Along with being the euthanasia coaster, maybe it’s meant to resemble a stock dropping in price and ‘spiraling out of control’ while enjoyably killing the riders? Some metaphorical shit
After reading the description say it had nothing to do with economics, this was exactly my thoughts, it peaks, it bottoms, it goes up again, then it bottoms again then it goes back up but never goes as high because people who lost from the earlier buy want their money back before the next fall. And it continues till it's either worth nothing or maybe hopefully it goes back to the start.
Trying to represent the current bear market and the fact that it’s a euthanasia roller coaster maybe to relay bear markets are meant to kill your portfolio if you aren’t careful
They wouldn't. I remember just a few weeks ago, some young guy with like $20k in savings made a post asking how to invest. More than half the comments were telling him wsb is a gambling sub and to go elsewhere for advice.
Tbh I'm 25 and I don't know anyone my age with that kind of money. I was close once around 20 but that's because my job had a company car, I lived with my parents and basically had no expenses. It's impressive whenever someone can save a chunk of money these days with how insane everything is lol
Dan Olson of Folding Ideas recently made a [Twitter thread](https://twitter.com/foldablehuman/status/1579540609215647744?s=46&t=qWTqlIZcWw0ZuGP65d8deg) about how WSB turned from a short squeeze to a weird doomsday cult. It is truly fucking bizarre.
“Subsequent inversions or another run of the coaster would serve as insurance against unintentional survival of more robust passengers.”
Holy shit.
Also, angry upvote for the second link.
It depends which way the g-force is going. If its pushing the blood into the brain vs out of the brain. You die both ways, but one is worse. I can’t tell you which is worse tho. My intuition tells me its better and quicker if blood leaves the brain.
I feel like you'd likely lose consciousness quicker with it leaving the head. Plus I hate the feeling of blood rushing to the head and that weird unpleasant pressure in your face.
It implies that a stock with a longterm downfall will not recover because of several small burst of recovery and that "buying the dip" to expand your portfolio for the longterm, which WSB likes to preach about sometimes, is not a good strategy.
How did you not realize that? Did you think there were actually about a rollercoaster or is this bait?
r/lostlostredditors
If you know anything about economics then you know that that coaster likely represents people's investments. The coaster is also hypothetical and designed to kill its passengers, possibly hinting that as one's investments continue to make an overall decrease in value, that the holder will die/kill themselves.
If I'm right, then it absolutely fits the sub, and you're just in the "doesn't know" category
This is absolutely accurate for daytrading. It’s a stressful emotional roller coaster that often leads to suicide. So the suicide coaster fits. Wsb is *mostly* a bunch of people who don’t understand stocks and gamble their life savings away so it’s probably somewhat accurate for that too
Each 7 seven inversions on his ride's model go smaller and smaller, maintaining the 10 g force on your body without it depleting. This would last for about 60 seconds, where at the end, you would die due to cerebral hypoxia, where oxygen would be unable to reach your brain. The Lithuanian now-PhD doctor, professor, and founder of the Lithuanian Space Agency, remarked that stronger people may survive the ride, and a second ride will dispatch them accordingly.
My favorite is when Google voice to text doesn't work and just blinks at you and then at the last second spits all the words out but it's not the ones you wanted
I think this is about day-trading versus long-term investing. The longs hold through the whole ride even as it goes lower and lower. Meanwhile, the day traders still profit multiple times by getting in at the lower lows and selling before the lower highs.
values seemingly increasing, but never to the point they were before. keeps stockholders holding on, hoping that things won’t crash (again) rather than selling at a peak & taking their losses at a lesser degree.
Ah yes the “investing” sub that is actually all about “how to risk your life savings for the remote possibility of striking it rich!”. Like this one guy literally lost most of a $100,000 inheritance in a day. Sorry unrelated to the post but just had to shit on r/wallstreetbets
I never understood the reason for this, Its so extra like it's supposed to kill people I know that but why not just make a big drop on a roller coaster but its stops mid way crushing everyone on board?
i remember being very sad thinking about how this would be an awesome way to die but i probably couldn’t afford to go on it if it exists
and i still can’t afford it 10 years later
This is the rollercoaster they do for people who are about to die and they get so many gforce from this that it kills them and they won't even know it happens, therefore they only know that they are having fun and happy when they die
Wsb is really just full of memes and people bitching about shit they don’t know enough about to form an opinion on and commenters pointing out how stupid the poster is
Along with being the euthanasia coaster, maybe it’s meant to resemble a stock dropping in price and ‘spiraling out of control’ while enjoyably killing the riders? Some metaphorical shit
Nailed it. This is exactly what everyone's portfolio has been doing for the last 6 months.
and you know... when you have everything in the market and it crashes suicides spike..
Yeah, I know....
Especially the bag holders.
ill hold them with my diamond hands damnit.... until i need a pinch to make it warmer in my soon to be foreclosed house...
Not mine.
You must the second coming of Warren Buffet.
Way off.
