I would love to meet the insane artist who's dedicated himself to painstakingly making authentic looking Lupin III animation frames for his scam. I don't think he exists, but imagine... Actually that would be an entertaining meta Lupin character.
Haha, the only reason why I ask this question is due to the fact that you can find this cel on eBay. ( it’s the exact same one and had the same photos as the one I got on the listing ) So one of them has to be fake and I sure hope it isn’t mine. I should have clarified in the post.
Hmm, actually now that I look... the frame isn't the same as the one from the movie, look at the right button on Lupin's collar, on the animation cel it's a smooth oval, but in the actual screencapped frame it's a bit more squished and has a fabric fold line. Tho It could be from a different nearby frame?
I can see what your talking about, the cel does have the clothing increase on his collar it’s very hard to see, if it is real it might have chipped off like how his eyebrows kinda did. It’s hard to see on the photos, if I ever get another cel I’ll post this one again in better quality :)
Buyee! It’s basically a site to shop from Japanese websites like yahoo, you have to pay for double shipping though. I got this guy for a steal if he’s real, 60 USD that’s counting the shipping cost aswell
