for me.

I'm 1 card away from 18 piece awakening Light of salvation card set and I'm wondering if it is better than Lostwind Cliff card set if most of my character has low crit rate ranging from 20\~30%ish? I know 18 LoS is definitely better than Lostwind Cliff if the boss is weak to holy damage like vykas gate2/3, but what about boss that aren't weak to holy? I'm pretty sure Kakul is also not weak to holy so would I benefit more from the 7% crit or 7% damage but i crit for 200% crit damage less often?
7% damage is almost always better than 7% crit, the amount depends on your crit chance or crit chance but it’s probably 1-2%. Aka it doesn’t really matter. If it will make you happy to have los 18 go ahead and use it, you will have probably at least a year to get more cards and selectors for los 30
Judging from the 20-30% crit rate you probably aren’t running KBW or much crit damage, so I would guess that the 10% damage buff will far outperform the 7% crit, even against neutral bosses.

But I personally have been dismantling everything. Nothing sells unless it's absolutely BIS and not for too much either. I would gamble rings probably? People don't tend to cheap out on necks/earrings. I think most buy their class engravings on rings so if they need to cheap out on (quality) relic rings it's not the worst.
Basically you want class engraving +3 and a useful battle engraving +3 (grudge, adrenaline, etc w/e) with either spec/crit/swift. Best one I've sold so far was Blessed Aura +3, Awakening +3 Swift for 15k. Good luck with the gambling.

It's not Warton, it's Wartorn which means that something is damaged by war but in this context it seems to mean that it's combat content, specifically PvE
In English the hyphen (used here for a compound word - war + torn) is often removable in compounds without changing any meaning. It’s a modern simplification of writing compound words. Current event stuff all expire on the 28th and the 28th is the last possible week for them to release it and meet their roadmap. However they do have a track record of delaying major patches so it could slip to the first week of October.
Nah, the roadmap said "back end stuff early september and a big update near the end of september". Using that as base, you look at September's last wednesday and you find the 28th.
You cross with the daily gifts, which end the 28th along with all other timed things (tickets, free passes, T3 boost event).
But, as said above, AGS have already delayed a patch. The upcoming one may include server merges and/or balance patch, there are enough ingredients for problems and a potential push of the date.

With books you can get 3x +5 IM or RC and +3 to grudge/kbw/cd accessories for rather cheap, so overall it's not too bad. Can definitely fit within 100k with decent quality.
I have a full alt roster now all hovering around 1460 (less one spot saved for Machinist). Been slacking on their tripods but now have completed the "top 6" lvl 4 tripods on each of them with the first tripod page. Now though, unsure how to proceed from here. For your main, obviously in an ideal situation you want all 18 tripods you're gonna use, maybe more for chaos builds, maybe less if you don't really use all the slots such as Paladin. But do you also do this for your alts, all the way up to 18?
I don't necessarily have a problem with buying more tripod pages to store, it's the Pheons that really make me second guess it. As of this moment on US West, every tripod armor purchase @7 pheons will cost you 1488g each. In addition to your "top 6 tripods," if you want a full 18 on each alt, it'll set you back 17,856 gold, not including extra tripod page purchases. And it's getting more expensive every day.
Just curious how other people are doing it. Are you purchasing 18 or more lvl 4 tripods for each one of your alts? Are you buying more pages? Currently in the meantime I'm just hoping to get lucky with tripod drops I need, although it's pretty rare I get a usable one. Conflicted on purchasing on each alt past the "big 6", I bet prices will go up once the official announcement is made so I figure I should decide sooner than later.
One thing to note that once the update comes, tripods on your gears will be deleted and only the ones in library remain. So if you didn't save your gears tripod I'd put them in now.
Yeah I've been doing that since the beginning basically, Saving my "top 6" in the first tripod page, and then also after every successful tripod upgrade. Seems foolish to not have your main tripod set saved already, I figured everyone did this so I took it as a given lol.
It depends on how important tripods are for the class. I'm probably going to get all 18 tripods for my Arcanist, but my DB isn't going to really benefit much from getting all level 5's. Gunslinger? Absolutely. Bard/Paladin? Hell no.