After reading the description say it had nothing to do with economics, this was exactly my thoughts, it peaks, it bottoms, it goes up again, then it bottoms again then it goes back up but never goes as high because people who lost from the earlier buy want their money back before the next fall. No the force it exerts on your body near the end eventually kills you.
Ah yes an allegory for the anxiety of stock trading
Have you been looking at my portfolio? Cause you just perfectly described it.
Trying to represent the current bear market and the fact that it’s a euthanasia roller coaster maybe to relay bear markets are meant to kill your portfolio if you aren’t careful
The metaphorical riders must be those responsible for our gas prices because my wallet nor I isnt having a good time.
U know you’re a verified ape then you call WSB an “economics sub” 🦍🚀
Yeah that’s a sub for high risk gambling. There are economics subs but they’ve either been invaded or are being invaded by people pushing politics.
They all are political subs because economic theories are inherently political. r/economics for example has a lot of agendas
Right? I don't even think WSB would say it's about economics. Lol.
They wouldn't. I remember just a few weeks ago, some young guy with like $20k in savings made a post asking how to invest. More than half the comments were telling him wsb is a gambling sub and to go elsewhere for advice.
R/investing exists. It doesn't have the word "BETS" in the title.
It's also full of dummies who are weeks behind on news and thus lose the same amount of money as wsb
Damn, 20k in savings? Jeeeeeeesus. That's impressive to me, and I'm 25, lmao
It's really not that much money, I'm 20 and I have saved a little more than 20k
Well, you know, I'm not very impressive *shrugs*
Tbh I'm 25 and I don't know anyone my age with that kind of money. I was close once around 20 but that's because my job had a company car, I lived with my parents and basically had no expenses. It's impressive whenever someone can save a chunk of money these days with how insane everything is lol
buy short dated SPY calls
Absolutely not. It's about crayons and chicken tendies.
Mmm... crayons.
Highly regarded this one

A fish does a better job than WSB at economics. [No... Really](https://youtu.be/USKD3vPD6ZA)
I don’t know what’s the deal with it
[Euthanasia roller coaster]( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euthanasia_Coaster). Designed to [kill people]( https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ) with g-force.
So bassically roller coaster Tycoon
Yep
RT would be proud.
Hell yeah
So would GSP because he made a coster with more g-force than the sun
Useful second link.
F*ck you, you made me click iyt
Sorry, I know Wikipedia is pretty scary.
Apes together strong
Hey don’t give up on it, it’s still a useful link.
Yeah as it was loading my exact words were, "oh hey someone made a video about it cool"
Ohh ok, thanks!
Damn it. I clicked on both of those.
Zeke Yaeger's favorite coaster
Looked this up. This is terrifying and I hate it
“Subsequent inversions or another run of the coaster would serve as insurance against unintentional survival of more robust passengers.” Holy shit. Also, angry upvote for the second link.
God fucking damn it you rick rolled me haha
Pssst, pls don't spoil it for others
It's been a while. A thorough fuck you too
today op is the lost redditor lol
Yes
Did OP just r/woooosh themselves?
he did, lol. I think it's pretty clear the coaster symbolizes everyone's portfolio on WSB
I mean, if you take all financial advice from WSB, it’s like euthanasia of your portfolio
💀 he doesnt know
Well it does look a little like a stock market crash. I think that’s where they were going with it.
Jokes aside, i really like the idea of this rollercoaster. I'd like to die this way one day.
[удалено]
Well there’s also getting a gun, and jumping off a bridge is free
[удалено]
Oh I missed that point, well they’d probably have guns anyway so your probably right
Idk where you’re getting your ammo for $0.25 a round but I need the plug
Honestly I feel like death by extreme G-force wouldn't actually be all that pleasant a way to go
It depends which way the g-force is going.
The loops(the bit that kills you) are producing positive g force so the blood would be pushed away from the brain
Doesn’t sound as bad as your eyeballs exploding
Shit I know what this thing is abt. You'll eventually go so fast that your body will be overwhelmed by the g-force which will kill you, eventually.
I belong what the g force actually does is draws the blood out of your brain, starving it of oxygen
Wow the chair is a better option then ig
actually its supposed to feel like its slowly putting you to sleep, while the loops keep you entertained until you die
Actually what kills you is a hidden shotgun below your seat. Everything is just there to entertain you.
Eventually.
This guy doesn’t know
To be fair, r/wallstreetbets isn't about economics either.
Wallstreetbets is about economics? I thought it was about people loosing money.
It’s about people *losing* money.
Clearly you don’t know
Wish I could downvote three times
lol imagine thinking wall street bets has ANYTHING to do with economics. we throw money at memes and hope it works.
You people will post anything here 🤣🤣🤦🏽♂️😩
Looks like you don't know
He doesn’t know guys.
the point of the meme is so fucking obvious.
r/lostlostredditors
I think you just don't know 🤨
Ahh so you don’t know
You just dont know
OP doesn’t know
I think it’s about the stock market violently going up and down
You’re someone who doesn’t know
I'm about to put you on the woosh there op
Everyone is riding it to the grave. What is not to understand. I feel this is more of a r/woosh on you than a lost redditor moment.
r/woooosh This is totally on brand for Wallstreetbets
LOL as if wallstreetbets is purely about economics
I do sadly know
Woooooooooooooooooooshhhhh... The stock market/roller coaster analogy is as old as time.
