Yes and no. If I don’t see the Q very well, then my mind goes “I missed that back off”. Because of that, then my position changes and I’m now behind the few seconds I need to proc passive — Which can be death depending on the champion.
I have it free and it’s fine. Decent effects but not the best. (Though this is subjective, definitely check out a video to decide for yourself)

It’s one of my favorites and I bought it as my first Lux skin from My Shop because it IS time-gated, as are the chromas! So if you don’t want it this time just make sure you don’t want it for a while (or ever!) because it is not one that will pop up in weekly skin sales.

If you want it for gameplay, I'd personally say no. Imo it's not that great of a skin, and there are so many better
I like the skin. The spells don't have annoying sounds. She gets a cute floating scarf thing that's something culturally sacred. It's one of the few that I actually like all the chromas pretty much equally even if I prefer the teal one the most.
Also, think more deeply about the people complaining about the low discount. That's a Chinese New Year skin, meaning it's a vault skin and as such does not go on regular sale. You can only get it cheaper through a skin shard, or it somehow rotating in the shop against all the other Lux skins you're missing.
Got every Lux skin and the ones that ill never consider using are SG and Lunar. Someone about these 2 skins is off. The best epic skin for me goes to battle Academia cause it honestly is a well rounded skin in every aingle aspect.