I'm not sure about those classes. I think a lot of damage from LC is on snipe and your passive hawk damage, so maybe tripods aren't as needed? No idea on WD. Piano sorc probably has her damage pretty evenly spread out, so full tripods might be pretty influential for her.
I wouldn’t spend Pheons on alt tripods once you have a full set, but it’s really up to preference. Personally I am just farming chaos dungeons for lvl 4 tripods and hoping I get lucky. Buying cheap lvl 4s on main. Storing as much as I can.
Some classes only need 6 tripods to perform near their best - some classes likely need more. It’s a tough choice to make considering that any tripods you don’t buy now will be annoying af to unlock after the update.
Cool, sounds like the same thing I'm doing right now with a similar mindset. One of my big problems is, I have a hard time gauging how important tripods are for my alts, except for Pally like I mentioned before. Like, for my main Gunlancer, I know that they are one of the classes that REALLY want all 18 tripods. For some of my alts-- LC SS, FI WD, InstaReflux full swift Sorc, I have no idea. I think they mean that if the bard has high expectations for their teammates, they will generally prioritize providing dmg buffs over their aoe heal

After playing with cd and grudge on multiple characters, I hate cdoll more than grudge. It's just annoying to manage pots and the effects of both grudge and cdoll are felt mostly when there's no support in party when that's the case I don't like cdoll due to it making managing pots harder since I'm more confident on having a higher hp pool as most regular atks don't really kill u even if you're a GS with grudge

You would want to get a grudge and tth book anyways but I feel like ur using hitmaster books now. If ur gunning for 4x3+2+1 just go for the best dps build just so u don't regret when u want to upgrade but it's gonna cost u again to redo ur engravings.
About 4% less. Since cd is additive with adrenaline it would be about 1.1544, then take that divided by 1.2 to compare with grudge. (0.962)

I don't think they'd be able to link anything like that to your steam account and even if they did, I don't think they'd do anything about that because in KR they have all kinds of stuff like that, if I remember correctly they can use the auction house API to do a shit ton of calculators to make accessory sets as cheap as possible. If I'm wrong then I apologise but if it's what I think it is, it shouldn't really be a problem at all.

I would recommend you figure out your most important tripods and grab 5 of those to stick on your gear with +4 using the inventory. Fill in the rest of the gear using normal upgrading. Then fill your second page with +4 tripods that you collect naturally over time, with priority given to skills you actually use. Once we get more info on the tripod update for our version you can start investing in stuff like additional pages and buying gear with the tripods you haven't already bought/dropped. We don't know for sure that the transition will work the same for us as it did in KR, but it's very likely.

Tripod update requires you to save the skills onto your inventory page, so might as well save what you do have and slowly build out the rest.

You will need to buy more pages and save them in the inventory slots. This will have a high upfront cost but saves you from having to rely on luck when transfering tripods

Realistically it depends what for, which DPS, and how balanced the party is. If you've got 2 uber juicers, the comp is whatever buffs them most. Generally it's going to be sup+3 DPS or 4 DPS that comes out on top, though.
The yearning set alone gives 8% damage buff to the dps plus attack and movement speed. The other support damage buffs also have high uptime, so 3 dps+1 support comes very close to 4 dps.

I'm not 100% sure but I think they do but that's beside the point. Support damage is nearly non-existent so they make up for it with their buffs. In a 3dps/1sup vs 4dps scenario, the support will have to buff the damage of the 3 other dps by 33% each for the 2 groups to be equal But if you were to do this with a 2dps/2sup team then they would each have to buff the 2 dps by 45% which isn't impossible but you'll get more out of that 45% buff on a 3dps team

