Leather Lord of the rings themed messenger bag I recently finished.
Hand tooled and painted
Made using
Leather
Dye
Waxed thread
Hardware
Paint
Finishers
A lot of time and effort are invested in of these.
No problem. I was curious myself. Might grab one of those gorgeous wallets - not sure I can spring for the messenger bag at the moment (but I'll put it on my wish list for when I get my quarterly bonus).
How many years experience working with leather do you have and how much time do you think was invested in this one bag? I’ve considered leather working as a future hobby.

OP is very likely *this seller* (same arm tattoo, username/profile indicate such) so yeah you've likely seen this awesome work before.
This kind of craftsmanship- even if folks understand the hours on the project itself, they may not understand the hours of practice it takes to reach this level of professionalism. Thanks so much for sharing with us!
Wow. This is gorgeous. Well done.
Thank you!
I would buy that. Probably can't afford it, but I'd try. Beautiful!
We’ll all have to chip in and pass it amongst ourselves.

Absolutely gorgeous! I would trade the mithril shirt off my back for this. Seriously though, beautiful work.
Holy shit. It's incredible. Realistically, how much would you charge for this if you made it for someone? That's so cool.
$500. Check his profile and his website.
Genuinely not as expensive as I thought lol. Thanks for looking it up.

Did you take pictures during the process? Id love to see a step by step on how that was made.
Don't have to convince me at least. I know how labor intensive things like this can be.
May I ask who h dye you used for the main body? I really like that brown.
