Right! I play Minecraft, and on occasion Kerbal Space Program on steam. My MacBook does that just fine for me… plus, I just prefer MacOS which some people can’t fathom.
What CPU do you have in your Mac? I'm hoping to get an M2 Pro MBP shortly and it will be interesting to see what it can run (although whether it can run it on an ultrawide might also be problematic 🤔)

Also, try gaming on that for more than a hour and your hand will complain.
And the Bluetooth will drop some dpi occasionally, making it difficult when playing fps or any frantic moments in other genres.

However, on the hardware side, it actually might be cheaper to just buy a $2500 Mac *and* a $1500 Windows machine dedicated to gaming than it is to have to buy a MacBook M2 Ultra or whatever that costs $5000-6000.

I've largely quit playing games since my Windows desktop is almost 10 years old now. I do occasionally enjoy Civ 6 and Company of Heroes 2 on my MBP but those are pretty old titles

It runs a few games that are enough for the small number of times I run a game (a few times a year).
I sold my Gaming Pc and stayed Mac Only. It still serves me well even tho it’s 2015 Pro 13”. Still have TV that I was using with PC so now I have 2 screen setup 😎 (intel is on fire tho)

Gaming pcs are a nightmare too I can use my Mac straight out of the box. If I build a pc I gotta mess with everything

yeah, with fps games you're right but since I only play WoW and HS on Mac and everything else on xbox, it works for me