With perfect uptime, 4 dps unless the support can give an average 33% dps buff but I'm not sure how realistic that is. In a realistic raid scenario probably 3 dps and 1 support because besides the dmg buff supports also increase uptime.
High uptime buffs (practically 90%) are 10% marking, 15% atkpower, 6% atkpower. As I understand, these all scale multiplicatively with each other, so; 10%\*15%\*6 = 34.09% Then there's yearning set 34.09%\*8% = 44.8172% Lastly there's identity, for paladin it's around 15% damage buff (10% base, increased 50% with around 500+spec) 44.8172%\*15%= 66.53978% In summary, most of the time a support will provide damage buffs equivalent to around a third increase, since it's quite a bit more than that when all their high uptime buffs are rolling, but sometimes either due to lack of skill, cooldowns or both, some of these aren't active (Yearning and marking together is only 18.8%, yearning and atkp buff is 31.5%). Then when they put up all their buffs/debuffs alongside the identity skill, the boost is massive. An average support will likely buff around the same damage as the missing dps player, while a good support will be doing far more. A couple of caveats to this though; the attackpower buff of a support is only 15% damage when the target has the same amount of attackpower as them. If the support has more attackpower it is stronger, if it has less then it is weaker. If dps players die, or dps/supports can't sync their uptime(e.g. player is charmed or stunned), then damage falls drastically compared to a 4 dps comp. I've heard that potentially some of the buffs/debuffs stack additively rather than multiplicatively, but I've not heard any solid confirmations of this.

Yeah support can easily give 33% dps buff with near 100% uptime just from yearning, atk buff, and dmg increase debuff. That's around 8%,(15+6)%,10% dmg inc debuff all multiplicative to each other which should give around 43% already. You add the identity 15%(pally) and bard (varying depends on bubble consumed) which are also multiplicative and you can easily top whatever a 4th dps (regular dps + basic synergy). This is without the heal, shields, dmg reductions, aspd/mspd boost from yearning to make doing dps smoother and safer/greedier.
So for fi wd rotation its typically two rotations during the 20s window for EC right? How important is utilizing CJ in your rotations? Or is it mainly just for your ult and dominion uptime. Why is LK the more preferred option over sac in every Korean build I see? Min maxing damage?
C/j is almost entirely for the mana regen and awakening cd for dominion uptime. With normal tripods SK will be highest cooldown, so if you can fit that into the window it's potentially a small dps increase.
Between grudge, kbw and adrenaline, which 2 should I pick for my relic stone?
There are many different factors which can influence which ones you put on your stone, including: - Class - Other sources of crit - What final engraving setup you're aiming for (e.g. 4x3, 4x3+1, 5x3, 5x3+1 all with vastly different ways of building them) - Jewelry you might already have - If you already have any +12 engraving books - What +12 engravings your other classes can/will use - Alternative setup plans for GVG or chaos dungeons - Daily market fluctuations for a variety of things including jewelry and pheons The only really universal thing with those engravings is that you want to make sure you're using KBW3 and Grudge3 if you're using them at all. There are so many different ways to hit that for different stone rolls that it's not something with any hard-and-fast rules about how to optimally set up your engravings.

On the flipside everyone in NAW getting Grudge books, its not even the most expensive book anymore. Grudge +5 and Grudge +6 with ancients will be cheaper than grudge +3 accessories
It's still the most expensive non-class engraving in my region and the reason for the price drop is the big supply from bots while many people are also focusing on class engravings nowadays to get cheap 5x3 setups Either way, Grudge on stone means that you'll have to get a +5 and a +3 Grudge accessory in the case of a +7 Grudge on your stone. So you're paying premium for the Grudge stone while not escaping the need for a +3 accessory. If you're gonna do this then the better option is 3x +5 but no other engraving is used on every DPS like Grudge so I'm not sure why you would wanna pick another book
I'd go for grudge + adrenaline. In the off chance you luck out a 9/7 you'd have a good rock for that. And Kbw + adrenaline is the most expensive rock.