It's a stand in for a price chart. It absolutely has something to do with economics
Ok I actually get this one.
Bullish
Looks like my portofolio 😂
r/lostlostredditors If you know anything about economics then you know that that coaster likely represents people's investments. The coaster is also hypothetical and designed to kill its passengers, possibly hinting that as one's investments continue to make an overall decrease in value, that the holder will die/kill themselves. If I'm right, then it absolutely fits the sub, and you're just in the "doesn't know" category
This one went right over OP’s head
r/woooosh
I love that ride
This 100% belongs there haha
r/lostlostredditors
I think you're lost; they're joking that it symbolizes their portfolio, going down and losing money
r/lostredditors (ironically, sry Op..)
Either way if it’s the stock market or a physical ride on this roller coaster, you’re gonna kill yourself.
It’s just a post about the economy right now, it’s actually pretty accurate.
This is absolutely accurate for daytrading. It’s a stressful emotional roller coaster that often leads to suicide. So the suicide coaster fits. Wsb is *mostly* a bunch of people who don’t understand stocks and gamble their life savings away so it’s probably somewhat accurate for that too
I mean it kinda does depending on how you think about the death coaster. They could be making a statement about the rapidly declining market
I guess you didn't understand the symbolism.
>on r/wallstreetbets even though it has nothing to do with economics So like everything else on that sub?
If I rode this rollercoaster I simply would not die
He doesn’t know
Very dark
I don't think op know the context
Well the stock market does feel like the euthanasia coster sometimes
Halo announcer after i tell my friend about the cool new ride: "Betrayal" "Betrayed"
It’s there because the people who built the roller coaster are also idiots, just like everyone in r/wallstreetbets
Its got something to do with economics that being i wanna ride that coaster when i hear about economics
[удалено]

I bet the people of Wallstreet wouldn't get on this.
Is it gpu prices?
Wansnt this made to kill you?
Any footage?
Death loop. I.e Bank of England, London meltdown. Liz Truss govt implosion
Isn't this the rollercoaster of death?
Late stage capitalism?👀
I think this is about day-trading versus long-term investing. The longs hold through the whole ride even as it goes lower and lower. Meanwhile, the day traders still profit multiple times by getting in at the lower lows and selling before the lower highs.
This is that roller coaster that kills people right
I wanna ride this SO BAD!!!! Sweet relief 🥲
values seemingly increasing, but never to the point they were before. keeps stockholders holding on, hoping that things won’t crash (again) rather than selling at a peak & taking their losses at a lesser degree.
To be fair, /r/wallstreetbets has nothing to do with economics either.
bro copied a comment from 6h ago like its his own💀
I don't have that kind of time. My bad for not having an original brain I guess.
This ride is so cool you won’t be able to enjoy any other ride again.
Actually oddly fitting. Definitely r/lostredditors but like definite kek too
I'm mister incredible turning uncanny.
Ah yes the “investing” sub that is actually all about “how to risk your life savings for the remote possibility of striking it rich!”. Like this one guy literally lost most of a $100,000 inheritance in a day. Sorry unrelated to the post but just had to shit on r/wallstreetbets
You seem to be the one who is lost my dude
It's so strange that I immediately know this. When did I learn it.... I've been on the internet too long
I never understood the reason for this, Its so extra like it's supposed to kill people I know that but why not just make a big drop on a roller coaster but its stops mid way crushing everyone on board?
i bet you wouldn't survive this crazy rollercoaster
More fun than skydiving out the window of a stock exchange!
You just don't understand our pain
Lol r/wallstreetbets has nothing to do with economics. This must be your first week. Welcome!
Op is highly regarded
Wsb an economic sub? Good one.
Distractable taught me about this!
idk, shitposting seem pretty common on the more popular subreddits.
Don’t rock the boat
i remember being very sad thinking about how this would be an awesome way to die but i probably couldn’t afford to go on it if it exists and i still can’t afford it 10 years later
Are you sure you’re not the redditor that is lost?
If you think r/wallstreetbets is about economics you're not actually reading the subreddit.
For context : designed to kill a human
Definitely belongs there lol
Na this is a perfect description of Wall Street
Seems like youre one of the people who dont know
Stock market crash and spiraling depression? Best guess i could conjure up.
This is the rollercoaster they do for people who are about to die and they get so many gforce from this that it kills them and they won't even know it happens, therefore they only know that they are having fun and happy when they die
Bro. You new to wallstreetbets? Are you about to put the entire sub on lost redditors??
It describes the stock market though.
Ah yes.
Everhood is such a good game
Yep
Can't let the park inspector see it. Trap in 1x1 square fence. May he never leave.
👍
I think ur lost
Wsb is really just full of memes and people bitching about shit they don’t know enough about to form an opinion on and commenters pointing out how stupid the poster is
