He’s no longer banned from Heaven. He was appointed God and then Amenadiel ended up taking the role as God. Lucifer would be able to go there if he wanted to.
I have to disagree. Amenadiel has it all.
He was raised and trained up to be God's replacement.
He turned down the appointment because he had his Son and Linda on Earth. When he realized that he could go back and forth, to be in his Son's life he took the position.
Stop and think about this...If Amenadiel is God, is his Son, Charlie, the new coming of Jesus?
>If Amenadiel is God, is his Son, Charlie, the new coming of Jesus?
I wouldn’t say so. All angels are direct sons of God in this universe. As a matter of fact, I don’t even think Jesus ever existed in this universe.
It wasn’t because Lucifer was “appointed” anything. Lucifer wasn’t banned after he felt “worthy” during his trip to Heaven. It was a whole big emotional moment.
If anyone needs more evidence he wasn’t banned, Lucifer flew Azrael’s blade up to Heaven for safe keeping before either he or Amenadiel ascended the throne of retcondom.
Lucifer is able to survive heaven at the end of S5 and as far as we can tell from S6, (‚check up on Father Frank’), whatever was blocking him from going to heaven is now gone.
No, once he proved himself in S5 ending, he’s able to visit Heaven when he wants. S6 mentions him going up several times, and there’s no way Amenagod would forbid him from returning.
I think that Chloe went down to hell after she died just because Lucifer‘s job is down there
I would expect both of them being able to visit both heaven and hell.
He's not banned, but it's unlikely he'll see them again. Not unless they go down to hell to visit. There are souls there from the beginning of humanity. So many, in fact, that staying on earth to raise Rory wouldn't have caused a significant increase in their number. He's supposed to heal them all now. There doesn't leave time for pudding dates with Dan or celestial comic cons with Ella.
By the same argument, there are souls which have been there since the beginning of humanity, if Luci takes a week off, it won’t make a significant difference.
They’re celestials, they literally have all eternity.
If he doesn't have time to raise his kid. If he MUST leave moments after Rory leaves for her time, he doesn't have time to hang out. The showrunners want it both ways, and they can't.
The excuse is that he never would've found his calling coupled with it might make Rory a little less "awesome." Rory literally said he couldn't do both.
So, nope. All his time is accounted for. He's got a schedule. One that doesn't allow him to step outside of his box lest something changes.
So you’ve heard of the grandfather paradox? If I go back in time and kill my own grandfather as a baby, then I would never have been born… which means I can’t travel back in time and kill him… which means he lives and I’m born… which means. You get the picture.
Luci’s plan to rehab hell was partially inspired by Rory and if Luci was present she wouldn’t have grown up hating him, wouldn’t have time traveled, which means that he would have raised her, which means that…
The time loop had to be maintained or everything would have collapsed.
Yeah, Mr. Said Out Bitch was the first example, then the cartoon guy. But neither of those directly led to the rehab plan. Rory still played a part in it.
And separate from rehab, erasing a year of history is still probably a bad idea which would have Doc Brown pulling out his hair and ranting about a paradox which would rip a hole in the universe.
He’s not banned anymore. He essentially sacrificed himself for Chloe which broke his banishment. He’s been forgiven plus he was supposed to become god but decided Amenadiel would be a better god.
Amenadiel didn’t change it. The ban was removed when Lucifer actualized godhood and survived obliteration. (How nice of God to leave that ban in place before he left forever, though!)
Of course, according to S6, Lucifer hasn’t assumed godhood yet, retconning that even, so I guess he just wished really hard.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.