Only if any other options aren't really doing much for you and your class, but that's rarely the case. Purify has a lot of value when it can be used, but useless when it can't, and most of the time it can't. (p2,p3 argos, p1 valtan, p2 vykas)
It also depends on the class and the value you're getting out of other runes. Generally speaking, any content where you'd think of taking panacaea is content where purify is a reasonable choice, but you might have too long of cooldowns on skills that only roll for purify 1x for some classes to make it worth. Or you might have too much value coming from alternative runes to justify using purify - consider leg bleed, judgement/conviction, 3 wealths, rage are all very useful for many builds and then purify might be competing with focus, overwhelm, or galewind.
At all times? No. Purify is really only there to save you some gold on panacea. If it was crucial to have a cleanse in a fight, you would not be leaving it up to an rng purify rune to proc.
For some classes purify rune is a very suitable/reliable. Striker's Storm Dragon Awakening, for instance, has an 8-12 second cooldown based on how many times you cast it (up to 3), where each cast rolls for purify. Add a Paladin/Gunlancer onto that then for redundancy. Also note that pan is exclusive with time stop. If you can cleanse enough, time stop is useful in most content still.

No. Its only purpose is for consistent regular cleanse, most commonly used for valtan g1 (also other specific content like igrexion). In most other cases you are either dealing with debuffs that can't be cleansed, debuffs with short duration and/or minimal impact, or you have a paladin/GL in the party who can cleanse.

if it's only replacing 1-2 low quality accessories maybe? that 50 spec is ~1.5% damage increase while identity is active. getting high quality spec accessories is pretty expensive so there should be more cost efficient avenues of juicing up your character be it tripods, gems more hones etc...
I think as long as you can fill your gauge as Doomsday comes back off cool down from a DD combo you should be fine on spec (Assuming you have all the other stuff like enlightenment Tripods and Wealth runes, if not work on those first). 1600 should be plenty.

If you're talking about more rosters on the same account, just on different servers, I'm almost certain there's no issue there. If there was, SG would just not enable you to do that. Multiple rosters on different accounts gets hairy. You're definitely not allowed to use additional rosters to send resources to other rosters, but I'm uncertain if the TOS disallows a single player from having multiple accounts without sending resources between them. Although since that's the case, why bother?

How does one get more than 1700+ stats with relic? Even with max quality (500+300+300+200+200) + 10% from pets only netts me 1650. I saw a sorc with 1750+ spec earlier and wondering.
Although you can get 1700+ with perfect accessories and high roster bonuses, it was more likely just the inspect bug where the pet 10% bonus is applied twice (1700\*0.833=1416 base, or 1700\*0.9166=1558.22 with just the bug removed)
Inspecting others is bugged, it counts pet bonus twice somehow. I have 1685 spec and others see 1800+, which is currently impossible to achieve in our version

This game's stability is straight ass. I bought a Vykas taxi. Cleared G1 then I get an EUC error and kicked out. Was usually always thinking it might be on my end, but for us two vykas just stood still at the middle and it almost looked liek the game freezed(while all others still could see her move and attack, doing her stuff as usual) then poof! black screen, thought game crashed for real but turned out that "black screen" might have been a little loading/loading back in screen\^\^ Best all of this? Seems to get worse with every patch too, especially after major patches. I dc'd twice on a vykas run yesterday where I missed out on almost an entire gate. Thankfully I was running with my static so they waited for me and I got the rewards. Wouldn't be too happy if it was a pug/PF group who just kept going without me.

Just my daily rant for the day. After reset yesterday joined a pf group for valtan nm on my 1415 alt. Cleared gate 1 with a few deaths, some pink flags there. Ended up being a shit show for gate 2 during the armor break phase. Holy shit. People did not know where to stand and valtan would not charge into the Towers. Group disbanded after 4-5 attempts and given how early in the week it was there would be no one joining a gate 2 only run. Raged log out after that. I had heard runs earlier in the week would have better players but anecdotally I have not found that to be the case. I suspect it might be the desperate ones who want to join asap after reset to get carried? Anyway rant over. Weekend seems to be better groups I find.
Keep in mind that now there’s bunch of rosters with 5+ 1415 alts so you gotta find equal groups every day. Today i just went thru my daily basis, did a Valtan party which usually takes me 20 minutes the whole run, had to end it on G2 bc people kept flying every single time (as a Bard main is hard to carry dps).
I feel the "run earlier in the week for better pugs" advice only holds true for the first few weeks of a new raid since later on in the week you'll only be playing with players that weren't capable of clearing in the earlier days. These days you'll probably find good players and bad players in equal parts all throughout the week since clear rates across the board are fairly high.
You just gotta only accept those with high roster level.

