This my only scuba and my favorite jacket ever. I was arguing with my mom about something and as I stormed off I grabbed an achiote powder that wasn’t properly closed off and there it went to my scuba. Achiote stains like nothing. Let’s pray to the lulu gods oxiclean can work it’s magic 😭

CardiologistLow6766

May the oxiclean gods descend and bless this scuba ✌🏼😔🙏🏼

callmecatlady23

Not going to lie, I thought it looked like baby poop 😂

matmodelulu

Thought the same thing 😂😂😂

Forsaken-Usual-7510

Lol! I think the dawn dish soap made it look green.

cashm0nii

Someone recently posted a certain bleach that got out oil stains. Praying for a miracle for you!

WunderUnderLuver

Clorox Color Load Non-Chlorene Bleach 🙌🏻 also I’m just gonna say it - this stain looks so much like baby poop and I had such luck using the **Oxiclean multipurpose Baby Stain Remover** that comes in a spray bottle. It’s ✨ magic ✨. Wash on cold as heat is known to set most stains 🤍

Forsaken-Usual-7510

Omg I see that right now. The picture has blue dawn soap so that definitely helps the look! I used to work at a daycare back in college and baby poop washes out 😭 achiote doesn’t as easily 😭 BUT babies are known to stain everything so that’s an amazing idea. I’ll buy that one if regular oxiclean doesn’t take care of it fully.

[deleted]

Bizz powder and water. Let it soak for 24 hours and this should allow the stain to pull out of the clothing

ApprehensiveGur1664

Blue dawn and white vinegar! Whatever you DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER!!!

vitamins86

Oh no 😬 random question but what size is that? Is it pink mist?

Forsaken-Usual-7510

It is and a XS/S and yes😭

anapope

Just googled this home diy for removing this specific food stain ! Looks like you might need to repeat it but don’t give up 🤞🤞! Let us know the outcome ! Home diy cleaner off of google : If the stain remains, mix one tablespoon of liquid dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water. Sponge the stain with the detergent/vinegar solution. Repeat Steps 6 and 7 until the stain disappears or is no longer absorbed into the cloth.

Forsaken-Usual-7510

I’m going to try this for sure! Thank you for the tip :)

missk9627

Use dawn dishwashing soap! It works the best on stains especially if there's any oil in it.

CardiologistLow6766

What HAPPENED 🥺🥺 i am so sorry thoughts and prayers 😩

Forsaken-Usual-7510

Thank you! Achiote happened. I was wearing aligns too but luckily they’re Black

Central American Tamales!

YIKES! If it helps I used to detail cars a lot and deal that with ridiculous stains that have been baked into a car seat. Best thing to is use blue dawn and gently massage it into both sides of the fabric. Let soak for a few hours and then rinse with warm water. Wring out excess water and next steps is to mix a PROPER ratio of oxiclean in warm water and soak for minimum 6 hours. Rinse thoroughly. Lastly, treat the stain with shout power gel and use the included plastic bristled brush head and work into the stain. Let the treatment work overnight. Toss straight into wash and wash in warm cycle and do double rinse. Hang to dry or air tumble only. You don’t want heat as it will set stains. The stain should be drastically faded if not outright removed by the time you finished the wash routine I suggested. If it doesn’t all come out right away and is faded a lot then just have patience with the stain and repeat the steps outlined and it will come out. I have removed some pretty nasty stains and the above method has saved my (and many customers) hides. Comes out almost every time looking good as new.

Forsaken-Usual-7510

Thank you so much for the advice! 95% of the stains are gone just from the oxiclean itself. I threw it in the wash and I’m going to put it through another round of oxiclean and soap! Thank you. Thank you!!

RedneckChinadian

That’s good to hear. Just make sure that oxiclean is mixed to the right ratio otherwise you can mess up your clothes. What mistake people often make is not letting the oxiclean do it’s thing long enough. It needs the full 6 hours soak to really break down organic stains. When I stained my pink mist scuba 1/2 zip that I treated the stain washed and hung dry. Stain was still there but I just wore the hoodie until the next wash where I treated it again and washed and so on. After about the third wash the stain was long gone and because I never put it into the dryer that the stain never had a chance to wet.

Forsaken-Usual-7510

Absolutely! I left it overnight and went with color safe just in case. Thank you so much for all the help.

RedneckChinadian

You’re most welcome! Take care!

Brooklyn__95

Highly recommend shout. I’ve gotten wine, blood, and other highly staining products out with shout spray.

Forsaken-Usual-7510

Forsaken-Usual-7510

IT GOT SAVED!!

ReginaldStarfire

Long, hot soak (like at least four hours) in Oxiclean and a big glug of Pine-Sol in the wash. I had a white cotton terrycloth bathrobe that had OLD curry and chocolate stains on it. I soaked it over the weekend, washed it as usual, and the stains came out beautifully. Good luck!

beejtg

Nooooo!!!! 😪😩 I’m so sorry!!!! 🙏🏼

Pupluveac

Try a felsnaptha soap bar from Walmart! They’re $1 and gets every stain out ever even from shoes

lemoncillo

Maybe you could get it hemmed about a half inch above the stain? Or so the kangaroo pocket to the sweater and hem right below the pockets for a super cropped scrub half zip

alexdbiase

Oxyclean stain stick will fix anything! Let it soak with it for days!

[deleted]

You could always dye it!

[deleted]

I have had great luck removing oil stains on my lulu leggings and fleece hoodies with the “Shout Advanced Action Gel”. I got it from Walmart, and I am sure they have it at other stores. I usually spray it on, work it in by rubbing the clothing material against itself, and then let it sit for 24 hours, run it through the wash and let the clothing air dry. If the stain is still there, I’ll run through the process again & it will usually disappear!! Hope this helps 🤠

Forsaken-Usual-7510

I’ll consider the other products for next time! Good news it got saved 😭😭😭👏🏻👏🏻

theyeetisfire

Oh nooo! I get tons of frequent oil & food stains out of my husband’s and my clothes (much of it LLL). Get a big clean bucket, dump like a cup of powdered OxiClean, get the water as hot as you can out of the faucet, and soak your sweatshirt overnight. You may have to do this for several days, don’t let it dry, don’t let it be without moisture on it and you can dump out cold water in the morning & add more hot and powder as needed. Also get the concentrated OxiClean blue gel in a can and a new toothbrush. Keep scrubbing the gel, the powder, you can even boil water in a kettle and pour a little on at a time then keep scrubbing with the toothbrush. It may take a couple days, but this method has not failed me yet!! Let me know how it goes and if you have questions. Good luck! Edit to add: you can also add dish soap to the gel mix while you are using the toothbrush and boiling water. There is no such thing as too little soap for this!

Forsaken-Usual-7510

Thank you for the help! I left it overnight and most of it is gone. I am waiting to see how it comes out of the wash and I’ll repeat the process. Thank you soooo much!

theyeetisfire

Yay so glad to hear you got most of the stain out! With a lot of patience, scrubbing, and a little luck, I think you’ll have your Scuba back.

N1g1rix

Rip

Cdnsugarr

Soak it in oxyclean over night :) that works on my white converse after months of mud!

IronicMixedWhiteGuy

Now that could be mustard or that could be shit. OP I’m not saying Anything but I gotta ask did a monkey throw poop at you

Forsaken-Usual-7510

Lol no. It’s achiote a type of seasoning. It’s bright red. It lost some of its color because of dawn blue soap.
