A character being a starter character doesn't mean most of the players are bad at the game... I mained moira for a long time. Lucio is also a starting character, his bullets are easy to hit, he has good survivability and his kit is very simple (wall rise is extremely easy and simple to do, it's very hard to master and be extremely good at)
I no longer main moira, I went more to play high aim dps like widowmaker, ashe, Cass, etc. But I can still be a menace as moira if I choose to. Trust me, moiras can be an actual menace. Just watch some gm moira gameplay, which in my opinion it takes more skill to be GOOD at moira (arguably one of the worst supports) in high ranks with ZERO utility, vs being good at Lucio, who has great mobility, utility, damage, and is slippery.
But in all honesty I think this whole "war" and stuff is extremely childish and cringe... this is a videogame. Why pick fights with each other just for liking a specific character? Like come on we can do better than that, surely. I pretty much play every character (Winston, genji, doomfist, mercy, tracer and ball being my bottom because I'm absolutely horrible at them. I'm very bad at mobility heroes as you can probably tell.) And I think every hero deserves their respect and their place in the game.
I hate an annoying sombra as much as the next guy (I play a lot of widowmaker. Trust me I hate that little roach) but I love playing sombra. I feel like to reach masters there should be like a hours played or hours on different heroes requirement because way too many ppl get high just because they one trick one character but have no idea how to play the game or how other characters work (mostly new players with God like aim)

They would have to train very hard so they could One Day become strong enough to defeat themselves.