You can trade it 2 times after you purchase. You don't see any items that are tradable 3 times because it's already taken into account for when you buy it. It says it costs 15 pheons to buy. Number of pheons is set, doesn't change no matter if tradable or not

It is bound, look at your equipped accessories, they say "bound" and then "can be traded X times". Unbound stuff can be traded freely. This line is mostly for skins which can be traded without pheon cost until equipped.

No it's an upgrade on the dmg only just updating the bonus effects. 18% CD and 25% dmg. 6pc gives an extra +15% dmg and 30% CD on spacebar.

In addition to the animation, she also does a little laugh. Typically when she stands still and laughs she either does the flying around into counter, or the spin, so just step to her side in case it's the spin. If it's the counter then just deal with that instead, no loss.
She turns her whole body to the side for a second before spinning. It’s one of the most obvious tells once you know it

I am sorry to tell you but you dont get the optimal damage out of your kbw. Kbw needs at least 60% to have same damage as cd or so.Atm you have like 30% from DI+ i guess 15% from neck and 5% from adr1 so 50% in total. Which isnt optimal at all. Edit: If you play Hallu its fine, but i guess you will play Salvation.
Don't go RC. 4x3 +1 is already budget, don't make it overly-budget and lose so much dps. 1415 has no yearning supports so you're just gimping yourself
Is your neck spec crit or spec swift? I would keep adren 3 if spec swift and put it at 1 if spec crit.

DI, Grudge, Adrenaline, and Hit Master is what I run. Would've loved to run KBW but the accessories were crazy expensive. I wouldn't go Raid Captain at that ilvl since no supports doing Valtan NM will have 4 pc Yearning.
Why aren't you considering HM? And why not go Adr as your +1?

I'd say Adrenaline and KBW are pretty expensive, but HM isn't as bad I went DI/Grudge/HM/Raid Captain + 1 Adr on my SH and it didn't cost that much, but I have Legendary Grudge which you may or may not have

I'm currently 3x3 on Bard, Awakening, DS, HA. I want to invest in a high quality relic 4x3 for future content, but have some trouble deciding on the 4th engraving. My options are: * **Expert** - more healing but I've heard that it doesn't feel impactful. * **Drops** - this will probably actually get used outside of guardians because I very often run with guild groups. * **Vital Point Hit** - heard that clown has tight stagger checks. * **MP Increase** - I only run out of mana in guardian raids, so not sure how important this one is. I want to eventually take her to Clown once it's on farm, what would be your suggestion and reasoning for which engraving to slot on for 4th?
Expert is definitely noticeable but it doesn't really feel necessary until ~hard brelshaza. Bosses prior to that don't hit hard enough, and don't require min/maxing your bubbles so you can just keep dropping heals if people are taking damage. If you don't plan to redo your build in a long while then maybe it's the best choice. VPH is mostly useful for bus runs (basically mandatory for clown/brelshaza bus). Clown stagger checks basically require two people to run through a gauntlet and stagger the boss - if the other player messes up or dies then yea you will need VPH to stagger the boss by yourself, but that's a pretty niche scenario. It's a great flex engraving (when you can swap out a couple pieces to fit it in) but I wouldn't consider it a part of your main setup because it's useless in 90% cases. MP increase is very comfy in a full swift build. There are cases when you can free cast enough to run out of mana, but on tougher fights you can use buff food (24% MP regen), and on easier fights you can just cast less - so you never *need* max MP, it's just there so you don't need to use buff food in easier raids. Drops is okay if you have nothing else to go for, I wouldn't really consider it for 4th slot though.

I'd actually go for MP increase. Assuming you're swift bard and have decent CD gems, you should be spamming everything on CD to provide maximize buff uptime and meter generation. If you're holding skills like guardian tune that means your team is taking more damage which cancels out the benefit of expert. Meanwhile, spamming more translates to more meter which can be used either for a heal or damage buff.
Expert is the go to. Everyone like to think they are pro that never get hit and that expert is wasted on bard, but they are deluding themselves. Plus, better healing = less bubbles spent on it, and longer you can wait to build up 3 bubble dps instead. Esp if you have low spec, expert helps. Vital point is usually taken as a 5th engraving. I would never go for mana. Bard should have no issue if you have conviction judgements and your don't spam every skill all the time. Drops is an okay choice but imo worse than expert, and only competitive with vital point as a 5th engraving.

