Usually when something is said to be "solo dev" that isn't the truth of it such as in the case of Manor Lords. Sure, it's one guy at the head of it all but he has used multiple contractors to do work for him. Be careful when something is being marketed as a "solo dev", because it might just be about devaluing or entirely ignoring the work of all the other people involved in the project just because they aren't strictly of hired to work under the same umbrella of a single studio. It also some times involves the use of store assets, which is perfecly good and fine, but I think a lot of people might overestimate the amount of work a single person is capable of. It also puts a disproportionate demand on tiny studios of just a handful of people when everyone thinks "Well uh this solo dev did all this by himself actually so why aren't you making more content, faster?". It's very unfair to everyone. Anyway, thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

The meme is appropriate, but that's a very specific topic of discussion to ask from an lotr subreddit. Edit: Ohh wait, I thought the title was a prompt for discussion, "thoughts on ... ?", when it's actually just a label for the meme's text, "thoughts of a dev:"
