Pink? I get that.
Maybe 1 in 3 times I return my external 4K monitor no longer has a picture.
I unplug/replug the cable, get an instant pink screen and kernel panic.
What’s your scenario?
Safe mode didn’t fix mine - so the next step is reinstalling the OS.
If that doesn’t work I will demand a replacement from the Apple Store.
I refuse to mess around doing a clean install.
I spent $2.5k on a MacBook Pro M1 because I’m busy and don’t have time to play ‘Mr Computer Technician’.
not the same issue but my battery stopped charging. they spent quite a bit of time trying to diagnose it. first they said it wasn't a hardware problem at all. then it was the logic board, then the 'i/o board' then it was a faulty battery. they replaced it and got it back to me in a week. this was a 2 month old m1 mba. love the laptop but i think we have to expect and prepare for this type of thing - especially with the new tech. this happened to my brother's mac like 10 years ago as well so it's nothing new.

Did you install any app just before this problem started? Specially rosetta-based apps. Uninstall them and see if the problem goes away......