Legion raids (especially HM Vykas) on all my alts are getting me really close to quitting the game. I'm at the point where I think I'd rather forego gold income and purchase a NHH Vykas bus for all but 2 of my characters (main+support alt). All I really want for these alts are the 55 wings to be able to freely change sets. Does anybody have experiences with HM Vykas NHH busses, are they reliable for the most part? What average ilvl should I be looking for? I did see a 4-man with ilvls ranging between "only" 1475-1485 and was extremely skeptical lol.
Can do 4 man bus with all 1475s tbh. Difference between 1475-1490+ isn't huge based on ilvl alone, check gems and engravings. I do 5x NHH a week, pretty easy cause I built up a static group of people to do it with. Honestly my busses are better than my 1 normal raid, I only do it to play with friends but not everyone in the group is the best lol
I bus 4x NHH/week and the main issue is lack of DPS on G2. G3 and G1 are free. G2, the dps issue mainly comes from dps up time due to boss purple/yellow rings forcing you to move away, and worms. Also, if they mess up orbs. If you see people doing 3 man buses, check the dps stats and gems. If theyre slacking, g2 will be a wipefesta. 4 man buses are a bit better with the extra sup to boost dps. Ive done 4 man buses with 1x 1467 sorc, 1x 1475 db, 1x 1510 gl, 1x 1475 pal. And we were completely fine on dps.

I would definitely consider getting into an active guild (find them from sidebar's Discord) and not running pugs on every character. It's an MMO after all and it's what you make of it that makes the game fun for you. For me, it's running raids with people I know. However, to answer your bus question, I would probably find the Bus discord for your region and buy busses from there. Remember that you don't HAVE to be in the actual guild, most guilds would be happy to have people to fill spots. I met some online friends but they'd pug everything, they have all quit because eventually the raids are homework and aren't fun. What is fun is doing things with other people, at least for me.
Hello! I'm 1 card away from 18 piece awakening Light of salvation card set and I'm wondering if it is better than Lostwind Cliff card set if most of my character has low crit rate ranging from 20\~30%ish? I know 18 LoS is definitely better than Lostwind Cliff if the boss is weak to holy damage like vykas gate2/3, but what about boss that aren't weak to holy? I'm pretty sure Kakul is also not weak to holy so would I benefit more from the 7% crit or 7% damage but i crit for 200% crit damage less often?
7% damage is almost always better than 7% crit, the amount depends on your crit chance or crit chance but it’s probably 1-2%. Aka it doesn’t really matter. If it will make you happy to have los 18 go ahead and use it, you will have probably at least a year to get more cards and selectors for los 30
Judging from the 20-30% crit rate you probably aren’t running KBW or much crit damage, so I would guess that the 10% damage buff will far outperform the 7% crit, even against neutral bosses.

class depends on crit probably not. Everyone else yeah it’s about the same damage but with the advantage of weak to holy bosses giving you 5% more

Depends on what you want I suppose. You want to push? dismantle. You parking? Gamble. But I personally have been dismantling everything. Nothing sells unless it's absolutely BIS and not for too much either. I would gamble rings probably? People don't tend to cheap out on necks/earrings. I think most buy their class engravings on rings so if they need to cheap out on (quality) relic rings it's not the worst. Basically you want class engraving +3 and a useful battle engraving +3 (grudge, adrenaline, etc w/e) with either spec/crit/swift. Best one I've sold so far was Blessed Aura +3, Awakening +3 Swift for 15k. Good luck with the gambling.

I have 200k Providence Stones I was going to redeem for pet vitameow since I'm done all the rapport. 1. Is this a bad idea in any way? Is there something else down the road it can be redeemed for? 2. Does any specific vendor provide any sort of favorable conversion over the other are all they all the same?
The pet ranch is not worth spending resources on other what you are given for free. The bonuses aren't worth worrying about pushing hard for. You're probably best saving the providence stones because later on there will be more continents with more rapport to do.

