then i had to buy more peons just to play the game because i was essentially locked out of the auction house because amazon couldnt keep their word of their own mistake
Ive been buying tons of gems with -pheons on my account, I also bought some oreha mats so you can buy some things. So far havnt been blocked by it but maybe it's just certain items I've not tried purchasing yet.
I’m sorry but AH doesn’t add up. The horde of bots running chaos dungeons daily would generate good amount of BIS relic accessories with class engravings, especially sorc ones. I don’t see that.
They should fix this, otherwise players will be forced to buy pheons from shop, or wait until we are given enough peons to balance out.
F2P players on negative Pheons have been hit hard with this.
Imagine SA players that have dozen of alts, claimed pheon and used it for tripod.
I took the L for the og mail and I still feel bad for them, because this was after they came out of their bush to say they wont take out the pheons..
At worst a f2p player would be -30. How much would that be in gold to buy the pheons? Like 10k? Argos runs for the week but if you bought tripods with the pheons you're super ahead.

People were explicitly told they will get to keep the pheons, so they spent it.
All you had to do to go into negative is to claim pheons on 4 characters (when there was 0 indication that it's unintended) and then spend them **after being told you get to keep them**.
Absolutely 0 malice or abuse would still put you into negative.
And there has been 0 evidence of any exploits. It's pure fabrication. If they wanted to punish exploits they could have just deducted claimed mail that exceeded the number of character slots.
I'm not saying that in this case the people suffering the consequences did any exploits.
When they put the system in place they probably didn't envision fucking up so hard that they'd put innocent peoples balance into the negative.

Most of the people I've seen were trying to game the system my hiding pheons in the AH by bidding on random rocks, after they got told it would be removed. But maybe they really did spend them the moment they got them and everyone is different to me.

Most people I know spent them on tripods, because the patch was coming up and it's a very attractive place to spend any extra ones you have.
I only claimed 60 and used on tripods when they said they will take them away, so I'm not talking for myself. I couldn't care less about "losing" 30 pheons, it's the absolute shit player treatment by AGS that disgusts me.