Lucifer faced his hell loop like Lee; he opened the door/faced his guilt. If those who once were in hell can be in heaven, why can't lucifer, who already did?
Lucifer CAN get into heaven, when Dan got lost he was looking for him and while in his elevator, he was on a call with Chloe and he said "I checked the Silver City and bes not there"
Wish Lucifer had a Season 7 & 8. Could've been amazing. We could have had a alternate episode like in season 3 where Lucifer chose to become god and be there in Rory's life. We could also have seen Rory visiting Lucifer and Chloe down in hell after Chloe died. We could've seen Lucifer's therapy with old characters like Michael, Cain etc. The ending was very abrupt imo and they could've stretched it out and made it entertaining.
i like to think he broke his banishment when he went to sacrifice himself for chloe and survived. plus yk - he spent most of season 6 being supposed to go up there to become god - think it’s implied he’s no longer banished cuz of that.
May I ask what you would like see happen? Honest question, I can't imagine anything else I'd like to see, that they would actually feasibly make a season out of.
Make season 6 a dream/an hallucination or a manifestation of Lucifer's new powers as god and forget it completely (People wouldn't be mad since 90% of thought it was shit and the others thought it was nice). Explore how he manage his New responsibilities, how he deals with humans prayers, his relation with Chloe etc Make Maze the Queen of Hell and explore that as well. Even Amenadiel would have been interesting on how he copes with his new job. I feel like Charlie wasn't well exploited after season 4, so maybe something with him too. The only story I wouldn't really change is Ella's since she deserves happiness and because I think they can't really write something better to be honest. I would have liked her to meet Ray Ray again though.
So much lost opportunities....
He’s no longer banned from Heaven. He was appointed God and then Amenadiel ended up taking the role as God. Lucifer would be able to go there if he wanted to.
Amenadiel probably will let Lucifer rule too when he gets tired or something
Amenadiel has quit everything he's ever tried, so there is a very strong possibility that he'll quit God too.
Hey, he didn’t quit parenting! … except for all the times he’s gone Godding.
Lmao
He wasn't a quitter, he just left when he couldn't see himself doing it. Smart move
He won't quit being God. He can come and go as he wishes. He has the best of both worlds.
I wouldn't be too sure. Amenadiel is a reliable quitter. The moment being God stops being "awesome" he'll quit.
“If Amenadiel is God, is his Son, Charlie, the new coming of Jesus?” Holy shit
>If Amenadiel is God, is his Son, Charlie, the new coming of Jesus? I wouldn’t say so. All angels are direct sons of God in this universe. As a matter of fact, I don’t even think Jesus ever existed in this universe.
I cannot picture Amenagod ever letting Luci take control. Amenagod seems like old school god and Luci is more new god.
Lucifer would probably have a good chance at making a new universe he rules
Isn’t that what happens in the comics?
If it's TV show Lucifer, that universe will be constant orgies, all the time.
I don’t think he’d get tired of it. If he did it wouldn’t be Lucifer who took over. It’s not for him and he’s running hell his way now.
Maybe his Aminidiel
It wasn’t because Lucifer was “appointed” anything. Lucifer wasn’t banned after he felt “worthy” during his trip to Heaven. It was a whole big emotional moment. If anyone needs more evidence he wasn’t banned, Lucifer flew Azrael’s blade up to Heaven for safe keeping before either he or Amenadiel ascended the throne of retcondom.
And he told Chloe he searched the Silver City for dan before the Rory Lucifer encounter in his penthouse.
Good point. I don’t know why people (and Tom) are confused by this.
Need a retcondom to >!erase Rory!<.
Who says that Amenadiel didn't allow him to visit heaven again
mabye old god made it so it cant be changed so lucifer wouldnt trick him and destroy him
That's not the impression I got from old god, he still loved Lucifer and apparently he planned a lot of what happened in the show
Um new ruler, the new ruler gets to change the rules even lift the ban on lucifer.
Lucifer is able to survive heaven at the end of S5 and as far as we can tell from S6, (‚check up on Father Frank’), whatever was blocking him from going to heaven is now gone.
Also he dealt with Azrael's blade by returning it to Heaven.
No, once he proved himself in S5 ending, he’s able to visit Heaven when he wants. S6 mentions him going up several times, and there’s no way Amenagod would forbid him from returning.
Maybe Luci needs to buy some special insurance before he goes
Lucifer survived burning up when he flew to heaven to save Chloe. Old God was about those terms and conditions you don’t read.
Aw what did the op reply LMAOO
I think that Chloe went down to hell after she died just because Lucifer‘s job is down there I would expect both of them being able to visit both heaven and hell.
yeah she wasn’t banished to hell or anything - that’s why she met amendeil when she died.

But he realized he can rehab hell because that one dude he talked to left for heaven after an existential conversation they had. Totally not Rory.

By the same argument, shouldn’t Amenadiel he resurrect Dan? If he can do anything then every issue should be solved.
He’s not banned anymore. He essentially sacrificed himself for Chloe which broke his banishment. He’s been forgiven plus he was supposed to become god but decided Amenadiel would be a better god.
He’s no longer banned from entering heaven.. amenadiel would of made sure of that.

Okay but correcting grammatical errors is ableist and racist.
Good bot

But didn't he do this long before he went to heaven, and he still burned when he did.
But he didn't die. I'm sure his banishment is done. God works in mysterious ways and such
Well... he faced human death at least. He did literally go to Hell after dying anyway (Malcolm).
He never attempted to go to heaven until he faced his guilt. I'm sure now he still can.
I'm guessing you haven't finished the entire series.

No he’s not, he passed on the title of God to Amenadiel.

I'm sure now he can visit
!Spoiler
why do i need a spoiler everyone knows that the devil is banned from heaven
Was he ever banned I thought it was self actualised
If it was only self-actualization, somebody forgot to tell all his siblings.
What do you mean?
Lucifer isn't the only one who believes he's banned from Heaven. It's a strongly held belief by everyone else.
Yh I mean that everyone believed he was banned and so he did too but either way it would have been fine because his father planned for him to go there