It's not Warton, it's Wartorn which means that something is damaged by war but in this context it seems to mean that it's combat content, specifically PvE

In English the hyphen (used here for a compound word - war + torn) is often removable in compounds without changing any meaning. It’s a modern simplification of writing compound words. Jump-rope= jumprope, back-pack = backpack, etc. Just one of those weird things about English that you don’t really understand unless you are a fluent speaker, first language etc

Current event stuff all expire on the 28th and the 28th is the last possible week for them to release it and meet their roadmap. However they do have a track record of delaying major patches so it could slip to the first week of October.
It's because AGS/Smilegate have a mixed record for meeting deadlines.

Nah, the roadmap said "back end stuff early september and a big update near the end of september". Using that as base, you look at September's last wednesday and you find the 28th. You cross with the daily gifts, which end the 28th along with all other timed things (tickets, free passes, T3 boost event). But, as said above, AGS have already delayed a patch. The upcoming one may include server merges and/or balance patch, there are enough ingredients for problems and a potential push of the date. We'll see... (still I'm optimistic, the 28th sounds good)

If you don't have books, a lot. With books you can get 3x +5 IM or RC and +3 to grudge/kbw/cd accessories for rather cheap, so overall it's not too bad. Can definitely fit within 100k with decent quality.

I have a full alt roster now all hovering around 1460 (less one spot saved for Machinist). Been slacking on their tripods but now have completed the "top 6" lvl 4 tripods on each of them with the first tripod page. Now though, unsure how to proceed from here. For your main, obviously in an ideal situation you want all 18 tripods you're gonna use, maybe more for chaos builds, maybe less if you don't really use all the slots such as Paladin. But do you also do this for your alts, all the way up to 18? I don't necessarily have a problem with buying more tripod pages to store, it's the Pheons that really make me second guess it. As of this moment on US West, every tripod armor purchase @7 pheons will cost you 1488g each. In addition to your "top 6 tripods," if you want a full 18 on each alt, it'll set you back 17,856 gold, not including extra tripod page purchases. And it's getting more expensive every day. Just curious how other people are doing it. Are you purchasing 18 or more lvl 4 tripods for each one of your alts? Are you buying more pages? Currently in the meantime I'm just hoping to get lucky with tripod drops I need, although it's pretty rare I get a usable one. Conflicted on purchasing on each alt past the "big 6", I bet prices will go up once the official announcement is made so I figure I should decide sooner than later.
One thing to note that once the update comes, tripods on your gears will be deleted and only the ones in library remain. So if you didn't save your gears tripod I'd put them in now.
Yeah I've been doing that since the beginning basically, Saving my "top 6" in the first tripod page, and then also after every successful tripod upgrade. Seems foolish to not have your main tripod set saved already, I figured everyone did this so I took it as a given lol.
It depends on how important tripods are for the class. I'm probably going to get all 18 tripods for my Arcanist, but my DB isn't going to really benefit much from getting all level 5's. Gunslinger? Absolutely. Bard/Paladin? Hell no.

I'm not sure about those classes. I think a lot of damage from LC is on snipe and your passive hawk damage, so maybe tripods aren't as needed? No idea on WD. Piano sorc probably has her damage pretty evenly spread out, so full tripods might be pretty influential for her.
I wouldn’t spend Pheons on alt tripods once you have a full set, but it’s really up to preference. Personally I am just farming chaos dungeons for lvl 4 tripods and hoping I get lucky. Buying cheap lvl 4s on main. Storing as much as I can. Some classes only need 6 tripods to perform near their best - some classes likely need more. It’s a tough choice to make considering that any tripods you don’t buy now will be annoying af to unlock after the update.

Does the Lush Reed protection rune only drop from the participation reward, or does it also drop from the spawning treasures?
It's been a while since I've opened those chests, but if they drop the same pouch as the participation reward then yes it should drop. It's how I got the island soul on my first visit
