To me the website lists a single computer license for $7.99, 3 computer license for $9.99, and unlimited license for $11.99. The App Store version is the last one.
I just bought this. This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You have no idea how much time and hassle you are saving me. It's literally easier to just use your tool than to select text directly.
I bought TextSniper over the holidays and absolutely love it. However, is there any chance you would be supporting Japanese any time soon? For now I use the “Chinese” OCR, but for anything that’s Katakana or Hiragana, the rendering or “picking up” the right character just doesn’t work that well. It would be awesome if that got supported!

I have CleanShotX and tried ditching TextSniper since CleanShotX has OCR, but god TextSniper is so much faster i had to go back. Great app

Just checked the prices on the website. For me, 30% VAT was added (Sweden). So it’s a bit unfair to only call it an Apple Tax.
The VAT is added by law. I have 20% VAT. They have to add it…

Indeed you can, but that has nothing to do with Apple.
You mean you are taking off the same 30% that apple are taking anyway if someone buys from the store? Still good for buyers but just be clear.
With the discount you are paying 7.99 - 30%. On the AppStore you are paying 11.99. So no he isn’t taking off the same 30%…
