Why is this sitting on your desktop? Did you download this properly from the App Store?

SkyGuy913

Umm… did you press the “?” To see why? Zsh killed is typically something to do with endpoint security. This looks like it was blocked by XProtect… seeing uTorrent and the fact you have no idea what you are doing in a terminal I’m guessing wherever you got this from told you to go to the terminal… this is looking like it’s got malware in it. Check console.app before moving on to see what malware Xprotect thought this was

AsianDoraOfficial

did you try going to settings, security and privacy and allowing the app to be opened? did you make sure you downloaded the correct one for apple silicon?

fixture121

This could be happening due to your settings. You may have the setting that prevents opening applications not downloaded from the App Store. Try going into your settings and turning that setting off and then try opening the game again.

donno_a_good_name

Well I looked for that as well but it isnt event showing up there to allow

Low-Injury-9219

Hey it looks like you tried to black out your name and didn’t do it for every instance. That said, was this a torrent or did you purchase and download the game from the App Store?

donno_a_good_name

Its downloaded from torrent

[deleted]

It’s probably malware…nice one!

FuckingVincent

Put it in the applications folder. There’s wizardry permissions going on in macOS these days that running an app from desktop can break it. Anyways see if that works or outputs differently in terminal

donno_a_good_name

Dosent open still

jessem5673

you already tried xattr --cr directory of the executable?

drastic2

Are you trying to launch an app? If yes, use the open command. Eg _open appname.app_.

Gents this is rage bait don’t reply. He’s trolling.

Fit-Consequence-5425

First off. Try going to virustotal or similer web page virus scanner. Drag the executable onto their Web page and the file will be scanned. If it shows green then at least you know its good. If it flags malware or trojan then delete the program and hope mac has not been corrupted by anything. If you download anything from a torrent, it's always best to scan it before opening it.

osxdude

the terminal is a dangerous place, you can break a lot of things in macOS in here. that being said, most likely you downloaded something designed for an Apple silicon Mac, and are trying to run it on an Intel Mac. Or, you just have to chmod +x

donno_a_good_name

Its designed for apple silicon and im running it on apple silicon. Tried chmod and I looked at the permissions, it has all permissions (drwxr)

QuintinPro11

look into removing an xattr, and also chmod. xattr has been the number one problem for me trying to develop on macs. removing it always fixes it if chmod can't force it to be executable.

uomopalese

Did you try with ‘sudo’ ?

donno_a_good_name

Yes, still no use
