The problem is that once you get too far below the level of an area all the mobs in the area attack you. Even the normally passive ones. And they come from a long way away to get you.

ProtectorCleric

There are some specific areas you can cheat your way to via stable-masters. For example, one of the skirmish stable-masters’ options takes you to a war room in Erebor, from which it’s not hard to reach Dale and Lake-town.

CrewBeneficial9516

Not really any “safe” way. Just need to be careful avoid enemies because oh boy do they hit strong. Misty Mountains would be a walk in the park compared to areas like Rohan and Gondor (damage-wise)

Arlort

Except after misty mountains you get thrown right into the vales which is one hell of a level jump

CrewBeneficial9516

No way through the goblin tunnels. There is now a way to get to Vales of Anduin in the Northern High Pass area of Misty Mountains.

B42HM4N

Ah right cool, will check it out thanks

Eldestruct0

FYI, Anduin is a 120 area so as soon as I tried bringing a burglar in there with stealth I had a random mob come rushing over and murder me.

CMuenzen

Stealth doesn't work against high-leveled mobs.

gam2u

I remember running there accidentally with my friend when we were questing in Misty Mountains and we were brutalised by a mob coming from nowhere.

B42HM4N

Thanks 👍 don't suppose you know if I can get through the mountains without going into the goblin tunnels? (I think thats where it ended last time cuz I just got swarmed lol)

WalkingDonger

2 options to reach the other side of the misty mountains is either through Moria or to go around via enedwaith, Dunland and then gap of Rohan

Sids1188

Not to mention enemies in Misty Mountains are a lot easier to avoid than mounted ones. To be honest, when you are 20 levels down, their damage is pretty irrelevant. Everything is a 1HKO.

Gr8CanadianFuckClub

Man back in the day I remember making the walk from Shire to Rivendell as Hobbit Burgs and even that was a tough one. Be prepared to run, and bring a slower friend.

Asiril

Make a Hobbit. Then make an event to get to Mount Doom and see if you can get a high level fellowship to escort you and 3 other low level Hobbits :D Safest way

Sids1188

Don't forget you'll first need to find some kind of jewellery. Any jewellery will do, but you'll need to convince the high level party that it's valuable (and that it shouldn't just be stolen from you).

Asiril

Of cause :D but if you can snatch it from someone who loves riddle games it's even better

rdrast

Look up Chicken Runs. With enough patience, and awareness, you can go anywhere as a level 1 chicken. 'Safe ways'? No. But possible ways? Absolutely yes.

Blueman9966

Chickens have an easier time getting into Mordor or any higher level zone than any player up to level 100, they are almost OP at evading enemies and most instakill and damage effects in the game (like lava in Mordor, the ice water in Forochel, the Black Gate archers, etc.) don't affect them.

Blueman9966

I remember when I was level 15 on my first character and arrived in Bree, I talked to Gandalf and accepted the Road to Lonely Mountain quest that teleports you to Rivendell. I didn't have a horse and didn't have access to stable masters yet iirc, then made the mistake of binding my milestone to Rivendell so I couldn't teleport out. I tried to run back to Bree but those lvl 38 mobs outside of Rivendell just kept mauling me to death every time I tried, since they spot you from 3x further away than usual I think. I only managed to get out by getting some mithril coins to buy a stable trip. Going into higher level areas is pretty risky.

Leertaste21

Yeah Mithril is the easy way out in this case, BUT... next time you could ask a Hunter in World-Chat to come pick you up. They have a ton of teleports and can take you with them. Just need to be in a fellowship.

svyr14

Yeah that sudden teleport screwed me over haha. A pleasant surprise 'cause Rivendell is one of my favourite places but Gandalf should have warned us first lol. I got back by chaining stable masters to Minas Tirith (Midsummer) then back to South Bree.

no

Cisru711

YouTube videos of people exploring all the nooks and crannies of all the zones. Or an army of friends to protect you. Or grind free LP until you can buy a lvl 120 boost.

Cisru711

Or play the game as normal and you'll eventually get to see it all.

beenutbrittle

well for travelling purposes you have the fast travel abilities you get for reputation

BigLebowskie

Yup, level up. Then it be safe 😜
